Afrikana in Leicester

My husband, son and sisters took me to Afrikana as a surprise dinner for Mother's Day. Zakia took us to the table we wanted, took our order and was really helpful in helping us decide which flavour to get when we asked for recommendations. She gave my son a fruit shoot and another lady (my apologies I didn't get her name, but I would like to thank her too!) she gave my son a lollipop. Zakia was really cheerful and her customer service was absolutely amazing! She made me want to come again! She was so friendly and always had a smile on her face! She is an asset to Afrikana! Thanks again!

The place is vibes and a really beautiful and service is good.I loved their drinks especially the island dream. Overall 10/10.

The food was great and enjoyed a nice family lunch. Our waitress Andra provided a wonderful service and I 100% recommend this restaurant.

We were served by Georgia, she was so kind, sweet and attentive… it really made our meal what it was… my father was quite elderly and not really used to louder sort of restaurants but she made him feel completely at ease. She was great!

We love Afrikana, it’s a regular dinner spot for us. Tonight were we served by Andra who was so welcoming, kind and lovely to have a laugh with. Food was spot on (as always), we will 100% be back again!

Food was good but the music meant that unable to hear the person next to you. Uncomfortable and really not pleasant as you I think the the concept is trying to achieve.

Afrikana is a delightful place with a vibrant atmosphere that immerses you in African culture. The standout, however, is undoubtedly Hanni, an exceptional staff member whose warmth and attentiveness enhance the overall experience. From recommendations to service, Hanni's dedication truly makes Afrikana a memorable destination However zaki and mina were meh.

I went to this really great restaurant recently, and it was amazing. The menu had a bunch of delicious options, and each dish was perfectly made. The atmosphere was nice and laid-back, making it a great family friendly spot. The staff was friendly and made the whole experience awesome. Honestly, it's a solid five stars from me, and I'll definitely be going back.

This fine dine location is great for a spot for a family meal as well as any other gathering. It’s also aesthetically pleasing for the gram & snap >> deffo recommend. Food came quick along side so many unique flavours that took me by surprise !!

Had a great time, I had island fish and chips. Tasty, bursting with flavour and not too over powering which enabled the spices to come together. I also had a mojito, again very tropical and cooling. Highly recommend a visit.
