The restaurant were very apologetic, but this has happened a couple of times recently which is putting me off returning. Fortunately I have a microwave as the food was lukee warm. A shame standards have dropped as the food is delicious.

The food arrived over half an hour after the latest delivery estimate (almost 90 minutes after ordering) & showed as delivered when it had not even left the restaurant. I had to chase up the restaurant to find out what had happened to my order. The food was reasonably tasty, but all of it was very mild & lacked the depth of flavour found in authentic South Asian dishes

I have been using akash for over 20 years and never disappointed, great food , great service.

Cold food rude staff never again

no delivery, nothing, no call, porch lights on to help driver... failed again, so fed up, utter rubbish, should have used uber like my friend said... just a waste of money and time, pathetic failures again and again..

Always great quality, fresh and tasty food. There is a reason Akash has been around for so many years - it’s because it’s consistently very good.

Ordered over £25 worth of food for them to deliver the wong order. Called the restaurant for them to tell me they will cook me fresh food and get it redelivered only for the food to come lukewarm. No spice like it said and overall very disappointing

Food was delicious. A little more flavour to the rice...a little less tomato in the Rogan lamb curry😁..other than that will definitely order again...😋

the food from here is always great, but delivery especially in the weekends is not so good, especially as the restaurant doesn't have driver tracking.

Everything tastes great except the butter chicken and the pilau rice. I may as well have ordered plain rice instead because there’s nothing in the pilau rice at all. It’s just all white and plain. The butter chicken is sugary? Like it’s very sweet and doesn’t taste good at all. It doesn’t have much of a butter or curry flavour so it’s not good. Really upset with the taste of those two items. The rest were actually nice

The order took 2 hours to come, said it was delivered when it wasn’t and couldn’t get any info on where the food was.

I still want to give you guys 5 stars because the food was still good. But please do not be inconsistent with the portion size and extras that you provide. The lamb tikka mains were a lot smaller this time and didn’t come with any salad. And only 1 popadom and no extra mint sauce was added when you always normally provide that as standard. I would have ordered it happily if I knew

I was a little afraid as I first time customer when the order was late and said it had been delivered but it was well worth the wait. Arrived hot. Good size portions and fresh flavourful food. I will be ordering again

unfortunately, the nanny bread I ordered did not arrive , other than that the food is to die for , so tasty

They have marked delivery time completely wrong. It finally turned up over 2.5 hours after I ordered, stone cold and wrong items sent. Won't use them again, everytime I called for an update on the delivery I was told "will be with you soon, we have limited drivers and he had many stops to make". Should really get the order refunded. Terrible experience. .

The food was stale, rubbery and clearly not freshly made just re-heated rubbish

Usually really fresh and lovely but this time the chicken was dry which suggested it was re-heated

Ordered for 7.30, and it arrived at 6.30. Fortunately I had just got home otherwise I would of missed it.

Best value for money takeaway! Food was great and amazing for the price. Originally we received the wrong order so we called up and they immediately made us up a new order and sent it for delivery - they also let us keep the first incorrect order. Would 100% recommend and will continue to order many more times!

Food was great value for money even better the discount Nan bread was missing but will sort out with restaurant next as will definitely order again.

We have had Akash so many times over the years but this time it was completely inedible. The lamb curry we ordered was just tomato paste and burnt bits of lamb our dog couldn’t even chew. There’s a reason they offered 40% off. Would not order again. If you live in the area I suggest ordering from Nazmins they are amazing!

Tandoori chicken (whole) isnt a full chicken - they give you 4 chicken legs, not as advertised. Delivery was late, they also forgot my drink. Rest of the food was decent though. Overall, disappointing.

The majority of my order was good, just one item was out of place. I ordered one stuffed Paratha which should have had vegetables with it, but I received a plain Paratha on it's own. Went to call restaurant but it had closed.

Love the food from this place but it would be so helpful if they could update the just eat app on the delivery status so I know when it is going to arrive so I can get on with stuff at home in the meantime.

Food was overall good and with the discount offered was incredible price for what was received (including a free popadom )I would say the madras was more like vindaloo but I like it spicy so not the end of the world , thanks

My go to Indian cuisine take away. Always good quality fresh hot food. I have ordered from them for many years & will continue to do so, even if there are any issues or missing items they replace immediately and are always so polite. Unfortunately the highlight was the Baltic curry, which was really tasty, but just a starter dish. The paratha was dry, as was the chappati. The biryani lacked flavour with dry chicken. The Malay was bland, although the prawns seemed fresh. All in all, the price was decent but the food was disappointing.

They forgot to deliver one of the dishes, we rang them, and they delivered it straight away. Very helpful, a good example of what to do in such circumstances. Excellent, thank you, 5 stars.

Food was an hour late. Ordered at 6pm, latest ETA 7:15 and food came at 8:15. Food was cold so had to to heat it up. Madras was really sour and too tomatoey, it didn’t have much flavour, so found it hard to eat. The paratha was dry and burnt. The samosas were soggy but tasted ok.

Pre ordered our food and it was delivered before the restaurant officially opened. Great service and great food.

Poor quality this time and food cold. Never had it bad like this before. It’s like I was served scrapings of the end of the day food that had gone cold in the pan. Had to heat it up in the microwave as it had no heat to it at all. Food missing also. Not good at all. Very disappointed this time. Will reconsider before ordering again I think

for the very first time,I am a bit disappointed with my lamb rogan..it was very..very..spiced + a Large amounts of freshly tomates(more than the meat!)..mixed with the meat....,which I did not like at all..has damage the tastes of the sauce..and the all meal..but it is the very first time I am given a lower score...I would may order again..as it is the best curry I have being experienced in london..

The Very Bezst Curry restaurant,,I have ever experienced!!,the sauce is Really Home made!!,not from a jars..plus++the meat are Always tendering+melting in ours mouths..just Wonderfull+very Authentic !!Curries made by truely Experties! nice food, never been late before but don't appreciate vague/blunt answers on phone without apology. no free side dish as advertised for minimum spend. disappointing service esp. as we're regulars and have left good reviews previously.

The worst butter chicken I had in London, it was so sugary, as if a lot of sugar had been added to the dish. On the other hand, the mixed grill was really good

I am an Indian and have eaten a lot of Indian food. We served this meal with guests including kids and everyone struggled to eat it. It tasted sweeter than desserts. I thought that it was possibly an accident with sugar but it was every dish that was sweet, apart from the naan! The worst Indian meal we have ever eaten…

Didn’t like Green masala at all. I ordered because it was chef’s recommendation. Taste not great .

Just no poppadoms delivered with the meal. And They did forget to bring the bottle drinks, but they went and got them and brought them back.
