Came for special afternoon tea. Had been over 4 years ago and had always recommended to friends. Quality has definitely gone down and price has gone up £34 per person plus 10% service charge. Not worth the money and doubt I would return again.

Food is definitely mediocre. Tea is good. View is great. Service is ok. Prices are highish.,,, They need someone internally that really understands food to get involved.

I was hoping others were wrong. The tea was good, the sandwiches were good. One of the desserts had dry bread like someone else said. The clotted cream was very thick and looked liked scooped butter vs light and creamy. I was the first to arrive at their 1:00 starting time. Got my tea and then waited fifteen or twenty minutes for the food. He said he would be back to describe the food. Ten minutes passed and I went ahead and started eating. I’ve now been sitting here for over an hour and a half and nobody has come to give me my check or check about boxing my leftovers. But the other main reason I would not consider this a wonderful experience is that it is very noisy. Compared to tea at The Shelbourne in Ireland, this is not nearly as lovely an experience. The kitchen and restaurant staff are talking loudly as they go about their set up and chores.

St andrews is an amazing place glad we went there, sandwiches, scones, cakes, was good. Waiter that served us was Asian he is amazing he new a lot of information about st andrews he's was a pleasure to talk too, we feel bad when we left because another female waitress came to take our payment we wanted to give a cash tip to the male waiter, she was very demanding on giving her a tip, she done absolutely nothing apart from take the bill so we are hoping you share the tips with each other thanks

Had high expectations of an afternoon tea in a five star hotel and was very disappointed in the experience. The conservatory had no atmosphere, there were no table cloths, the crockery looked like it came from a supermarket cafe and we were given large dinner plates and cutlery to use. The service was also not what we expected. We were informed that tea was ‘unlimited’ but we actually had to go looking for someone to ask for more tea and hot water was not offered, although it was brought fairly promptly when we managed to ask for it. The variety of the food was good and while the cakes and scones were lovely some of the bread used in the sandwiches was dry......we were told by our server to eat the sandwiches first.....was that so they wouldn’t get even drier? This afternoon tea was given to me as a gift and I am disappointed that it did not live up to my expectations and it did not appear to be value for money.

Ordered through just eat, ended up missing a mcflurry from my order which I can't get a refund for apparently. Not the first time this has happened and sick and tired of it

This place is horrendous for pizza Apart from the 3 hour delivery it took for a house 10 mins away as the driver could not find our house despite saying it was delivered twice on the app Avoid our 3 pizzas went in the bin disgusting even my dog turned its nose up at a slice and it eats anything How you are still in business is beyond me Customer service is woeful as well
