What an amazing venue and hostess!! I booked the outdoor space for our daughters 5th birthday and what a day we had!! We faced the possibility of heavy rain on the day but Emma had the whole space set up in preparation for it with all the sides down to keep us warm and dry. We arrived to beautifully decorated marquee with all seating and table decor ready and a second marquee set up as a dance space and party games. All we had to do was turn up with a cake!! The food was delicious and plenty of it! Emma's home made cakes are to die for! I don't the kids even got to taste the cakes because the parents couldn't keep their hands off it 🤣 I had nothing but compliments the whole day from all the guests who were blown away by how beautiful the venue is and how delicious the food was. We had a magical day and I would recommend Woodleigh and Emma to anyone!! I hope they have an influx of bookings after our day because it is thoroughly deserved. Thankyou so much for such a special day 💕

Woodleigh hosted a baby shower for us today, serving a vintage style afternoon tea. All the food was homemade and was absolutely delicious. The service and attention to detail was amazing. I really can’t recommend this place enough and I’m looking forward to visiting again soon. If you’re in the Barnsley area, find an excuse to go - you’ll definitely not be disappointed.

I’ve just come back from having afternoon tea here for my sisters 60th birthday. It’s been a lovely afternoon, lovely food and plenty of it, a gorgeous room in the lady’s house and we were really well-looked after with our hostess checking if we needed more of anything. Lovely vintage crockery and cutlery and the Victoria sponge was as light as a feather. A lovely place for a small gathering.

popped into today whilst in the centre. First visit, and overjoyed to be handed a full menu of gluten free goodness. I took ages choosing, because i felt so spoilt, but finally went with the homemade Ham, cheese and tomato quiche, with fresh salad. My partner had the burger with homemade chips. PROPER, homemade, fresh food. Even purchase a portion of salted caramel and a jaffa cake cake to take home. The staff were super friendly and chatting away, without being too much, and the atmosphere super relaxed. Definitely a new favourite for us

1st visit. Popped in to see if they did a takeaway tea and fried egg sandwich. Staff extremely friendly, cleanliness amazing, decor unbelievably outstanding. This place is so inviting that I will be back with my wife who would love it in here. Even a simple tea and a fried egg sandwich was so nice. Well done to the owners and staff.
