Al Forno Cafe in Watford

I popped into this dusty cafe to buy a sandwich, as I was at the railway arms opposite, the men who I assume work here as they were sat there all afternoon, did not even look up from what they were doing to ask if I needed help, on the counter were two poor looking croissants on a cake stand and absolutely nothing else! The fridge was full of cold drinks! Anyway I left as staff are rude or maybe it was because I was a woman and thought it was beneath them to ask if there was anything I wanted. The place is filthy how it scraped 3 stars on hygiene is beyond me, I wouldn't have given it -3 stars! Do not expect to get food here! Probably a front for something else!

This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star! Regardless whether the food is good or not, I didn’t want to find out. The customer service was absolutely abysmal! Went there with my Deaf elderly friend for a coffee and a bite to eat. The man that served us was rude and abrupt. When I asked where was our coffee was, he yelled at me stating that he was working alone and was very stressed. There were only 2 other gentleman in there, and I was completely appalled. When I told him that I my Deaf elderly friend was just asking, he said that we had no manners. I told him that it was not our fault that he was working on his own and that he should apologise for being so rude. He then yelled again saying he will not say sorry to us. No customer service skills whatsoever!

Friend took me here for some lunch - before we progressed to the local beer festival. Great little place, pizza was gorgeous and being made fresh made it even better, Staff were so helpful and friendly. Its a tiny place, but has a big heart. Very Good

Vine aquí con mi hijo para desayunar y pedí un salami y queso mozzarella panini y lo que salió fue absolutamente increíble! ! ! Era más como un calzone pero realmente ligero y mullido bastante pesado en todo! no ! Mejor panini que he tenido! !

La comida muy buena, perfecta ubicación y precios razonables! Si vives por la zona bushey debes verlo!

He estado visitando este maravilloso café. Las pizzas son preciosas, baguettes y el café son seductores es la mejor en Watford. El personal es muy amable y servicial, y es simplemente genial. Muy buena relación calidad-precio! Ojalá que abrieron sus puertas hace años.

Very nice coffee and lovely fresh food it is a place to visitors just next to Bushey station open early morning for coffee

I love this place, the pizza is tasty, authentic and very reasonably priced. They are also open in the mornings and it's a perfect location for grabbing a take away tea/coffee and a pastry before jumping on the train. I would highly recommend the pain au raisin - home made and still warm when I purchased this morning at 8am. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Check it out- you won't be disappointed!!
