AL-Hyderabadi Biryani & Grill Hayes in Hillingdon

I had an extremely disappointing and unsafe experience at Al-Hyderabadi Biryani and Grill, Hayes. I ordered lamb haleem takeaway for iftar, but shockingly, I found a chicken bone in it. I have a severe allergy to chicken, and after consuming it, I suffered itching, fever, and throat irritation. This is not just carelessness—it’s a serious food safety risk. When I went to the restaurant to report the issue, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, the owner was extremely rude, used abusive language, and created a scene. This level of customer service is unacceptable, especially when a mistake like this could have had life- threatening consequences. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dining here, especially if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.

I recently had a takeaway biriyani and chilly chicken, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was far below expectations. The dishes lacked flavor, were poorly presented, and seemed as if they were hastily prepared. Given the price, I expected much better quality. The service was equally disappointing. Our server seemed disinterested and inattentive, and when we asked for assistance, the response was cold and unhelpful. The overall atmosphere felt rushed and impersonal, which made the dining experience even worse. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal and proper service. There are plenty of other places that offer much better quality and hospitality.

I had the worst dining experience of my life at Al-Hyderabadi. I ordered their chicken dish, and to my horror, it was completely undercooked. The chicken was raw and pink in the middle, which is not only disgusting but also a serious health hazard. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they were completely unapologetic and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue, they tried to blame me for "not understanding how it’s supposed to be cooked." Are you kidding me? Undercooked chicken is a basic food safety violation, and their lack of accountability is appalling. To make matters worse, the rest of the meal was equally disappointing. The flavors were bland, the portions were small, and the prices were way too high for the quality. The service was slow, and the staff seemed more interested in arguing than solving the problem. I left feeling frustrated and disgusted. Al-Hyderabadi clearly doesn’t care about their customers or food safety. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of better options out there.

Had a grate time in the restaurant with Abdul mazeed Shaik and Mohammed mujeeb bhai. Amazing biryani and Haleem was delicious the Karack chai was very good.

I had idli vada sambar for the breakfast options at Al-Hyderabadi, it was authentic Indian flavours and taste… I recommend this place to everyone who wants to have good breakfast. Unlike brunch at 11 or 12, here in Al-Hyderabadi it’s breakfast at 8!!!!!

Arrived at the place, just about to close and the service was excellent from manager with glasses as he recommended me to try lamb mandi spicy. As I was hungry and never try it before, I gave it ago. I would definitely would be returning back as mandi hit the spot 10/10. One Lamb shank but enough for one My second return 24/01/25 returning with my brother as I had high hopes and It was my dinner before my nightshift. I put the same order in as last time for lamb Mandi spicy and keema naan, salad and ask to may for extra lamb as I didn’t want extra rice as it’s enough rice in a portions and I demanded to pay extra as it will be feeding two people. I was told don’t worry will put in extra lamb and it will 35 mins wait as it’s prepared freshly. Which I didn’t mind, I came back after 30 mins, they didn’t even what I ordered. I waited another 20 mins for my food which I still didn't mind. Now I’m getting late for work, I have received my food I ask to confirm extra lamb has been added, told me yes it has. Soon as I get home start to eat, there was ONE lamb piece which's is smaller then first time I ordered, which was between two of us. I’m soo disappointed as I suggested this to my brother. food is good but if your lamb portion is going get smaller and not listening to customer which wishes to pay extra for more lamb. Very disappointed

Place have a great ambience and the owners and staff are friendly. Ordered lamb mandi, based on recommendation from staff. It was below average. 1- the rice used was not sella long grain basmati , you see for mandi rice. Its just normal basmati used to cook biriyani. 2- the rice was not cooked properly, it was so hard. 3- lamb piece had lot of fat, but it was okay. Portion size is also okay. Rice was the major issue, as it lacked flavour and should have been cooked properly. It felt as if cooked instantly, like you do for chinese rice items. And you dont expect cashew ans corriander leaves in mandi. Not very cheap as well. You pay 13 pound for a portion Overall its like modifief to satisfy the indian customers. Have good scope in making it better. Good luck

Such an authentic Hyderabadi Cuisine. The Lamb Biriyani was amazing! I wolfed down two plates in no time. Biriyanis and Mandis are a must-try, no questions asked. Also met Abdul Majeed bhai from Hyderabad, heard he has got four other branches in the UK. Thanks to Sanu for recommending me this place.

Just came to the restaurant by accident as I was going through the route to catch the tube train. Found out a hidden gem I would say, the chicken biryani is simply best!!! Definitely recommend it....

The restaurant in hayes Al hydraybadi gril i ordered from them couple of days ago and while eating found a small Hair in the food. I throw it away immediately and then wrote a google review stating my experience. I didn't use any bad language I just said that I found a hair in the food and that i have concerns about the restaurant cleanliness. The manager basically called me a liar. Then called me (he got my number from uber and kept insisting that I'm lying so I finally hung up on him. They sent me this message "For putting our reputation down and saying false things about our restaurant without any evidence, we'll be taking legal action against you. " so I threatened to sue them for harassment if they call me again. Do they have any legal ground here? And what should I do next? So this is my third time writing the review Rude and dirty place dont eat here

Staff was the definition of rude. No customer service. The attitude of the staff members was horrible. At first I didn’t think much of it as I have just come to eat my meal but as my food came I noticed my chicken was burnt. I tried to eat it not trying to be a pain and understand situations as I previously worked in a restaurant. But the chicken was inedible and therefore I spoke to a member of staff if they could change it for me. I approached in a calm tone and the workers started speaking Urdu talking rubbish about me. Not knowing I understood the language. After a few words back and forth a member of staff from the back attempted to hit me but I just managed to get out in time. I highly recommend not going here.

The ambiance was terrible with employees giving bad looks that created an uninviting atmosphere. To make matters worse, the service was notably poor, with prolonged waiting times and an inattentive staff. It seemed as though our server was preoccupied and disinterested in providing a satisfactory dining experience to people of my colour. However, the most significant concern was the blatant disregard for hygiene. The condition of the shop was outright appalling, raising serious doubts about the cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas. The young Asian male who served me was caught picking his nose before serving another customer which caused a scene whilst I was waiting for my food. This made me want to leave the shop but they demanded payment first and didn’t want to refund me. I wasn’t in the mood to cause a hassle so I ended up writing this review so it can show others what this business is like and hopefully is worth more than receiving my refund. Regrettably, the quality of the food was no better. The chicken was lacking in flavor, and appeared to be reheated and poorly presented. It was clear that attention to detail was sorely lacking in the kitchen. Considering the multitude of concerns, it is with a heavy heart that we cannot recommend this establishment. Until significant improvements are made in terms of cleanliness, service, and food quality, it would be best to steer clear of this shop.

Al haydrabadi Biryani and grill Ltd on 2 Clayton road hayes. I have order £30 worth of food and the chicken I have received was totally burnt which could cause serious health problems. On my complaint restaurant owner got upset and refused to replace the chicken. All food gone in the bin because everything was poorly prepared. Very poor customer service, poor quality and tasteless food. No more food from them.
