Foods always cold or wrong, never get what u order, staff don't care as long as they are getting paid , only reason still go is for the kids

Every single time we go through drive through we wait at least 10 mins in parking space. Today I only ordered chicken nuggets and chips and were still sent to the parking space. A bit of a joke really

Can’t cope with the deliveries. Like most food places post lockdown obsession with sending out deliveries which will obviously be cold. To find in store customers waiting a ridiculously long time. This store copes less well than others When your screen says please collect, have the order ready not fifteen minutes later

I don't expect much from a McDonald's to have my low expectations met isn't uncommon, but this place take the cake. Probably a good thing as i really should watch my diet more. So thank you for improving my overall health with your shy portions and poor service.

Managers and staff seem nice enough. They don’t have anyone on front so you feel silly just standing there and everyone’s walking past. Food was hot and server was very nice. Not their fault that they have no staff

This McDonalds is filthy. There were no napkins in the dispenser, there were no table tents for table service, the lobby host did a terrible job at tidying under the tables, there was still rubbish under the area she was doing, she had time to chat with her pals who were sitting in lobby on a break though. The manager doesn't care, it's obvious from her appearance and demeanor and her reaction to anything that is said to her. DO NOT use the bathrooms. How is this McDonalds not on a remedial service plan???? And if you want half your order missing and never any straws for your drinks then I'd recommend ordering through mcdelivery because it's consistently wrong.

EDIT* Since my last experience clearly nothing has changed, my partner really fancied food from here again so we foolishly decided to order, yet again there was a whole meal and dips that were paid for missing, 22 minutes of phoning and eventually someone answered he told us to come and collect if we really wanted our missing food but couldn’t as we dont have a car yet and couldn’t walk as don’t stay in kirkcaldy, the guy didn’t apologize and said nothing he can do then terrible customer service. Absolutely terrible ordered a breakfast mighty mcmuffin meal, it was overall greasy and my hot chocolate wasn’t even full doesn’t taste like chocolate it’s just dirty machine water, it’s not that hard to notice the machine didn’t make it properly and it needs refilled, just makes me wonder what kind of people do you have working here and is it even hygienic or safe to eat food from here…

Ordered through just eat, ended up missing a mcflurry from my order which I can't get a refund for apparently. Not the first time this has happened and sick and tired of it

Food etc good, but school children seem to use the restaurant as a playground. Seats that are back to back are constantly being shaken.

I ordered at 12:32 am waiting to and a half hours until 3.00 am for my order to say delivered I never received it at all never got a refund and they ignored my calls I called them 16+ times and no answer

Food is almost always cold. In more recent times never get drive through without having to park and wait and STILL food comes out cold

This used to be one of those guilty treats, however. The last 3 - 4 trips have neen no pleasure, you go back in the hope the poor quality was a one off. Not so, order at machine, go to window 1, pay, so far so good. Drive to window 2, get drinks, a good start.. then asked to find a space and order will be brought out, 10 to 15 mins later the luke warm food arrives. The once crispy, hot chips are now luke warm and limp, my coffe is gone as drunk it waiting. My hope of this is a one off has gone as is my trips to mcdonalds kirkcaldy. Would have been zero star but coffee was ok.

Absolutely appalling service, waited 20 minutes for my order as did many others. When I asked about my order told it was coming, when it arrived was an item short and no sausage with the pancakes. Spoke a manager who looked about 20 and couldn't give a damn. Won't be back!

I will never go back to this or possibly any other McDonalds again!! Triple cheeseburger.. NO, I got the poorest excuse for a DOUBLE cheeseburger that I have ever seen in my life, I’m sure they threw it into the wrapper and stuffed it in the bag.£5 meal deal ,, what a joke !!! Soggy cheeseburger no nuggets and the soggiest fries. Not to mention that all was like warm. Totally disgusted with the food, I won’t be back. Stay clear of this McDonalds!!

It's macdonalds, it did not suck, was not ill after it, food was OK, place was clean and ok. Will use again when needing food and have nothing else.

this location is utter rubbish i asked for a plain cheeseburger i opened because it tasted rather odd there was a weird sticky white sauce. maybe out of date mayo??

It's 50/50 whether you get the right order, and the waiting times are just sometimes not acceptable, especially when you get to the window or the desk inside the shop and you can't get anybody to help you as they're busy huddled together talking about whatever, I don't care I just want served and away and they take longer than any other McDonald's I visit.

I came here on the 20th of this month, I thought it would be nice to try the £5 saver meal. I ordered a chicken mayo, fries and a cola zero. when I got home I opened the lid of my drink and it looked like someone has either spat or ejaculated into my drink and I was almost sick. please get this sorted immediately!!!

I was getting a frappe and wow i come home to this get it sorted i used to love this mcdonalds but i will never be back i will go kfc now

I’d give it 0 stars if possible, considering this is 2 days later and I’m still waiting on my food and refund. Used the app to order for collection and when I arrived having paid for it and going to collect it, they came out to tell me they had decided to close and not cook! Yet the app was fully working and taking orders… so obviously I didn’t get my meal, but McDonald’s have taken the full payment out my account and I’m now having to jump through hoops to get back my money.

Ordered via the app. Order accepted/Money taken from account. Get to store and although there’s staff in the building, they have decided to shut the store and say they won’t serve food until 5am. Told to ‘come back tomorrow’ to get a refund…

Waited 55 mins for food, had to ask at counter how long it was going to be! We then received our order which was wrong and also so cold! Staff were rude and not apologetic whatsoever

Who on God's good earth thought that making lids out of paper was a good idea!!!! Absolute lunacy, you're not going to save the planet doing this! Beware these lids "pop" off when you hold them, spilling everywhere and if you by some miracle do get it to your mouth it dribbles everywhere. Change these lids now.

waited FIFTY MINUTES on order and had to go up to front counter and ask for my order. food had actually been sat there the whole time we waited and was stone cold by the time we received the order. no sweet chilli so we just got garlic mayo put in bag. got the wrong drinks and missing sauces and after all this, we didn’t even get an apology and staff member didn’t even acknowledge the waiting time. will not be back

Was a horrible experience, will not be back. Waited 50 minutes for our food, which we had to go up and ask for, was understandable as it was slightly busy however our food was waiting there the whole time, which the person packing orders was not nice one bit and was very rude about the situation saying not waiting 50 minutes and rolling their eyes, then for them to not have what we ordered, and gave us mayo as a substitute which I absolutely cannot stand mayo, wrong drinks completely and food was stone-cold, not even an apology for our waiting time

Rubbish customer experience, trying to park in the click and serve but cant as car parked in them with no passengers, just eat drivers hanging about parking in disabled bays. Keep being forced to use the app which keeps crashing, orders are always wrong. Staff arent interested. Only go cos kids like the burgers

Worst experience ever! Restaurant wasn't overly busy. Couple tables sitting down with 3 people waiting for food. Staff seem clueless and running around mad not knowing what to do. Waited 20 mins for a bigmac meal and nothing else. And then had to wait waving my arms around for someone to acknowledge me to hand me a straw as they just threw the bag down on the counter with no straw

It's ALWAYS busy... delivery drivers seem to get priority. Often asked to park up and wait on drive through food.

Best mcdonald's I've visited. I normally struggle to make an order due to sesame seed allergy, this mcdonalds made me a burger with a non contaminated steamed bun! I am so thankful. Will come here again.

worst place ever this is my 3rd time this week they have messed up order food wrong service wrong stinking attitude on managers and staff no health and safety measure staff coffing over food wipe nose on sleeve no hair nets and told we busy when order messed up aye was only one in drive fro and car park was empty taken piss aye have worked in a mcdonald’s before but this one is scum from staff to toilets have contacted healt and safety and food hygiene hope this place shuts down

Staff are doing the best they can but over half an hour for a bacon roll is ridiculous. They need more staff and support during peak and busy times.

Waited 20 minutes for my order and was crowded by delivery drivers pushing in front of me to get their orders first. Unfriendly, stressed staff and a dirty environment made me leave without my order. Never going to this one again.

Very slow service even when quite quiet in the morning. Seating area was completely closed off and only take out was available on the touch screen displays.

4 m8n drive from retail park - allfood was so cold even a 3 yr old complained absolute joke - it's not the first time either - being busy is not an excuse for cold food ! Will NOT order again when a 3yr old knows the difference between COLD or hot / even warm food - Clearly there's issues with the restaurant!!!

I think at some point around spring/summer 2024 the management team of this branch must have changed; it's a place I've been a semi-regular at since it opened and the standard of the food has never bothered me til recently. Breakfast Mcmuffin eggs always seemed relatively fresh before, but now I think they must cook the eggs about a day in advance and warm them thru later, because now the yolks are green--but because the yolks have been popped, there's now green mixed all thru the white of the eggs like mould through stilton, and the end result is absolutely stomach churning to look at. I don't care if it's 'perfectly edible', it looks disgusting and repellent. And also the eggs are strangely dry, which seems kinda bizarre but it's true. I recently had a Mayo Chicken and a Big Mac from this branch too, and the miserable squished things handed to me reminded me of that scene in the flick Falling Down where D-Fens goes nuts over the disparity between the photos of the juicy burgers on the menu and the sorry, saggy thing he's presented with. I'm not expecting fine dining--it's fast food after all--but the quality of the food served seems to have just plummeted at this branch in 2024. The service is okay, and the staff are fine, if a little... disengaged, and I've rarely had to wait particularly long for my food, but what use that when the standard of the actual food now either turns my stomach or reminds me of a cutting satire critiquing the state of fast food?

Ordered on just eat a £35 order to arrive with no chips. Phoned and asked to rectify to be told to re order. Don’t use this McDonald’s. What a joke they are. Update. Did u just kick my dinner about the floor before putting it in the bag. And half a milkshake.

Came for a breakfast. Not really busy inside. 12mn for a sausage muffin meal is ridiculous. Especially when the number after me get 2 meal before? Wtf? If I didn't ask, I would have wait the whole morning...

Often very busy but staff are as quick as they can be. Usual McDonald's fayre. Good for a treat with the family.

Ordered a drink and not only did they forget about it, they stood there and spoke the entire time while we stood there like wankers, when i went up to ask about my drink the boy proceeded to ask if i had a receipt which i told him no (seeing as your machines dont have receipt paper) he then looked at me and the girl behind him said just gave them it to which he grabbed a random drink ( luckily it was the right one) and asked if this was the right one. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Never serve from hatch at this McDs, have 3 or 4 kids running about the car park delivering orders. Had to park up and wait for a cappuccino, farcical. Car park is a nightmare as it is ...... clue is in the badly spelled name 'Drive Thru' 🤷🏻‍♂️

Worst burger I've ever had... Won't return. I know it's just that shift, but it was really bad.

Unfortunately the meals come out of here like they've been assembled by a catapult, the last one was half off bun half all over the wrapper very poor show. What used to he a good enjoyable experience is now simply a stop gap if I need a quick bite on the go. I will say that the breakfasts are decent and well prepared shame about the rest of the meals.

Visited twice whilst in the area, 20+ mins waiting for orders. 1st visit was just a burger and I had to speak to the staff for them to give me my order. 2nd visit was for breakfast, again had to speak to staff because order number said collect, but I waited patiently for it to be called out, then it disappeared off the screen. I was told they were waiting for pancakes; there was a tower of pancakes and the Uber/just eat ordered where flying out. Just need to look at themselves and how they organise. Send like each person has their task and doesn't look at the other areas such as serving the food, so the food just stacks up.

This McDonald's Drive-Thru service is absolutely shocking. Waited over half an hour for a very small order only to end up having to go in and ask them to make it. They need to scrap the delivery service and prioritise customers actually coming to the premises

Definitely not fast food went to drive through with my Grandson as always asked to park up to wait for our order. 20 minutes later we got our food.

This is certainly the worst McDonalds drive through that I have ever had the misfortune to visit ! I had driven a long distance to visit family and wanted a quick bite to eat beforehand. First of all, I could not understand the first person that I came into contact with - not one word of English was recognised The burger was cold, lumpy and possibly undercooked. The fries were also cold, pale, and limp. They did not even smell right, as though the oil had not been at the right temperature andor needing changing. Totally disgusting and unacceptable. It all went into the bin.

Delivery driver parked close to the driver side of my car so my passenger was waving to get the food and the runner decided to squeeze up the side scratching my car with her unzipped jacket. Not very mindful, not very helpful. Very annoying 😑

Every single time I come here my order is wrong and always told to park up at drive through. Then I end up having to go inside and complain my order ain't right 👎

Don’t think there is a time when I’ve went through drive thru and not been asked to park up. Management really need to get this sorted as the whole reason I go through the driver thru is for quickness and not to sit in the car park for 10 mins whilst I wait for an item to be made. Only McDonald’s I know in Fife to do this too so clearly something is wrong.

Only issue they have so far is they continue to issue banana milkshakes when actually asked for chocolate 2 totally different flavours they confuse chocolate with banana I don't like banana milkshake yuk

Dirty, disgusting, can't even make a burger right. Every time an order either has something missing or there's something wrong with it. If you are starving I recommend dead seagull from the street .

When a takeaway has more immigrant Just Eat delivery drivers than eat in customers, letching at people, it no longer is a family friendly place, let alone the the wait time. This franchise desperately needs to rethink its priorities.

Visited at 12.30pm, place busy, quick service, food not hot only mildly warm, lots of young staff, can clearly see no motivation they seemed to be hiding or hanging about trying to look busy. We were there for about an hour. In our seating area not 1 table was cleaned neither the table top or floor area when these tables were vacated. I witnessed a young employee removed a high chair from the table behind me, it was not sprayed/ cleaned only put back in the corner I could clearly see the evidence of the childs food still on the tray and framework, absolutely disgusting, no wonder there are ongoing viruses in fast food diners if they don't spray and disinfect after each customer, McDonald's Kirkcaldy disgusting franchise..

The manager doing nothing walking around, putting my food on the table letting it cool while waiting for fries and the crew member just walking so slowly to grab the fries. Wait for a cheeseburger and one medium fried for 15mim. Wouldn't be back again.

Can't remember a time in the last three years that the receipt printers actually worked. The paving flags outside are covered in grease and look like they haven't been cleaned in the years.

This McDonald's is like no other, and not in a good way. Sauce all over the bag every time because they can not seem to wrap a burger properly and 3 even 4 pickles on a cheeseburger sometimes. "Can you just take a parking space and we will bring it out?" 30 minutes later the food comes out and guess what? Its cold because its sat for 30 minutes same as me. Glenrothes McDonalds, which is arguably busier, manage to serve at the window quickly with good quality food, and most other McDonald's for that matter. This place is just a disaster 95% of the time and i just don't see why. Where is the management here? The actual system is just tell people to park, how about train the staff to work more efficiently same as every other place? Take less deliveries i know you can switch off temporarily.

Ordered 2 9 nugget meals with strawberry milkshakes we received one large coke (didn’t order that) no milkshakes? And where are my McFlurrys? Disgraceful £10 of things missing I am fuming!

Service is shockingly slow, very little for the kids to do. Place is full of delivery drivers sitting down in kids area and standing at entrance. They seemed to get served before anyone else. Won’t be back to this McDonald’s with the family. Will try the one at Asda.

McDonald Kirkcaldy retail park :Strange experience night time they are serving only Drive through customers, went to first window it was closed, went to 2nd window collection point they sent back to first window no one there again knocked window because we ordered online via app just need collection. No one even checked online order. Overall very poor service.

Food was as to be expected but a little cold. The staff were amazing, very helpful and polite too. We went on a sunny day and it contributed to the place becoming a but of a greenhouse

Do yourself a favour and don't order from McDonalds Retail Park (order from asda instead), im a self employed delivery driver for just eat and every evening is the same story: Got a double order (the pay is £6.20 and I cover fuel, car maintenance and insurance) from this f.... place again at 5.35 PM (double order meaning two deliveries because Just Eat is a greedy company and now wants us self employed couriers do double the job for half the pay), just eat app said my double order would be ready at 5.49pm (aye right...). 6:00pm my first order is ready. 6.10pm im speaking to the first restaurant staff asking for the second order as the first one gets cold now, im getting told it will be coming shortly. 6.20pm im asking the manager where my order is as my first order is now cold. Im told it shouldn't take too long again. 6.30pm im told the second order has already been picked up (which is a lie because otherwise they wouldn't have the receipt for it, unless they mixed the bags up and attached wrong receipt to my actual order and gave it to some other courier) Honestly the staff in this place have NO bloody idea what they are doing.. in the end I got paid £3.10 for that first order which took me 50 minutes total and still gotta pay business costs from that. Told the customer food is freezing cold and to rate us and the restaurant as low as possible. I swear i will be taking them all to court and will be dumping this job because its almost same store every bloody evening... DO NOT ORDER DELIVERIES FROM MCDONALDS RETAIL PARK!!!!

Used drive thru was quiet still had to wait 5 minutes for 2 cheeseburger meas seems the default now to park up and wait for someone to bring out food,, Meal was cold would have taken it back but was at other end of retail park when passenger opened to find cold chips and cold cheeseburgers shocking after having to wait need a new manager never used to be like this poor show
