Great food, excellent service, best Indian food I have eaten. Staff are helpful, friendly, and very efficient. It was my birthday and I was given a complimentary ice cream which was the best ice cream I have ever eaten. We will definitely return.

My husband and I visited Agra last night. Although it was extremely busy with two big parties we were given great service. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the portions generous. I would definitely recommend a visit.

14-Jan Agra. Visited on a Sunday late afternoon / early evening so the restaurant was fairly quiet. As always, service was excellent and the "buffet" offer (not a buffet, you choose what you want but the price is fixed) is excellent value. We had some decent prosecco / wine and a lovely freebie Baileys at the end. Highly recommend.

Really amazing Indian! I’m currently working my way around most of them in the area and this defo didn’t disappoint. Really lovely food, friendly staff and nice relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Would go back for sure!

As always the food at Agra was delicious, quickly served and filling. We popped in on a Thursday night and were accommodated immediately. The service was attentive and the food was very tasty. Agra is one of my favourite curry houses around. Will always choose to eat here.

First Indian takeaway in years - my brother and his wife were up for weekend so we thought we would treat ourselves. When the food arrived it was all cold and had clearly been sitting by the door waiting to be delivered. Not a good start. We ordered chicken tikka masala and king prawn korma. The chicken was saccharine sweet and devoid of anything resembling spice. The korma was beyond awful. Chewy microwaved prawns swimming in what looked like like split milky sauce. The rice was passable but overall the worst takeaway I have ever eaten. Based on this experience try literally anywhere else instead. The irony is we had a leaflet through door that week promoting how Agra had an award winning chef. He has clearly left or is on extended annual leave.

I notified the restaurant in advance of a medical issue and my inability to eat anything with fat (gallstones). On arrival the very helpful waiter informed me that the chef had been made aware and proceeded to talk me through suitable options. Went with the chicken Tikka and boiled rice with hint of lemon - all cooked to perfection and so delicious. I felt so well looked after and cannot thank the wonderful team for their understanding and help.

Got a takeaway here as our regular, kathmandu masala (the BEST curry in beckenham) wasn’t open yet, and it was quite nice but also really quite bland. The curry did not have much flavour and some dishes. E.g saag paneer, was very sweet tasting which isn’t usually sweet. They also forgot our rice and only gave us 1 popadom? Also chana masala on the menu would be good thanks!

Had an amazing dinner . Probably the best curry house in Beckenham. Lamb dish was just the way I wanted. Surely we’ll be back.staffs were very friendly and polite. Cheers Agra

Ordered a home delivery last night , food arrived hot and delicious , have not ordered for a while as I have been ordering from there sister restaurant in West Wickham but I was glad I returned to Agra , staff are brilliant (even remembering I preferred my king prawns off shell ), cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough . Well done to all the Agra team

I really like the food always fresh and tasty. A few times we have visited the service is slow having to flag down to get a drink and just feel forgotten about. Pay attention to service and everything will be perfect.

Visited again to have a meal on the fantastic value Wednesday banquet evening. Five courses for £12! Friendly efficient service and delicious food. One of the best places to eat Indian food in Beckenham.

Visited with my children tonight and received the usual warm and friendly welcome. Unbelievably the chef exceeded his usual already delicious, fresh and authentic food. We cleaned every single plate, had extra rice and sauce to finish the bulging plate of delicious fresh chicken curry. When we were full and barely able to leave the chef sent out a plate of Indian doughnuts dropping in caramel and crushed mixed nuts for us to try. We had fresh tandoori salmon, chicken and a variety of curries and each as good as the next. It’s a little gem and I cannot recommend highly enough.

We visited for the first time last night , we are big curry fans and this place did not disappoint. I ordered a king prawn dish which was absolutely delicious, my partner ordered a lamb dish which was so succulent. The staff were very polite , friendly and clearly proud of the fresh high quality produce they serve

7 Jul Agra. Visited on a Sunday mid afternoon for a late lunch. Neither of us was drinking and we had the set menu of poppadoms, starter, main, side & rice or bread which is a total steal at £13 each. The food was delicious & plentiful and service was welcoming as always. We were even offered a little drink after, so generous. Love this place and will be back again soon. Just wish I lived close enough for it to be available as takeaway!

Had an amazing meal (again) with fresh ingredients. Price is so reasonable!! The naan breads so fresh, paneer so chunky and meat so tender!!!

Visited here for the first time Friday evening with Hubby and three friends. We were very warmly greeted by the Manager and his staff, the food was excellent, service was excellent you could not fault this restaurant at all and although we live 25 minutes away we will definitely go back highly recommend thank you to the Manager and his staff for making us so welcome

Once again an amazing meal at the Agra at Eden Park Sam and his staff are the most wonderful people you could ever meet we have now moved to Cornwall and on every chance we get coming down to London area for work we have to visit Agra for the amazing food that he produces if you’re in the area it is a must highly recommend there king prawns best I have ever had and I live near the sea!!!!

Visited here for the first time with friends. Service was very good and welcoming. Food was of good quality, not oily which you often get with Indian restaurants. When I asked to make my dish slightly less spicy than that on the menu, it came out perfect. Would definitely visit again

11 Dec Agra. Always a delight to return to Agra for its excellent value, delicious dishes (huge menu), consistently reliable food and such welcoming warm service. We were seated just before a large group and they made a point of suggesting we order first to ensure no delays. Great! Highly recommend.

As a large family of 15 (adults and one 2 year old) that eat out together often it’s quite difficult to find somewhere with good service and good quality food. With many of my family from Croydon and others from central London, Horsham and Guildford that had to travel for my mums birthday meal here, it was definitely worth the journey!

Took a few friends to my favourite curry house Agra. The service and the quality of food is outstanding thank you chef for catering to our individual taste all in all a place for comfort food and homely hospitality

Recently started to have takeaway from here due to the normal takeaway changing chef, but very happy that they did as the meals are great! The food is always hot and tasty. The Madras curry is super yummy. The food always arrives SUPER quick, we had it within 15mins last time, not sure if that's because the meals are pre-made though? would recommend!

We arranged a get together with our friends for a Saturday ( 09/02/2019 )and arrived on time 2000hrs to a busy lively gathering, shown to our table and waited to be asked if we would like some drinks.

Regular user of this restaurant for eat in and takeaway and it’s one of the best in the area. Wide menu and a great range of tasty dishes, would recommend for all. Great chicken and chips if one of your party doesn’t like curry.

The takeaway meal was covered with a layer of fat. Such a pity, because I think the ingredients were good. The use of more spices would make the taste better. Friendly staf, we had to wait a bit longer than expected, but this was compensated with a free beer. We wonder how this place can have such a good rating on trip advisor.

The lentils were swimming in oil, as were the other vegetarian dishes we ordered. Not very well balanced flavours. The staff were very friendly but the food way below what we expected from previous reviews and compared to other take aways.

Popped in here very early evening for a quick meal before going to a local party. Really good, friendly service throughout and the food was exceptional - best Indian food for ages. Decent bottle of white wine for around £15. We were the only ones in there but it was 530pm on a Saturday evening so can't really complain although the phone was red hot with takeaway orders!

Not very pleased with takeaway was cold wishy washy lentils perhaps if it wasn’t tepid it would have tasted better

We chose to come to Agra because we have found it to be consistently excellent - not only is the food delicious, but the staff are so gentle and pleasant that we feel very relaxed and welcome on each visit. I have recommended others, and they have in turn found it to be a very pleasant experience and rated it highly.

Time of delivery was adjusted but arrived within the revised time. Tasty food - tikka masala was quite coconutty, portions were an average size and it was warm as opposed to hot, but the flavour and quality were very good so would order again.

This was a really lovely meal. Baltic cold beers, a lovely welcome and great food. It was full tonight and we were not surprised! All the dishes were delicious especially chicken shashlik, Brinjal Bhaji and paneer korai. We will be back, as it is consistently excellent!

We did not know what to expect as we had never been to the restaurant but it had gotten good reviews so we took a chance. We had a wonderful dinner. Sammy took the time to welcome us personally and chat with us. Very good service. The food was nice, my daughter especially liked the Butter Chicken we brought home for her. We enjoyed the chicken massala. If you’re in Beckenham, and looking for good Indian food, this will be a good choice.

We had such a disappointing experience with Agra and it's really put us off using them again. First of all we ordered 2 vegetarian set meals but the website did not allow us to chose a rice or a bread so when the order arrived these items were missing. Which was not a problem as the site was obviously having a glitch and we could have called to talk about the confusion. However, when I did call Agra to explain I was told that I should have clicked the button, despite explaining several times that there was no option to push. I was told I could either have a discount on our order next time or wait 20 minutes for bread and rice. We decided that we would wait for the extra items. Then I was suddenly passed to the manager and told that we would have to pay for the missing items even though they were a part of our meal. I explained that this was ridiculous and I was told that the manager instead was going to come to our house and discuss the matter with us in person - perfect! When the manager showed up he simply gave us the missing items and apologised, all was well! We then tucked into our vegetarian curries and my friend then took a bite out of a piece of chicken! Needless to say this was awful as she has been vegetarian for many years now. I called Agra straight away who were very apologetic and said that they would replace the whole food order. I explained that this was not at all necessary and would be such a huge waste of food and instead would just like them to replace the curry that had meat in. I had to say this several times as I was not being listened to and it was only when I said fine we will take a refund that all of a sudden I was understood. Again the manager arrived with a bag full of food which we specifically said we did not want. I'm not sure what was going on this night but it was just dreadful. By the time our rice arrived and then the correct curry everything was cold.

I have to say I'm guilty of not eating here much recently...but visited yesterday with my two (grown up) children.

The food is usually great from Agra but we were both disappointed tonight. Our meals and nan bread were luke warm and my chicken was very rubbery and tasted ‘cheap’. Such a shame - hope it’s a one off blip!

Bland, cold, too oily. in fact rubbish food , rather of had my wife’s food. would of definitely been cheaper and tastier!

I have tried many indian restaurants in Beckenham but didn't enjoy much but Came to know agra from TripAdvisor. .my wife took me here .. we had an amazing experience at agra.loved there naga lamb thanks to our waiter who recommended me this.

I really love this local restaurant, and they recently redecorated it, which brings a warm, relaxing atmosphere - makes me like it that little bit more. My husband had the Tandoori king prawn main and I had the lamb shashlik, was absolutely perfect and spice to our taste, and of course I went for my favourite - lamb chops DELICIOUS!!!! Can’t wait to go back again and soon :)

Excellent food and service in this lovely restaurant. It's a long journey for us but very worth it! The Chicken Shaslik was amazing as was the King Prawn dishes. The Masala tea just finished my meal off to perfection! Highly recommended. 💐

Food was lukewarm and greasy. Not worth the 90 minute wait. I wish they hadn’t accepted my order, they were clearly too busy and should know when to say no. Less detrimental in the long run if they had declined my order. As a result I won’t be using them again and wouldn’t have had to leave negative feedback.

We love our Indian food and we have tried all in the area, and this by far is the best. Why!!!!!!! Very clean, foods fresh,service is very friendly and professional! Sam and his staff are very helpful and will change any ingredient in the menu it suit you.

Dhal was really salty, chicken tikka was dry. and there was hardly any spinach in the sag aloo. Also portion sizes were much smaller than other indian takeaways. Will not order from them again. Delivery was early though.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but that paratha was horrific. I don’t know if it was from a packet and then cooked and maybe recooked but I can’t imagine anyone liking this. i would expect Home made for 2 pounds each. curry was ok but not extra hot as ordered at all

Agra has an amazing customer service (delivery and eat in) and will always do their best to satisfy its customer needs. The food is delicious, the portions are perfect! If you try Agra once, you'll be hooked! Best Indian restaurant ever!

Very disappointed with the veggie pathia. Tonight (and last week) the pathia was nothing like usual. No sweet and sour taste but a rather salty/vinegary taste. Not good at all... The lamb pasanda, the nan and onion bahjis however were as delicious as usual. Bring back my dear old vegetable pathia recipe please!

Very happy with our Christmas Eve delivery. Really impressed with the quality and taste of the food. Unlike other local inidian restaurants, Agra didn’t put up their price purely because of the date.

Went to Agra for the second time with my husband and daughter. Great experience again, food was absolutely delicious and the service from the staff members were brilliant, they are so lovely and friendly. We especially enjoyed the chicken korai and I could not get enough of the tandoori lamb chops, so divine I day dream about them!! Must go again!!!

I went with a friend for the first time last night and found it both friendly, cosy and enjoyable.

Terrible - food came 2 hours late, no calls to advise what happened and when I finally got through to them they kept lying. Not to mention, gave me and the husband terrible tummies the next day

ordered at 745 came at 9:40! "Arrival" was at suppose to be at 9:05:| we ordered from another curry house at half past cos there phones constantly went beep from 9:10-9:30!! & all the delivery guy could do was offer 20% OFF!! The least they could do was call us at 9:10 to explain it may be a delay! If your too BUSY decline orders simple as!! Won't even go back in there to eat now #Hangry

Having chosen not to eat at the disgusting innkeepers lodge I wandered down the street and found this little gem. Good food, pleasant staff and nice place to relax. Would recommend.
