Service was worst and staff was very rude. I visit there on 4th of November but the server spoke very rudely with us

Nice restaurant, tasty Indian food. Like it.

We had a lovely evening at lime & chilli. This is famous for live Indian music and food. A full house seems a bit cramped due to close tables. It has a separate bar and nice drink options. There is a mixed menu of vegetarians and non vegetarian dishes. As the name suggests food is a bit spicy and hot. If someone is trying to go on weekends with family and friends then kindly book a table in advance. Staff are nice and cooperative to accommodate your needs.

A place that offers Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. The place was packed and with only 3 waiters, they looked to be in a rush and confused. But they get 1 star extra for not losing their calm and still serving the customers with a smile and respect. The space is decent for 50+ guests with 2-4-6+ seating arrangements, as needed. On weekend evenings, it would be good to make a reservation to ensure you get a spot. Variety is good, taste is 85% similar to what you get in India. Indian cuisine doesn't always mean "spicy", this place understands this. Parking available in front of the restaurant.

Spices spot on. Food was hot and delicious. I don’t know where you get your soya chunks, but they are superb.

It’s a great place and we have a great time with our friend Naresh ji,and great Bollywood music on Independence Day.

First time ordered was very dissapointed they used cheap foil packaging for deserts which leaked thru into the bag they gave no cutlery eventhough it was requested I even ordered cake with ice cream when I looked at the ice ream it was literally a tablespoon in a large foil container when I called the restaurant and enquired about this I spoke to a guy who said he's name is "dips" he said they use a small scoop but when I explained this is not a scoop it's a table spoon clearly he then said its a very small scoop. I was shocked at their service standards and food quality standards I definitely will never order from that place and do not recommend it, in all fairness the guy on the phone was proffessional but that's the only possitivity about the place however it doesn't change the fact my daughter's birthday was ruined, we spent over £30 and half the food when in the bin I actually reordered from another place.

I ordered paneer tikka and after 2-3hours got food poisoning symptoms. Didnt like the food at all.

for the price the chicken Biryani comes in small container when I've ordered from other restaurants normally get large container rice container not full to the top won't be ordering from there again

Amazing place food n live entertainment Lovely singers

I ordered food from this place and it did not taste good at all. I ordered Shahi Paneer, Vegetarian Starter Platter, Dahi Bhalla, Keema Naan, Vegetable Manchurian and Hakka Noodles for my housemates and I. From this whole order, only the Manchurian was good and the other dishes were not good at all. The dahi Bhalla was semi cooked and they forgot to send the keema naan altogether. Also, were they kidding with the starter platter, it was nothing like Indian food.

My visit to Lime n Chilli was a disappointing experience. While the service was commendable, the food quality fell short of expectations. Every dish I tried was plagued by an overwhelming saltiness that overshadowed all other flavors. This is coming from someone who enjoys a little extra salt and spice, but this was particularly disappointing. The excessive use of salt detracted from the overall dining experience, leaving me craving more balance and subtlety in flavors. Despite the attentive service, Lime n Chilli's cuisine failed to impress.

So loud that the staff could not hear my order properly and sent one wrong item aswell. The lady taking the order needed us to point it out on the menu as she couldn't hear and still one sent was wrong. The manager was unapologetic about the loud music and said noone else complains. Disgusting. The birthday events should be kept in a private room and they can choose their music as they wish then. Live singers were very off tune unfortunately too. Imagine that.

The sauce was lovely, but unfortunately the meat was terrible. Not recognisable as chicken. I couldn't eat it.

Been here before a few years back and it was ok nothing to rave about. This time the food was good much better, we ordered 5 dishes and bar the keema Punjab which was clearly rushed cos the species were not there, the others were perfect. The roti unfortunately was hard and thick though the naan was spot on. Live music was great and made the evening a positive. The food thing is they have security at the door which is a big plus. Will be back again.

Probably the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had. Chicken was very dry. Onion bhajis are greasy with a strange after taste. The mint sauce that came with the poppadoms tasted off. Clearly been sent leftovers from last night.

I have booked an party in this restaurant. They provide wrost quality of food. Also the staff was not friendly. They didn’t provide us proper food. I have booked for 30 people but they provide food only for 20 people. That was very shamefull. I recommend to the restaurant owner don’t do these kind of things with your coustmers.

Not up to the usual quality of your cooking, though almost dishes were as great as always, the Aloo Gobi Mutter was a very poor main dish - a small portion of cauliflower with a few peas and no potato at all.

We visited Lime and Chilli Restaurant on Soho Road, Birmingham, last weekend. The location is perfect on the main road, easy to find and park your car. The decoration in the premises is very nice, modern, and very welcoming. The staff are of exemplary, highly customer service focused, including Mr Kuldeepbhai and Deepakbhai and the whole team. There is a very wide range of vegetarian and non-vegeterian dishes, other indo Chinese/ foreign dishes. There is a very wide range of beers and spirits all at a very reasonable price. The food is very delicious and has great quality of deserts too. There is Bolllywood music most nights and no entrance fees. We are not rushed to vacate the table as they are not money oriented kind of people. They are very supportive to all multi cultural clientele groups, and its the repeat custom , without any publicity stunt, which speaks volumes if their standards of service and customer care are. They have been awarded 5 star food award on their own merit. Best wishes, and we will definitely return for a few more regular entertaining evenings as people travel quite a distance to visit them. I got what I paid for. Fish curry was cooked perfectly. Estimated delivery time was delayed a bit but I’m not bothered about it so I said on time for delivery.

What a venue.. away from the trouble area top of soho Rd.. some parking.. been several times and never let me down.. I enjoy the starters more then the mains.. but icing is the live singers.. family atmosphere.. no drunkards.. can glady spend a few hours and be thoroughly entertained

It's a shame the waiting service is so bad! Food & entertainment is good but customer service is so bad. Untrained staff to service customers! Spilled drink on sitted customer, while other staff forgot simple serving cutlery eg spoon in food dish, tea spoons to stir tea! We had to consistently call for service for order, drinks & reminder of missing dish! Terrible service staff.

There is a live orchestra. The singer is amazing and makes the dinner very enjoyable with the melodies....

The beer has always been terrible here, but yesterday it was undrinkable. Some very bad so called singers perform here singing 70/80’s Bollywood sad songs. Can get boring. Really a place for the over 50’s

Over all the experience is good, have attended a marriage anniversary party of a friend, and coordination by staff for the event was good in the available space . Service wise also it is fine, could be better as when kids asked for extra desert, it was not served, disappointing kids.

One of The best Indian Restaurant and Pub on Soho Road, We have visited this place several times and every occasion we had fantastic time. From Food to Entertainment. Excellent staff and food to our taste. Atmosphere and Ambience is very nice. Good friendly clientele . We travel from London and Manchester for friends reunion Lime n Chill management welcome us and makes our visit comfortably. I enjoy eating and of course drinking at very reasonable price. The choice of singers are top notch. Management please give our appreciation to all your staff including Chef. Looking forward to next visit.

We always go here for family celebrations food is awesome and I can guarantee is one of the best ,I have been to every Asian place in West Midlands from Broadstreet to bullring ,so far this is the cheap and the best just love it .

Great food we ordered for 23 persons and the host Mr Deepak was very confident with delivering us the best food ,but unbelievable the food was amazing and delicious all my guests were completely satisfied with the food and the hospitality shown towards us . Surely gonna visit soon once again 👍

Disaster. 3 days food poisoning. Had lunch on Thursday. It definatelywas not the apple for breakfast. By dinnertime my guts were water. The Soho road restaurants are usually great but there is always that one spot. Sheesh. Writing this review on Sunday clenched tight.

Great place if your Asian food culture and music if you don't know people who drink there don't bother

It was one of the best experiences with my family. We had a party of 22 people for my 1 yrs old baby . We really enjoyed ands thanks to the management and the team to make all special. We will recommend and come back again.

Went for a mother's day meal and not busy at all yet the service was pretty average at best. They forgot the cake in the dessert order and tea arrived about ten minutes later and was bland. Spinach used did nt seem fresh and tinned which is odd given location of restaurant to half a dozen grocery stores. Would nt go again. Some of the food dishes decent but others very average.

Went to L&C yesterday with friends after a while. My favourite soya tikka never fails to melt my heart. Thank you for the amount of vegetarian options, great musical atmosphere and the greatest of hospitalities as always! OFCOURSE WE WILL BE BACK!

Me and my family really enjoyed the evening at lime and chilli. The service was excellent all round and the food was mind-blowing especially the cobra beers and mocktail's. First off it was nearly empty? Seated next to toilets?? Poppadoms came with no lime pickle or onion salad? The lady staff didn't understand English or didn't care! Plates for mains were freezing cold? Madras was tiny and poor quality chicken,rubbish! Prices were ok so 2 stars...Soho Tavern next time

Great if you love loud karaoke and not being able to hear anyone on your table. The food was decent though, especially the butter chicken.

Food was very tasty with veg and non veg options, but customer service was very slow .

Will never go to this restaurant again. Me and my kids fell sick after eating at this restaurant. The music was too loud, and the whole atmosphere inside the restaurant was very uncomfortable specially for kids.

This afternoon I went to this restaurant to eat lunch and It was very very Quiet Even I’m not got impressive service and there was 3 waiter and one Manager or boss I’m not sure 🤔 even they did not look after the customer There was no conversation with customers. The restaurant looks very clean and nicely decorated but it is not like the family restaurant because It was too much noise music was very very loud. I have been ordered the first PINT of CARLING I was not cold and off-gas after I did not drink that pint and I ordered a bottle of Budweiser but not cold enough 🥶 and I ordered another one was ok but not enough cold temperatures. I ordered TANDOORI POMRET Not enough marinade masala not tasty and Butter nana was very hard and thick. KADAI CHICKEN is not very tasty and I feel it was salty even if I ate it with rice 🍚 overall I decide to give it 2 stars 🌟 ⭐️ I’m hoping next time you will get the full star to try to eye contact and conversation with customers.
