Alhamdulillah, very good restaurant, reminded me of Morocco. Service was also really good.

Driver was asking for "delivery code", no idea about it.Nothing in my app - which was showing that the food is on it's way. Driver wanted to return my order.I don't know if he was new, or just eat app is not working properly. Really frustrating to see how someone is waving your food in front of your eyes, while you are hungry after one long day of work.Meantime the food is getting cold also, no thermal bag.I had to fight for my food like a lion in the jungle with the incompetent driver!

Disappointing. Used to love Al Bader but sadly it is not the same anymore. Food was very bland, no flavour at all.

Ordered the mix grill, very small portions so bear in mind if you have a big appetite, some of the salad wasn’t very fresh. Chilli sauce watery. Service was friendly though.

Hands down the best restaurant in Coventry and literally a hidden gem. Food is amazing, excellent customer service and the menu is very reasonably priced. Worth a try, magical atmosphere.

Surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening, slow service with only one member of staff in front of house. Food was lovely and plentiful, and was great value at £38 for 2 of us. Restaurant doesn't have a drinks license and only takes cash... good job there is a cashpoint nearby.

Prawns were lovely! All really fresh tasting will definitely order again.

Food great as usual and delivery driver graciously waited for 10 mins since my mother was in the shower and I was out, so could not immediately answer the door. Much appreciated!

A very good restaurant and deserves more than five stars

It was a nice experience. The food was delicious. I did order a knafeh dessert and whilst it was nice it wasn’t to the same standard that I’m used to from other restaurants. Since we were a group the seating arrangement was decent however I think it could do with a bit of tlc. They also take cash only or online bank transfer. Otherwise I would recommend if you’re looking for some Moroccan food in town

Good points - grateful for a healthy takeaway as I stay away a lot with work. Fast delivery. Bad points - moussaka was very watery and bland, lamb tagline was very watery and bland although lamb was nice. Didn’t eat a lot. Rice was decent. I defo wouldn’t try these dishes again and next time I’m here I might try the mixed grill dish as lots of ppl giving good reviews. I’m now going to brewers fair for a steak for tea 😟

Healthy, very tasty and freshly cooked. Also, generous portions - can order the cake and ice-cream together and share between two. One suggestion: maybe some vegetable side dishes on the menu (as an option to go with all the rice and meat)?

We ordered following items. Al- Bader's Special Steak: Was good. Recommended Chicken wings charcoal grill: Didn't met the expectation. Pros: 1) Spacious 2) Lot of food options Things I felt need improvement are: 1) Ambience: Lights looks good but clothing on walls and sofa looks old and lazily maintained. 2) Restaurant accepts only cash and this is a major limitation considering the fact that cards are accepted almost all place these days.

Fantastic lamb shank and wraps. Everything fresh, delicious and authentic. Highly highly recommended! The lamb shank with rice is a huge portion, comes with piece of carrot and couple potatoes, you can find pieces of garlic and a bit of chickpeas- makes it look so homey and rustic. The wraps are a perfect snack - packed with flavour, so much meat and salad. Just yum!

Unfortunately, the experience with the meal was deeply disappointing. The rice was stale, tasting old and lacking freshness, while the meat failed to meet expectations, falling short of the anticipated standards. The meal was ordered specifically to break a fast, yet it left the entire family unsatisfied and disappointed. Overall, it was a regrettable experience that did not live up to expectations would give it less than one star if i could.

Great halal food tucked away off the High St. Reasonable prices and huge portions. Especially liked the kibbeh which they make in-house rather than buying in frozen. Very friendly service

My family and I ate dinner here and we had a variety of dishes. Everyone was very, very happy with the food. Each dish was really well made and we all agreed we’d love to come back here again. We finished every dish as a group. Also loved the relaxing atmosphere. Dont listen to the negative reviews, you really don’t want to miss this place.

Ordered Lamb tagine and bread for friday dinner from this Lebanese style restaurant. Honestly,I had high expectations from this popular Moroccan dish which didn't met fully tbh.I was trying this dish for the first time and the taste was little Sweet and tangy. Bread was traditional roti (bread) served in Morocco.Would have to try some more dishes from the menu to make my review a complete one.Its a tentative 4.Price for the lamb tagine is 12.9£,so it's not cheap by any means.Lamb meat was cooked well and some vegetables are also in the gravy along with few pieces of semi dry plum, pieces of dry fruits.Portion is enough for one person.

The chicken was bland and tasteless. was saved by Nando’s sauce, chips were too salty. Rice was plain and food was cold.

All good but our chicken shawarma had some smell

Best falafel in the city! Right in the middle of town but dinning room away from the hustle and bustle in town, with typical decor. Love-seat style benches for cosy dinning or usual table setting.

The food was great, love the hummus, the lamb was cooked perfectly, and the chicken shawarma is super tender. Do bring some cash, since they only accept cash payment. Cash machine located in front of the alley.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for some time as i often go into Coventry and I love both Lebanese and Moroccan food. As a British/Moroccan myself, I really enjoyed the lamb tagine I was served here. The flavours were spot on and it was very warming. The only downside is that they are cash only, and there are several cash machines nearby, but it would be better if they got a card machine. Despite this, I'd definitely go back here again.

Love the private rooms. Love the menu items. Love the platters. Just don’t go late at night or the rice granules will get stuck in your throat because of how dry it is. Still love this place though.

Consistently good quality food, although it would do with some extra pictures for some dishes so we can be clearer on what some of them are. One of the dishes (not tajine) came as a soup/stew which wasn't obvious from the descriptions and no picture to help. It was nice enough - but I will likely be equally lost as to what is what when I come to reorder a few months later.

I’ve had a few deliveries as gave them a chance to see if it was a one off. Each time the quality was so bad especially with the prices they charge. This time the food was cold and lamb chops over cooked. How do you get away with ripping us off???

The kids didn’t enjoy the food, the chicken was too dry, the rice had a strong smell of cloves coming from it, the chicken thigh was a little under cooked. I don’t think I’ll order again.

Just had a fantastic time there, we came with my daughter and with a friend for a meal and chat, could not wish a better place for it. We had starters as falafel, cheese rolls and moussaka and and for main we all had a chicken shish tavouk with rice and fries and soft drinks as they don’t serve an alcohol. All came fresh quickly and was very tasty. Also we finished a meal with Moroccan green tea which was lovely. Really liked the decor and nice middle eastern music played on background. Staff was friendly and attentive, we will come back again.

My favourite Middle Eastern cuisine restaurant in the area is a lovely quiet restaurant and the food is always tasty and very filling.

Consistent quality of the meal for 3 mix. Falafel didn't taste like they were made right before the order was packed and they were a bit bitter this time. Everything was packaged really well as always.

I loved the food and style. I just wanted a bigger portion. But the taste is very good 💯. The staff are very friendly. The meal in the picture (kofta with rice) costs £10 in may 2023.

Eastern Mediterranean meets its western tip in this lovely place serving a lush selection of Lebanese and Moroccan foods. The boss chef says his wife inspired him half of the menu. It's interesting to find out which half. The Lamb Shank is the best in town. The mezza is full of freshness and the bread is very satisfying. I admire every younger customer who could eat the generous helping of roasted chicken served in gigantic plates. The restaurant entrance is in a quiet courtyard off the High Street. A couple of pots of olive tree could enlighten its atmosphere even more, if they could sustain Coventry winters.
