I wanted to try something that wasn't a big chain store off the beaten track, and this was definitely it , so close to Arndale shopping centre, it was pretty quiet at half one on a Monday afternoon. I sat in and the guy suggested what was best. I had the vegan chicken doner wrap and it was amazing, it was juicy and tasty. I asked for half to be wrapped for me cause it was so stuffed. Definitely get your money's worth and absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

I always try to call in on Little Aladdin when I am in Manchester - their rice and three curries is always a fantastic lunch option, delicious food and such good value. My son (vegan) and I dropped in for lunch on bank holiday Monday, and, (as always at Little Aladdin) enjoyed the wonderful curries on offer: lentil dhal, chickpea, aubergine/potato and okra, accompanied by amazing fresh samosas and onion bhajis. Looking forward to going back asap!

We had a spare hour before a concert so popped in here , the owner advised us on the best deal so we had three curries and rice which was more than sufficient . We were feeling greedy so had bhajis which were the biggest I've ever had and were very tasty. It's a tiny basic place but a fantastic place for a quick meal.

My favourite vegan café. I always have the rice and three, and I've never been disappointed. When I worked in Manchester, I ate here at least twice a week. Whenever I visit now, I make a point of eating here. Six different vegan curries to choose from; I have the dhal, spinach, and one other from what's available. I know the samosas are delicious, too. I love this place. Cheers, Dave W.

This small vegan cafe is a hidden gem in Manchester! Me and my mum were wandering through Northern Quarter in a late afternoon after visiting the city - looking for somewhere to eat that wasn’t a pub or a cocktail bar as we were getting a train not long after. Aladdins place was like a mirage in a desert oasis! Amazing vegan options + friendliness and kindness! We got some homemade vegan brownies and a chai tea and some vegan kebab wraps to take away - everything was absolutely delicious! Plus my phone was nearly dead and I needed to plug it in and I was helped straight away!!! Couldn’t recommend enough!! Grazie mille :)

I was intrigued by an Indian restaurant which catered so well for vegans, so ordered takeaway from these guys; unfortunately, I don't know if it's different staff making the takeout food, but it was honestly some of the worst Indian food I have ever tasted. I got a mushroom and potato curry, and one would half expect it to taste of whatever had been used to flavour the vegetables, but it just tasted like spicy mushroom water, unbelievably bland and flavourless, and rather watery in texture. On top of that, the onion bhajis were soggy and undercooked, more or less tasting like onion batter, and the "naan bread" was sticky, overly sweet and completely the wrong texture to be a naan. Unlikely to order from here again, highly disappointed by the standard of food here.

This place has quite cleverly rebranded as a totally vegan spice cafe in the Northern Quarter. It is worth a visit if you are either vegan or veggie (the latter group will not get dairy produce or eggs here of course), or if you are a carnivore and you fancy a day off and a meat-free meal. Within the Northern Quarter there are many spice cafes around, and indeed a couple of the best are within walking distance of Little Aladdin.

Came across this really small cafe by pure chance whilst venturing through the quays. The owner was hidden at the very back of the eatery in the kitchen, and the menu was above you high on the wall. The layout, although small, was filled with benches, so in essence, you can eat inside, but I think it's mainly kept busy by the takeaway crowd. We were not expecting anything much in quality, as the prices were extremely reasonable, that said we were both taken aback to how enjoyable the currys were. What I can recall was that each day, the menu has different currys on offer, vegetarian included also. The owner is also the cook and seems to spend her time preparing and serving the food, which I suspect is all pre-made earlier that day or night before, put into various containers, placed in fridges and the rice, chips and chapati is made whilst you wait. In conclusion, it was really a nice establishment, food was delicious and we will come back again when next up North. Opens every day at 11.30 - 8 pm, closed on a Sunday.

I've lived around the corner for years and have never been. As is the case with most eateries in Chorlton. But recently visited multiple times as we were do impressed on the first visit. Everything here is cooked from scratch on order and right in front of you by seasoned chefs, if you stick around to watch (although would recommend a pint in Fell whilst you wait!). There is an extensive menu to choose from and the food is bang full of flavour, not greasy, service comes with a smile (as well as recommendations to pallette) and prices super reasonable. Can't recommend more highly!

Very old, very dirty, dingey, the food was beyond disappointing, the waiters were friendly but the food is maybe the worst I've ever tried in any restaurant. Flavourless, old, low quality and the price is ridiculously high for this kind of quality. I went here as the reviews made it sound really nice but it was a total waste of money and I would highly recommend you avoid this place. I can't imagine this place has a hygiene rating of more than 1. There are much better Nepalese restaurants in the vicinity, don't waste your time or money. When we got there we saw a family leave with alot of food barely touched, I thought they weren't hungry but should've realised that was a bad sign that the food was awful.
