Visited on a weekend and the restaurant was not too busy. Nice, spacious and bright seating area. Afternoon Indian tea was very tasty with a selection of Indian snacks, toasted sandwiches, wraps, and desserts accompanied with a pot of masala chai. Service was pleasant. We enjoyed our snacks and tea and this was our second visit.

Ordered Indian Afternoon Tea which was on my Groupon, was given just ordinary tea which wasn't even that nice. Was my daughters birthday and both of us were really disappointed. Also no one there to greet us when we arrived. Very poor all round.

My husband bought me the Indian afternoon tea with prosecco as part of my Christmas gifts. Booking was easy, I called the number on the voucher and was given all the available dates and times. On arrival we were greeted by staff at reception then shown through to the restaurant. Inside we were seated by Rahil, he was extremely welcoming, he showed us to the table of our choosing and went off to get our welcome drink. We had chosen the prosecco option but there is an traditional Indian tea available if preferred. When the food arrived, Rahil told us what each part of the dish was. The food was delicious! Perfect amount to enjoy all the beautiful flavours and very filling. We were also given Masala Chai tea to compliment the food, which was refilled if required. The whole experience was just as I’d hoped for and more. Rahil was attentive to us during the whole time we were there. We enjoyed it so much we are already booking to return with family members to share the experience.

Everything was wonderful from the ambiance to the service to the food. We loved everything we tried and had an amazing waiter- Andre, who made the experience even better. We will go back every time we are in London and recommend it to all of our friends!

I had been so excited about tea here during my most recent trip to London because of the amazing reviews and pictures - do not be fooled like I was, the tea tray looks NOTHING like the prior photos. We came for Indian Afternoon Tea and it was the biggest disappointment of any activity or food we ate during our entire trip. You enter the hotel that appeared deserted and are taken into a midsize open space that is not really decorated. We were seated at a table and originally we we were thinly ones in attendance. The service was really lacking, even though we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. The music was also like pop music in the background, which was really weird since paying for a fancy afternoon tea felt like it should be a nicer occasion than one where music from a top hits radio would play. The tea was not special and was bagged tea. If I had known this alone, I probably would have just either made my own cup or gone anywhere else. On the trays of food, the options were just unappetizing. The bottom tray was white bread with cold "tikka masala." It tasted like chicken salad in a tomato sauce. There was then a sandwich with pesto sauce, we were very confused that this was on the menu. The top of the tray had samosas and like fried potatoes. The pudding in the middle was like an oversweetened version of bread pudding. The best thing on the tray of food was the scones, which we could have gone anywhere for. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had a voucher for Park Grand Kensington traditional afternoon tea, and I was told to email for a booking. Emailed 3 times and only received a reply over a week and a half later saying they were completely booked - as I had no reply I had called them before this and got a booking but was not provided with a booking reference number and the whole ordeal was more complicated than it should’ve been with the handler getting dates wrong, my name wrong etc. I called to enquire why I had not received a booking reference number and whether this was normal. 2 calls were unanswered so I emailed and was told that my booking was not confirmed because they were fully booked, this is not what I was told on the call and had I not followed up I would have gone to Park Grand without knowing that my booking was not actually made. The customer service and organisation skills were not worth an afternoon of tea which, according to the rest of the reviews, is subpar.

The food was nice but you don’t get a lot of sandwiches. The staff were very helpful and nice but a bit over attentive constantly coming to the table. The china was very canteen like and I had a saucer for a side plate and had to ask twice for cutlery , once for the dessert and once for a teaspoon.

I usually love afternoon tea and have been to many around London. I've never been to one I didn't enjoy, until this one. Starting with the tea, they didn't have any loose tea options available, only tea bags which was a shame but they kindly made me some fresh mint tea which I appreciated. The sandwiches were the most disappointing part (and usually my favourite!). Not only was the bread dry, the vegetarian options were simply awful. 2 sandwiches had a slice of cheese, that was it. The other 2 were filled with some lettuce and sliced tomatoes. It's a shame they didn't make more of an effort to be creative like every single other afternoon tea I've been to, some avocado/roasted vegetables/hummus would have been nice. The meat ones were apparently just as plain, 2 filled with chicken and 2 filled with Tuna mayo. There were no smoked salmon sandwiches which is advertised on their traditional afternoon tea menu. The Scones were quite nice and that was the best part. It's definitely an afternoon tea that I won't be returning to as I expected much better.

I was taken to this hotel on 31 January for a chocolate afternoon tea. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and the tea delicious. Our waiter, STEVE, was exceptional - very courteous and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He is a credit to the hotel. Thank you STEVE!!

I visited with my husband for Indian afternoon tea. We were seen to more or less straight away. When the food came out, he had to question if it was for the both of us as the portion sizes were so tiny. I wouldn’t say it was made for adults to share, more for children. It looked pretty and presentable, but it didn’t really tick all the boxes for us unfortunately. The downside was that the food lacked in flavour and taste. My husband enjoyed the small size paneer role, the masala tea was delicious, which me and my husband both enjoyed very much as we are both Indian tea lovers. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, only another couple when we arrived. I was disappointed that they did not have a baby changing area, so I was escorted downstairs into a guest room to use it to change my baby which was appreciated. I noticed the carpets and walls along the corridor being dirty and had scruff marks, I wouldn't say this was a 4* hotel. Access to the hotel was also difficult as climbing the stairs with a pushchair was difficult. It was a nice experience overall as we were there for my husbands birthday, but I wouldn't visit again

Every thing is tasty and well presented. Staff explain what each item on the afternoon tea is and there is a choice of teas to taste. Very worth a visit.

The Trip Advisor tour was run fine, guide was knowledgeble and pleasant. It just wasn't worth over $200 for two people. You can get the same high tea by going to the Kensington Palace website and making a reservation directly. The afternoon high tea was fine - typical tea sandwiches, scones, and pastries with choice of one small pot of tea. Hardly substitutes for a real lunch but it was fun to be next to Kensington Palace. Would go on palace tour and then have tea after instead.

I tried out the Chocolate and orange afternoon tea and thought it was excellent for the price paid. The sandwiches were particularly nice (my favourite part of the tea) and were of different colours - a really nice touch. A scone, a deluge of clotted cream and jam and a small selection of cakes. On the top a really nice chocolate mousse in an orange. My waiter was extremely helpful and took away my empty teapot at one point to give me a fresh refill. Really enjoyable!

Ice cream afternoon tea with a bottle of prosecco for two. Excellent value. Given a warm welcome from Cristina Sandwiches made with a variety of different breads including carrot bread. Hummus sandwich with cheese and cucumber was lovely. Fab selection of small cakes, a jelly, scones and an ice cream cone to finish Wide variety of teas to choose from. We were served by Rangel who was super friendly and couldn't have done anymore to make our experience better, even offered to take photos .

My friend and I have an afternoon tea once a month in London ,usually using a Wowcher voucher . Two days ago we visited the Park Grand , we got the tube to Queensway and walked for about 6 minutes through a very nice area before we found the hotel . We had a warm welcome and were given a choice of seats by the very attentive waiter Rangel, he even poured my tea for me. A cake stand was promptly brought , delicious sandwiches ,a warm scone with jam and cream and a chocolate mousse and a selection of delightful cakes ....everything was perfect. We were too full to eat all the cakes so Rangel offered to box them up so we could take them home. Being a smoker I asked if I could smoke at the few tables that are outside and Rangel even brought me another pot of tea outside. We spent 3 hours at this hotel and it was a fantastic relaxing afternoon .

Ristorante a due passi da Harrods, molto accogliente, cucina libanese ma anche internazionale. Pizza e menù bambini. Prezzi in linea con Londra. Solo una nota negativa, bagni piccoli e non puliti.
