Great taste,food was warm at best had to put I microwave, will not order again

disappointed. food overcooked and cold .. naan was not even warm like it had been cooked some time ago. curry was only half a tray. We had to reheat everything. starter was chewy and not freshly cooked, onion bajee poor. We haven't ordered take away from here in a while and have been customers for years. The poor food spoilt our evening. Will never order from here again. Feeling sad and let down.

Great food served fast, they complied with a few adjustments without any problem. Went there with family visiting from Ireland who hadn't been to Akash in 30 years and they said it was as great as they remember. Friendly staff, definitely the best dinner you'll get along the Pershore road!

Another delicious meal from Akash ! Tbf been going and having deliveries from them for years now and wouldn't even consider changing.some places charge at least double price and use frozen tasteless cubes of chicken but with akash they pride themselves on quality and that is exactly what you get.proper soft tasty chicken breadt that melts in your mouth.if you haven't tried this place you should as I know you won't be disappointed and won't look back 😋

Had a fabulous takeaway tonight, not had one in a while, still gorgeous, full of flavour, arrived quickly and piping hot. Loved it.

Been coming here for many years with my family and friends. They have new dishes out including Duck Dish which is one of my favourites .It is the Tawa Hash Nawabi which is fantastic. Highly recommended. Great customer service ,always friendly clean and cosy. Rated 5star hygiene.

Came up from Eastbourne to visit Cadbury World wanted try some indian/Bangladeshi food. Amazing chicken tikka garlic chilli. Father and son very friendly and accommodating! And clearly have a repeating customer base! We definitely will definitely come again when back up this way.

Decent amount of meat in the curries although all were lukewarm and needed to be reheated. Nice fluffy rice, and naan but the poppadoms were stale. Fast delivery.

We just stumbled across this indian as we was visiting bermingham as I love a indian and this must be the best I've come across food and service second to none the staff absolutely spot on very friendly and this indian as been running 60yrs well that just speaks for its self defently will return and I highly recommend if your in bermingham looking for a indian

First time ordering from here. Curry had 4 pieces of chicken breast inside and 2 1/4 pieces of potato.. could have been more meat! But was tasty non the less. Naan wasn’t that fresh at all, rice was nice. Food wasn’t hot barely warm, arrived within 25 mins of ordering. Wouldn’t order again, there are plenty of other nice Indian restaurants in the local area to try.

If you wanna eat in, great! But that goes for most places because you don't pay until you've finished eating. Ordered tikka masala got a vindaloo! I'm not one to complain about hot food, I like hot food but I really enjoy a masala so thats what I asked for! It wasn't even the right colour to be a masala it was brown! I ended up mixing a load of cream with it and it was still blowing my head off! Not the enjoyable experience I was looking for! Really disappointed and won't be ordering again

Me and my partner come here frequently and have yet to have a meal that wasn't delicious. Between us we have tried a variety of different things on the menu and they have always been very tasty. The service is good and the prices are as well. There is also a good variety of drinks available. We will continue to be regular customers here!

In town for the cricket at Edgbaston, serindipity led us for a Balti to Akash. It's many years since I've had a Balti and it was heaven sent. Beautiful in every respect. Great service and vfm too. Durham will get promoted this season so I'm hoping we'll be back next year and I can guarantee that we'll be back to this wonderful restaurant.

Came early from estimated time which was great. Friendly delivery guy. Good portion size and lots of rice. Piping hot and tasty.

Awesome food and the staff are so polite with the owner always in attendance to ensure a warm welcome. I’ve been going here on and off for about 20 years (dependant on living location) and I’ve been having deliveries from them for about 4 years now so me and my family can vouch for this being a great restaurant overall. We recently went there with family for my sons birthday and everyone loved the food and the service was impeccable. We have at times visited Akrams down the road and there foods really good too, but it’s far more busy and not as relaxed as Akash. Also they do not deliver which Akash do within a larger area than most. Regards Scott

We’ve been using akash now for many many years. But for some unknown reason the past two times the rice has been so salty. It’s over bearing. Not sure if it’s deliberate because he forgot to charge us for a delivery we had about 4 months ago, and keeps asking for the payment cause he put in the wrong details. Or genuine mistake. So for this reason we will be not using them any more

We always get a lovely welcome from the owners and staff and the food is always very good and tasty

The food excellent and Very plentiful and good price. The starters so nice onion bahaji and kebabs brilliant nice freshly cooked. The mains chicken balti and chicken tikka masala baltis both superb the rice nan bread so good in fact all our meals fault less . Lovely atmosphere Abdul and staff so pleasant and very welcoming can't praise this place enough .

Disappointing. Normally I dont have any issues with ordering my food from here, but this time the food was luke warm, naan was rock solid, had items missing from my order. Such a shame as normally really good.

Lovely friendly restaurant, I have been eating here for years ,my favourite place to have a curry.

A Saturday night meal at Akash was just about satisfactory. Despite being nearly full, the atmosphere was sterile. The service didn’t charm, which may have contributed. My biryani was unremarkable, as was my partner’s chicken ‘Balti’. It hadn’t been cooked in the bowl it was served in, which wasn’t hot, as a balti should be. The dishes did arrive swiftly. Prices are fairly low - many around £10 - but quality lags far behind pricier places (i.e. Akram’s) in Stirchley’s balti mile. I’d curry on further south down the Pershore Road if I were you.

Definitely THE best Indian restaurant in stirchley maybe even Birmingham! Been consistent food every time, been eating from here for over 25 years and the staff and customer service has always been great! Super friendly and great food!!

We went to Akash. Great customer service. You cannot fault the food,best place we have been to for many years. Really enjoyed the food,freshly cooked. Highly recommended ,great prices. Definitely worth visiting. We will be back again

First time ordering from this place for my family. App notification indicated food was on the way, the journey should take 5 minutes, I rang at the 20 minute mark to be told that the driver was on the way. I phoned back at 35 minutes and challenged the account from staff. It transpired that the driver had gone to a similar sounding street in a different town. The food eventually was delivered 40 minutes after they said it was on the way. The food was cold. One dish was missing, a korma meaning my children had to share a dish. I rang to challenge this, the staff initially blamed the driver, but the carbonated hand written order clearly showed the wrong order had been written down. I was told the missing dish would be sent round, I did not accept the offer, it was too late to wait. I requested the refund via the app for the missing dish. I found this experience really frustrating especially given the staff appeared to dismiss my initial suggestion that the driver was unexplainable delayed. My dish, a pathia apart from having to be reheated, was decent. It’s a shame the experience was overshadowed by the shoddy service here.

Did not enjoy our food at all! The dhal was overloaded with salt it was inedible, the Goni had no taste, the meat rogan Josh was grisly and hard and the 2 Nans were flat and hard the 3rd one was ok. Wont ever order from here again!!!!! Avoid!!!
