Aj's chicken & pizza in Peterborough

Food was disgusting absolute waste of money this place would of rather eaten cat food tbh cuz ya burger wasn't even edible chips very undercooked garlic bread hardly no cheese nuggets soft as hell and nachos plain and crap should be ashamed of your self's selling crap like that

The food is amazing, burgers are nice, my favourite is the chicken wrap meal, service is really good and on time, drivers are friendly and polite, definitely recommend going here for food. Staff are polite and knows how to have a good laugh and understanding. The food was lovely and hot.

Very disappointing and cancelling order at last minute and said shop was closed when we placed the order.

One positive thing the food was hot but that’s all I can say good, the fried chicken was rubbery and very oily and definitely needed cooking more, I also ordered half a chicken was expecting it in a bag but was all diced up with the chips and also rubbery with no taste, chips were soggy needed crisping up, overall not the best, and after eating it I had a stomach ache

Ordered on just eat and after waiting for my delivery for nearly 40 minutes get a notification that the store has cancelled my order without any reason.. unacceptable

The Service is fast and genuinely amazing, They have always been so accommodating as well as kind over the phone and in person and the food is equally as amazing as the staff I would definitely recommend .

Worst place to eat in Peterborough. Honestly chicken was not even cooked properly and it was cold. Chips was soggy too. And the smell was horrible. I put everything in the bin straight away. Will never order from them. 🤢🤮

I ordered my food at 9.09pm and its currently 10.40pm and still havent recieved my food. I called up mutiple of times to find out where it was and all they tell me is that its on the way. I would not recommend this place unless you want to be messed around.

Is this place closing down? Seems all the overhead menus and prices have been removed. Sorry guys but if you're closing or refurbishing you should close the doors then reopen. The chicken is awful today. Hope I didn't get the last dried up prices before you close down the takeaway. Seems you just want to sell the final dried up stuff before you close. Charged me full price for inedible food kept warm till the end that should have been binned. Very disappointed. Thing have got really bad since original family opened AFC 20 years ago. First one pound chichen and chips in Peterborough. Sorry for bad review.

I ordered food from that place at 00:30, they did accpect my order. After hour my bf called them, they said driver is outside but no one was there, later didnt picked up the phone. At 02:05 they sended message that they sorry and food will be 02:20 but we still DID NOT GET OUR FOOD AND MONEY BACK. DO NOT TRUST THAT PLACE!!!!!!!!! 😡😠😠😠😠

I've never had an issue with AJ's. All food has come on time, if not, early, with all items present. If ordering diet cola/etc, they always provide and if they run out they ring you to check what you'd prefer instead. They don't make any continuations without buyer consent which makes ordering with blood sugar issues much easier and less hassle. Allergens are all taken 100% seriously, and the food is always great. Very happy to have found AJ's by chance one night and they'll be seeing me as a customer for many more nights to come.

Very good chicken wings, and the pizza's are nice too, and so are the fries. The southern fried chicken could be better though. Fast delivery. Underated takeaway

Food was 30Mins late when we received it it was cold, got order mixed up. When phoning them up 3 times they were rude. Then finally someone said they will phone driver. I will never be comming back here agen i didn't even enjoy the food 1 bit. Do not recommend

Utterly awful food, cold and different to what was ordered, do yourself a favour and no matter how drunk or hungry you are, order from somewhere else.

After going through most of the local takeaways this one stood out I'm looking at the other reviews and its jaw dropping. I always have the 12inch munch box the chicken is hands down the best you can get great service and average delivery (40mins) like every place you order from. 5* great food good services.

If I could give is -5 I would customer service rude, didnt turn up, said they did then said they would be 5 then rang back then said ten and rang back said they was closing and said they can offer other food, I said no I want my food or a refund. I spoke to just eat about a refund. They want me to talk to them to resolve the problem but tbh the way they spoke to me I dont want to. I dont want anything but my money back!! Sinple as!! Be nice to just eat all you want does not change the way you spoke to me.

Pigeon wings...not chicken wings...so small....fries not bad...chicken pieces...usully you get chicken drumstick... Thight...breast or wing...I had drumstick and mix of breast and wing....I used to go couple years ago every friday for 6 spicy wings and chips...loved it...now its a rubbish...like most of chicken places in Peterborough....

Didn't even get the food in the end. Waited over an hour and a half for nothing to show up. Wasn't even a busy time of the night. When i called after waiting an hour and 15 minutes in; the chap on the phone was insistent it would be here in 10 minutes tops. Then when i called back 20 minutes later, they said 10 minutes again. I gave the courtesy of waiting 15 minutes before calling to cancel. The staff on the phone were rude and unhelpful. When i called to cancel the chap was rude on the phone saying he wouldn't cancel cause he'd already sent it and then hung up. You guys really need to sort yourselves out.

Food was okay. Fries were really cold. Had to microwave them again. And no salt on them. Took an additional 30 minutes to deliver. Ended up having to re schedule my appointment. Wouldn't recommend to be honest. But if you got money to waste. Why not?

Don't know what point there is as to doing this as customer don't get feedback. Place order about 15.45 delivery came about 17.20 bit too long wait. Food was cold no warmth at all may stop using this app not express at all only one or too this I will use now and never get any feedback

Service was appalling and delivery time well Over one hour 40 Mins .. Man who worked there didn't even know who his boss was and wouldn't give me A Name? Had my food sitting in a car for Over 45 minutes before delivering it. Never again

I placed an order from AJ's for 17:40 and it arrived at 16:04. 24 minutes later. The both of the chips were dry, the Donna meat was cold, the double cheese burger wasn't hot enough. I wasn't happy, not going to order from them again. Many thanks James.

Delivery time 15:30, called at 15:50 to chase and was met with 'he's on his way' with no apology or offer of rectification. Food arrived and was less than impressed. Naan sandwich was a piece of naan with only TWO strips of donner meat! Chips soggy and flavourless. Less than impressed. Won't be using these again!

Food took far too long to come! Just because its a Takaway/Delivery doesn't mean Restaurant service should be any less! I put my order in at 14:30 food arrived, I rang at 16:10 to ask where my order was and got a muffled reply saying it would be with me in 10 or 15 mins! The chicken kebabs at AJs are wonderful. Freshly cooked nan bread. The chicken is cooked on a charcoal grill together with peppers and onions. The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be more salad. They are very good value. Delivery time is good. I would highly recommend them. Keep up the good work.

Chips like soggy cardboard caused by being wrapped in foil as well as being in the box, as a food safety officer this would certainly not be a practice I would recommend.
