Aladin's Kebabish in Barnet

Visited with 8 family members today. Really poor service and honestly below average food. Argumentative and uninterested staff. Poor management. Was really looking forward to it and came from really far and we all left extremely disappointed. Not cheap either and will definitely not return.

Aladin's Kebabish Nihari provides a decent dining experience. The nihari, while not exceptional, offers a satisfactory taste with tender meat and adequate seasoning. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, making it a reasonable option for those looking for a casual place to enjoy Pakistani cuisine. However, it might not stand out compared to some other options in the same culinary genre.

Avoid this at all costs!!! Ordered food home and was late 1:30h called and they hung up the phone in my face. Food was badly cooked and overpriced

Hi I tried 2 times and i was surprised their level of food and service is getting horrible. Please be advised Unchee Dokan Pheka Pakwan.....

Poor Quality Overly Priced food, No parking around, Only Accept Cash so one would need to make sure they have cash on them.

Waste of time to go there for nihari .I went there last week first time and ordered nihari.it was so bland no taste of gravey .and the staff is so rude and ignorant .one white shirt shirt manager was so rude that he said to us to eat quickly .I never saw this kind of attitude to any restaurant when u eating inside.if u live far do not go there and waste your money and time

. This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some Pakistani classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

Went here recently with a mate for a good curry. I have been here before and I know its pretty authentic Pakistani group like I grew up with. Started off with samosas which were hot and flavourful and then had the incredible lamb madras which was spiced perfectly and cooked to perfection. Cooled it down with a fresh passion juice. Really exceptional.

If food is cooked with unconditional love and passion the result is bliss. Aladin's Kebabish- a 150 seater-restaurant in London's Hendon area is a paradise for food lovers. Mouth-watering Nihari with succulent lamb shanks, superlative Kheer (Phirni) and fresh breads from the Tandoor are a treat to have once in England. Traditional aroma of Nihari remains in your tastebuds for hours and its an amazingly reasonable restaurant. Loved by the South Asian diaspora as well as local British, it's a must visit when in London for any gastronomic lover. One can also experiment with various forms of Chicken/Lamb curries and a host of grilled options. Now the BEST part: The owner Mr Tanveer takes special care and interest by actively participating in each activity not just in the restaurant but also the kitchen. Goes to customers personally to ask about the quality and well-being which gives this place an edge over others.

Bought some foreign friends along to taste some authentic Pakistani food. Ordered Mixed grill. Standard . Nothing special For mains ordered Karachi Nihari, Karachi Haleem & Saag Chicken & Egg Chana (The only dish that was finished). The rest were terrible. Saag was requested hot but came out so bland and watered down. Chicken was cold. Karachi Haleem was not touched after the first scoop with tandoori naan. Karachi Nihari also untouched after first scoop. Bland with no flavour . Very disappointed. Never again. (And the waiters looked at us like we wasted the food, I’m sorry , NO. Food was not great at all)

One of the best desi food in London, especially Nihari is awesome. They have a raneg of deserts so higly recommended place while you visit London.

Ordered Nihari, Haleem, 1/2 tandoori chicken and their special Biriyani with garlic Naan. Every item was delicious and good value for money, with generous portions and lots of meat. You can also get a Jug of Lassi if you are in a big group. Went on a Saturday night.There was enough seating and did not have to wait at all. I also did not have a problem with the service. The person who served me made well thought of suggestions, there was no hard sell for the drinks, and the food arrived on time. The downsides (which is why I gave only 4 stars instead of 5) is a) they don't prefer taking cards for payment and b) the toilets were filthy. Lastly while nothing to do with the restaurant itself, there is not much parking in front of the restaurant, so take this into account if you are visiting during parking restriction hours. In the evenings, when restrictions don't apply, you can park a little distance away or on a nearby side street.

My whole family loves their food. We ordered Nihari, Halwa puri, Palao and Beef Bbq boti. Must say everything was so yummy. Highly recommended for all.

If you are searching for an authentic Nihari, Haleem or karahi dish served in a restaurant, then look no further! Take it from a meat eating, curry loving, self proclaimed South-Asian food connoisseur! This is a no frills restaurant in London - Do not expect 5 star dining or exceptional service! But do expect your food to taste magical when it hits your palate - especially the Nihari. I have eaten a hell of a lot of curries in my life time and this restaurant does food as close to mums home cooked delicacies as possible. I highly recommend Nihari with "til waleh naan" or better known as "kulcha". Enjoy!

The halim was sumptuous! The nihari lamb shank was slow cooked to a delicious tenderness in a delicately spiced gravy. The paya was better than the ones I had in Hyderabad old town. As the hot tawa rotis started disappearing from our plates I could sense the barely concealed triumph in Bar’da’s eyes. It’s the triumph of someone who has just shared esoteric knowledge. We were inside one of his recent discoveries - a nondescript Indian- Pakistani restaurant. Tucked away close to staples corner in the industrial area of west Hendon is this misleadingly named restaurant “Aladin’s Kebabish” It’s a family run Karachi style restaurant with one of the most awesome mughlai food I ever tasted On a high street jostling with indian and Pakistani takeaways and Afghani restaurants and Turkish grocers it looks like any other ordinary takeaway restaurant. it’s anything butIt’s a family run Karachi style restaurant with one of the most awesome mughlai food I ever tasted . as per title. staff havnt got a clue about service. running round like headless chickens . food very late after reminding them twice after ordering. It used to be better when it was in the smaller premises on the same road. Their barbeque stuff is crap. If you want good Punjabi bbq go to Lahore in Hendon not this place. the only thing that they can cook which is semi decent is nehari, period

Visited the restaurant over the weekend and the staff simply ignored us, restaurant was empty. Waited 5 minutes, decided to leave. Typical Pakistani ignorant staff!! Will never return and will not recommend it to anyone. One to avoid!! M and S.

Sin duda el mejor Haleem en el Reino Unido, es increíble y junto con el cordero biryani, este lugar es fabuloso.

Esta fue la primera vez que he visitado. Las samosas no eran en absoluto pakistaníes. Las raciones de comida eran grandes y sabía sin embargo agradable el servicio era muy pobre. Fue muy lento y parecía que el personal tiene una actitud muy relajado. Los clientes no vienen primero. Ten sólo aceptan efectivo.

The Nihaari over here is on point. It is a very difficult dish to get right and to taste correctly. But Aladin's Kebabish does it so well all the time. Have a Nihaari craving or a haleem craving, this is the place to go!!!

Tardamos 15 minutos en orden, entonces le pedí al camarero que recomendar un plato ya que queríamos algo desi. A lo que respondió la artesanía auténtica cordero. Por £12 que me dieron un plato lleno de salsa lleno de huesos y unos 4 piezas de cordero. ! ! ! Absolutamente ridículo! ! ! Esta es la primera y última visita. Servicio de atención al cliente cero, no te molesta cualquier comentario

Delicious food. Everything is worth trying. Especially the Haleem, Nihari, Palak chicken, bhuna gosht, biryani and daal. 5*

Excelente comida asiática, desde mixed grill halal a nihari, panes Nan y platos de arroz.

Came here to eat halwa puri and it was acceptable however we were waiting well over an 45 mins for food to arrive. Very disappointed for a small establish that's only opened 4 days ago.

Kebaberia muito boa em Londres. Kebabs com ótimo custo benefício e com produtos de boa qualidade. Recomendo.

The food was ok, biryani was nice, quantity wasn't sufficient enough but I think nihari is a bit over rated.

Love this place, decor is basic, staff are friendly, owner is great and the food is fab, Pakistani home style cooking at its best! Lovely soft fresh naan, great haleem and Karachi chicken korma like no other in UK, no cream and medium spicing....delicious.

Had eaten there twice, nice bunch of staff, good food, portions are good too. Haleem is recommended. Every thing is freshly made.

If you like lamb nihari, don't look further. The best nihari you could get anywhere in UK is this place. Even better than you get from lahore or karachi.

Was chatting with one of my colleague about Nihari and thats when he mentioned name of Aladin's Kebasish. Didn't take us much time to plan for a lunch. Ordered Nihari and Nan. Loved the food... and planning second trip with more folks next week to try Haleem and Paya. Love the taste and would love to go again. Don't think I will order anything else other than these 3... maybe a Biryani.

I am completely addicted to their Haleem and Nihari. Everything I've tried on the menu is bursting with flavour. Unbeatable comfort food. Delicious!
