The Gardeners Arms in Hillingdon

An extremely delightful little pub with warm atmosphere and great service. The food was on point, everything was freshly prepared and delicious to eat and there was a hearty selection of ales and beers on tap. A pub I'd highly recommend going out of your way to visit especially with a few friends.

Great little pub. They have a car park, but it is small. They also have an extensive menu, which is mainly Indian, but also has burgers, wings etc. You can play darts and pool. The toilets are clean and the pub is tidy and well organised. A great place for groups mid week. They are also dog friendly.

Food is amazing here, staff are friendly and helpful and is very family friendly

Travelled down for a school reunion aand the atmosphere was great and the freshly cooked Indian food was delicious qs was the staff

Real good pub. Drinks prices are very reasonable - apart from the Spoons I’d say it’s the cheapest place to drink in Uxbridge. Has pool table & darts. I usually go to the monthly rock night (last Sat of each month) it’s always a great night! They deserve a later license, people would party there much later. It’s always safe - no trouble or fights.

As always, Rock Night was a HUGE success. Dani, Adam, and Matt are AWESOME! The staff are as always fantastic and put up with us ROCKERS and MOSHERS brilliantly. If you are into Goth, Leather,Lace, or are even young or old, and love music, MOB Rocknight, the last Saturday or every month, is the place to be!

Great place to stop for a drink and lunch. Up the hill from stop 6 on the Celedine Route. Tables and chairs out the front and in the back. Very full and big chilli paneer and chicken wraps were delicious and good value. Even serve tea and coffee for those who don't want an alcoholic drink. Friendly and helpful barman.

Food is good, not many options but the mix grill was nice. Beer selection only has the basics. Overall a friendly place.

I only popped in for a poo, so I can't comment on the food or drinks, but the atmosphere seemed nice.

Food was ok but heavy metal disco which spoiled evening would never come back again pub has been ruined.

Nice to have a local traditional indian pub round the corner that does some awesome food!!! Reasonable prices too.

The Lanlord is very hospitable,and very friendly the atmosphere in the pub is buzzing and very busy. The food is really awsome,its the best pub ive been to in a long time, definitely the best pub in Uxbridge. 5 star

What a great find! Food is amazing and incredible prices. Don't be put off by the slightly wonky chalk board menu, the grub is more than value for your pennies. Its Fresh and plentiful. I would love to say it needs a re-furb and a dust but NO!! do not change...it's perfect the way it is. Played darts, pool, games machine, listened to the duke box and watched Dad's Army over in the corner where the cosy settee is. Staff and atmosphere was very friendly. Bar prices as they should be for a pub. A real fun and friendly mid week treat. Well done Gardeners! We will return...

Excellent boozer, tasty food ( you have to try the mixed kebab roll or butter chicken) very reasonably priced, friendly staff & clientele.... proper old school pub.

A good all round local Public House Serves good Beer Great food all at decent prices. Good atmosphere small car park at the rear of pub. Bar games like Pool and Darts and a great jukebox if you want to listen to a few tracks whilst enjoying a Drink. Small beer garden with benches outside front of pub. Is Located on a very busy road so keep an eye on your kids if they come along. Gets quite busy in the summer evenings and also a regular crowd in the winter months.

Darts, pool, sky sports and 3.25 a pint already had me sold. I was dubious about ordering a curry as it was so cheap (£6) but when it came out it was fantastic, big naan bread and tasty cuts of chicken and bursting with flavour. I'm staying nearby for a week and i will be returning, I only wish I had a pub like this near me.

It's a fairly standard pub beer and ale have a decent selection but very little in the way of ciders food reminds me of school fayre (in terms of burgers) but are reasonably priced

A good curry and pint for under £10. Good selection on the jukebox, plus a pool table and darts board.

Good curry at a good price. Music inside is a bit too loud, so prefer to sit outside. Too many drunk people at this pub.

Over the years going to an Indian Restaurant and having a beer has become the norm. The Gardeners Arms pub offers things the other way round with variety of interesting Indian dishes served alongside your pint. Greeting - 9/10 Upon entry I receive cheers from the locals and a "hello what can I get you?" from the staff. Orders are always taken promptly and the service was neither rushed nor tardy. Food- 10/10 My fellow diners have always spoken highly of the food with the chicken tikka roll being the locals favourite closely followed by a selection of curry's. Chicken is freshly cooked in a traditional tandoori oven grilling to a crisp perfection but still retaining succulent flavours. Special diets (gluten free, vegan to name a couple) are well catered for and special requests adhered to Drink - 9/10 To wash this down, there is a reasonable beer selection and also (well cellared) ales on draught. VK's are always well stocked when required for table slides and Dart To Foot. Signage - 8/10 Beer prices and offers clearly displayed with the full menu on a chalk board by the bar. Lacking neon though. Entertainment 10/10 Jukebox has any song under the sun on it. My only minor gripe is when Robson and Jerome are played on the jukebox but the barman will turn it down if asked. Banter-full games of darts and pool can be had as well as the necking of a pint while viewing the array of sports channels. Overall - 9/10 Thoroughly recommended as a pub or an eating place. Do give it a try.

Old style pub on main road, two bars fairly un-modernised. Big screen and pool table. Small seating area out front. Curry-style food menu. Close to Uxbridge Cricket Club & Sports Centre. Courage beers - not much of interest for ale drinker, but good place for the lager/cider fans. Nice staff.
