Afternoon Tea at The Library in Kensington and Chelsea

Excellent tea selection and small bites. Our party of 4 was well-fed and felt well taken care of. Service is excellent and attentive. Our picky eaters of the group loved every bite! It was a wonderful warm respite on a blustery day.

Afternoon tea in The Library. Plus points - service, sandwiches, tea choices and scones were all excellent. The cakes were really disappointing. Looked lovely but all the same texture and tasteless. The rhubarb one had no rhubarb taste. The cheesecake was soggy. The chocolate was stodgy and heavy.

This was our first experience with afternoon tea. We were seated with an awesome view of Big Ben. Our attendant, Tetiana, was precious and extremely helpful. The sandwiches, scones and desserts were perfect. Truly a wonderful experience and we weren't made to feel "out of place". We're from Louisiana so we're used to an ice cold glass of southern sweet tea but this was a wonderful experience.

Love having afternoon tea at the library, beautiful view of Big Ben, even if its having a little face lift these days, the staff is amazing
