SubhanAllah we are muslim and want to avoid fitnah, my sister even returned her soup to you. And yes ofcourse I ate your food, I was starving having driven three hours from london. Ofcourse I ate your food and out of courtesy I wanted to eat it and pay for your service. If I didn't like it that's what I'm entitled to say. Like I said sometimes your food is nice and others it isn't. And the last two times I have been having driven from London straight to your restaurant I have been disappointed. Please don't get offended and respond in the most aggressive way possible. Im allowed to give my honest opinion behind a screen and out of awkwardness I did not do it to your face like you are requesting. I now wish I never eat your food and told you to your face and left without paying for your time and effort in cooking that meal. ORIGINAL POST: This is the second time I've come here and got disappointed. Twice in a row. Having travelled from London aswell. It's like a hit or a miss. I ordered chicken tfaya, they only served it with raisins like what happened to the onions? That the whole point why I wanted it, or I should of been informed atleast so I could change my order. I paid £14 for chicken tfaya cous cous meal, and the amount of chicken inside was awfully small, like why even serve that? The plate was loaded with couscous and no meat. It's a shame to say I won't be returning as the food has just gone downhill.

was scammed by this restaurant. I placed an order, but it was rejected. When I spoke to the server, the communication was poor, and atterward, the restaurant canceled my order. The staff needs to learn how to speak with customers; she hung up while I was still talking shame on you And I didn’t get money back

It is the best Moroccan family run restaurant in Birmingham, I was with my husband going to another restaurant and in the last min we saw this restaurant on google maps, it was closer to us then the one we wanted to go too. We didn’t regret our decision and actually enjoyed our meal. Good portion sizes good price and full of flavour on every bite. Will go again when we go to Birmingham again.

Very rude staff, I came with my family 6 people, I ordered hot milk, they told me, with the insolent word "we don't have hot milk, we can't serve it to you" , imagine a restaurant where they can't make hot milk at breakfast, plus in the toilets, they don't even have something to dry our hands when I asked, they said: we don't we don't have. They have no experience with customer contact You can see how they responded to my review without apologizing for hearing this…. I told you ruuuude is ruuude The Moroccan people are hospitable, especially during Ramadan. If you feed breakfast to a fasting person, you will receive Ajr from allah .... This restaurant doesn't represent Moroccans unfortunately I don't recommend going to this restaurant 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Have been to this restaurant for many time over the years, family run restaurant, always warm welcome with excellent food. Authentic Moroccan food, especially the Tagine. We enjoyed the family size Chicken Tagine which need to order in advance, it give you taste of Morocco. Of course the regular one also great, the Lamb Tagine with plums, Chicken Tagine, it’s good go with breads. Mixed grill always on the top of the list as well as Chicken Kofta. To taste of Moroccan, Morocco Mint Tea and Coffee half half always a good choice.

They have become extremely overpriced, two simple wrap meals for £14!!! Definitely not worth it. They also took over half an hour to prepare our food and it was a small order. I don’t recommend and definitely won’t be going there again 👎

Hidden little gem! Drive past this place nearly everyday and didn’t even know it exist until a friend mentioned it. Have to say food was 9/10 and the mint tea was a 10/10! Give it a try!

Had iftaar during Ramadan and was impressed with everything. The interior takes you to an authentic Moroccan restaurant with a homely vibe to it. The food should be ordered in advance as some of the dishes on their menu take a long time to prepare and you'll want to try all their dishes. The taste of the food is amazing, you can taste it's authenticity and home-cooked flavour at the same time. The service is great, especially for a family run restaurant and they were working while they should have been breaking their fast 💜 10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants a taste of Morocco at a good price

I regularly order the chicken and vegetables Couscous dish, hands down the best and tastiest I've had so far, I've tried a few other moroccan food places, but this one tops all of them by far!

Came with the family, the place takes you to a traditional Moroccan restaurant. Decor is amazing although a little cold. The service was incredible and the food was absolutely delicious. The lamb tagine, and mix grill were amazing. Even the kids chicken burger was tasty and handmade. Will definitely be coming back. Parking is a little issue. The Moroccan mint tea is so authentic and beats others hands down, near identical to Morocco.

Good small.local restaurant. They can open a bit earlier especially if they have breakfast on the menu. 11am is much too late. Phone/mobile never get answered. Food is great though.

I used to order from this restaurant, unfortunately they don't do deliveries anymore so I decided to go with little one. Great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff and obviously food is very tasty and freshly prepared. Highly recommended!

The best Moroccan restaurant in the UK and most probably in the world! The quality of service and the family vibes inside the restaurant makes it very cozy and nice. Beautiful place with beautiful people and nice traditional and authentic recipes from Morocco. I definitely recommend it to anyone willing to taste Moroccan food. No need to go to Marrakech! Marrakech is in Birmingham now!!

Had a Morrocan lunch here with a few brother's and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken couscous was perfectly cooked, the lamb and plum tagine is a must try something new I never had before. The mint chai was the icing on the cake. A small family based business. As soon as you walk in proper hospitable and you feel relaxed. A proper back home style vibe inside and you can zone off away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. A hidden gem!

The First Moroccan Restaurant I Have Been In & I Can Tell You That It Was Amazing. The Food Was Delicious With A Great Moroccan Theme.

The food is delicious and fresh and the service is great. My favourite dishes from here are: Foul Mudammas, Zaalouk, Chicken or Lamb Tagine. The breakfast menu is good too, eating in that is.

Came her for breakfast at 12pm. Had an egg tagine, fes breakfast and msamin. Food was sooo delicious. Although it was egg but it was hot for a long time so your first taste was the same as your last! Each meal comes with morrocan mint tea which just sealed the gorgeous taste of the meal. Would definitely come again with friends and highly recommend it. The decor is very simple so don't let that underestimate the taste of the food, the flavours just take it to another level. This is definitely a hidden gem.

Highly recommended, very delicious food. Hand cooked fresh so please don't mind the wait as it is worth waiting for. if you want lamb dishes ring in before hand they will prepare it for you.

Have visited this place on a couple of occasions, opted for the lamb and chicken tagine and a mixed grill. The tagine is ok but can be quite dry depending on the day. The mixed grill on the two occasions tasted wildly different which was disappointing, they do however prepare fresh salad for each order which is a nice touch and the mint tea is also of a good standard. Customer service can improve, staff seem angry all the time. They only accept cash but you can do a bank transfer if you ask.

Amazing food, we had lamb skewers and beef tagline, medium spice.

Good food, service is soo bad, had bad experience, hair in the food, told him descretely and took kindness for weakness. The owner is rude and I just paid out of respect for my elders as it's not big hit in my pockets. If he even acknowledged the issue I still wouldn't ask for refund or to make the food again.

Authentic moroccan food, small family owned restaurant. had lamb couscous and chicken olives tajine both very tasty, and the fresh bread as well is yummy. Will be back to try their breakfast from 11am. If you want a pastella, go after 1pm.

Most authentic morrocan food in birmingham and trust me i've tasted all the others before managing to find the real deal Morrocan food without needing to catch a plane and the service is the best too as a very well family run business so they know how to treat people unlike other businesses who only care about what goes in the till.
