Lovely Lola is the proprieter. We had a warm welcome and a friendly chat. I ate charred chicken on the bone with fluffy rice, veggies and a bbq sauce. He had mutton curry with rice & peas and steamed veg. It was absolutely delicious and very generous portions. This unassuming little place really packs a punch, flavour wise and we can highly recommend.

The lady that runs it is so lovely and the curry mutton and plantain was actually the best I’ve had! 10/10 spot!

I was charge extra for the food that I ordered. I don’t know if it’s because I am from out of town. The guy was used in the Calculator and then he decide to charge me more than what the regular price 😔 then tried to charge me twice on my card payment 🤷🏾‍♂️

I had curry goat meat and I really enjoyed it. It was really delicious and the meat was really soft. It melts in your mouth. And one thing I was very happy before I bought the food is the place is really clean

Food here was delicious, service was outstanding from the minute I walked through the door, couldn’t fault it. Food was piping hot and served within minutes. Staff member behind the counter was friendly and had great customer service. Will be back here for sure

I have tasted the mixed meal (jerk chicken, oxtail, rice and peas, with steamed veg). I’ve also had fried dumplings, curry mutton and rice; Guinness punch; sorrel; macaroni cheese. ALL of the dishes consistently taste DELICIOUS! I have ordered and had the meals as a takeaway. The customer care at Ah Ya So Nice is exemplary, and the delivery man provides the same quality of as the service I experience in the restaurant. I strongly recommend Ah Ya So Nice for your Caribbean cuisine.

I was passing by and thought I'd give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with absolutely great customer service. I decided to go with the curry and rice, along with the jerk chicken and rice, both recommended by the lovely staff. I have to say, the food was incredibly tasty and fresh, and I was even treated to some extra goodies, including dumplings. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

We came here for some authentic Caribbean food to try, we tried the mixed meal which you choose 2 mains essentially, we ordered jerk chicken and curry mutton, served on (we chose) rice and beans and steamed veg. This cost £14 and there was plenty for 2. The flavours were really good, the meat was really soft, and all in all we enjoyed it. The only minor criticism was the amount of bones we had, we did still get a good amount of meat but just lots of bones also in our portion. Would recommend to try Caribbean cuisine, and would try again if in the area. The lady who served us was really friendly, she gave us samples of various dishes to try to help make our decision!

I visited Ah ya so nice Authentic Caribbean cuisine take away for the first time. I would like to say I truly welcomed by staff who showed me a great hospitality. I ordered a large mutton and rice dinner with vegetables and coleslaw. I also tried the brown stew chicken and the oxtail dinner. And my spirit is pleased and blessed with such healthy option's. Good variety and texture taste and consistency As I do have an authentic Caribbean heritage. And I can say this with all honesty. This restestaurant provides an authentic taste. The Caribbean dish was amazing with succulent flavours running in my mouth. I am pleased with Ah ya so nice Caribbean restaurant and happy to recieve a brilliant service. Greated by a warm welcome atmosphere. I will definitely be back as a loyal customer. Thankyou so God Bless and One Love. Xx

Let's go! This place never faults for real! Just had a soup with some fried dumplings, And a saltfish fritter spicy soup, meaty, and refreshing, dumplings were soft in the centre, crunchy on outside and the fritter was just levels best in Birmingham hands down and lola is always lovely as usual ❤️!

Visited with my boyfriend earlier this evening and was served by a lovely lady with a really good sense of humour, service was amazing and the food matched this! Will definitely come back here to order again - thank you 🌟

Popped into the branch for the first time tonight, as I was passing through the area. Was moving some furniture but I also missed the taste of home since I relocated. Real intimate bright diner and although I ordered take out I'd have happily eaten in! The chicken soup is fantastic with just the right amount of dumplings!

Got a too good to go bag from these guys yesterday, and we were blown away by the quality! Have not been this impressed by food in a very long time. Owner also seemed lovely and happy to have a chat. Will be coming back!

The food is beautiful and the dumplings are my favourite because they are just so good. The servers are always so kind and friendly towards you. However I think it is better to do a takeaway then sit inside because it is quite small. Also, it is hala so you don't have to worry about the meats.

1at and foremost, lovely owner with a lovely accent and smile 5*. Mutton Stew 5* Jerk dinner 5* Mutton dinner 4*- too salty for me but that's my personal taste as I do not eat salt. Oxtail dinner-4* gravy too watery for me but again that's my personal taste. Salt fish fritters 5* My son would give 5 * all the way through, like I said my own personal taste and she cannot please everyone. Would I come here again, hell YES. Decor in shop front needs brightening up, not very inviting. The kitchen area is spotless from what you can see, the metal work is gleaming. Lovely place with a lovely owner highly recommended. X

Ordered a delivery on Uber eats as heard good things. We ordered a large mutton curry and a large stew chicken , container was 90% rice , chicken was over cooked and dry. Mutton curry was dry and the rice was so clumped together like it had been too long in the microwave

I've been to quite a few jamaican restaurants in Birmingham and I must say even after having this delivered to me that this is the best jamaican food I've tasted in a very long time the jerk chicken and rice was bursting with flavours and and the jerk sauce that accompanied it was sweet and spicy at the right levels , even the curry mutton soup was amazing and has gotten rid of my flu I will definitwly be ordering from here more excellent service and amazing food thankyou very much 👌🏽

This is some of the best Caribbean food in Birmingham. The ox tail is on another level. I can't recommend it enough. Not to mention the killer dumplings. Also the lady who works here is incredibly kind and takes great care of her customers.
