Food ordered was not served as forgotten by staff coupled with cockroaches in the toilets made the dining experience an unsettling one even though food was generally tasty & served by friendly staff.

I really didn't enjoy the chaat and the masala dosa. The papri chaat was very ordinary, with no taste, very bland. The dosa was not crispy at all and slightly cold. They brought both the chaat and the dosa together. When i had told the waitress, we wanted the chaat first. They didn't bring my sons dosa until i finished mine. This i think is very bad service. Also, the sweet lassi was not really sweet and served in small glass. Being punjabi, we like our lassi in big glass. Need to try other dosa places in Rayners lane.

Whilst the food tasted good and the waitresses were very polite, courteous & pleasant, the wait for our food wasn’t! I had a veg samosa followed by a masala doser, which were very tasty. The chutney’s with the dosa were very good. The problem was my partner who had ordered a thali had to wait too long. I had eaten mine and had to sit watching him eat his. They should all come together at the same time!! Waitresses apologetic and did the best they could. Whoever is the chef has no sense of timing and clearly needs to be told. Pity as it ruined our experience.

It was our first visit to this restarant after trying many other South Indian restaurants in and around Rayners Lane Eastcote,Harrow, Wembley and Hounsow. The food and decor was acceptable but the service was terrible! It was Sunday evening and not partularly busy and yet one of the orders for uttampam was 45 minutes!! THe waitress made very lame excuses saying it takes longer to cook but not 45 minutes! She tried to fob us off istead of finding out from kitchen for the delay - ultimately she did tht but it was too late for us as we had waited far too long. what was to be an enjoyable evening, it turned out to be a terrible one! Iam afraid non-of us will be visiting this restaurant again! There are plenty of good restaurants locally with much better service!

The food is nice. Tasty. The menu doesnt really explain much so I don't think they are catering for a wide audience. Food price is fair but price of non-alcoholic drinks is outrageous. The quantity of the meals was good. Service isn't that good

Ordered lunch for 30 people, they responded to my calls and messages and I discussed with Kalyani about the order until closer to the actual date and then she totally vanished and stopped communicating. I had to order from elsewhere in the last minute. Will not recommend A2B

As soon as we saw the new restaurant, we went inside. Table was provided immediately, but to serve us it took more than 1/2 an hour. After ordering it took another 1/2 hour for the food. Even we thought, we should leave and go to Saravanabhavan our usual restaurant. The girls were pleasant, but the time it took was unbelievable. Whether we will come back to this restaurant is a question mark.

Absolutely very bad service. When I reached,I asked for table a staff told me there is 3 available but it was a reservation I waited for 10 minutes and another staff came straight away they even didn’t have any reservations but still got a table. Finally l got a table but they didn’t provide any tissues. When l asked she said ‘we don’t provide’!!! They provided the nan before the curry so when we got our curry the nan was super cold. When l took a take a way box we asked for a bag which they charged . This was a bad experience!!!!

Found it way too much sauce and too spicy! Cauliflower was mushy in the Manchurian and paneer was harder than should be in Manchurian. One thing good is quantity is great!

First and last time visit. Would not recommend. After a fairly pleasant invite in, we were seated and order taken, which we took the waiters recommendation of dosa & juice drinks. One drink arrived, the other after three reminders 30 mins later. Dosa was miserly filled. Overall very poor customer service and not value for money. Very disappointing.

I was there with a friend for lunch and don’t think will go again. We ordered chat and dosa and the waitress brought the dosa first and when asked she said that she forgot without any apologies. Dosa was average and sambar wasn’t enough to last a dosa. The chat was not tasty and the papri had gone soft. Service was poor and no one came to ask how everything was.

Came here recently for dinner for the first time, having heard about the new restaurant. The place has a nice vibe and is decorated nicely inside. We were seated quickly, and service was fast and friendly. Lots of menu options, and all the dishes we chose tasted great! Prices seemed reasonable for the quality and portion size too. So overall, a good first impression, no complaints!

My wife and I went to Adyar Ananda Bhavan A2B on their first day of opening. I think they had been open for a few days but this was their first ‘official’ opening. The ambience was just ok. There seemed a lot of people coming in but probably just curiosity as it was newly opened. Twice we had been brought food we hadn’t ordered and had to ask 3 different servers before some takeaway containers were brought to us. Most of the menus had pages missing, they had no Diet Coke (£1.99 per can!!) so stuck with the complementary tap water. I found it quite expensive compared to its competitors. £5.50 for a sub par starter Dahi Bhel puri, £3.75 for a glass of buttermilk and over £4 for an apple juice! It seems that the focus is on something other than food (£). Shame. We ordered a masala dhosa - 6/10 Dahi Bhel puri - 3/10 Paneer noodles - 9/10 Paneer Manchurian - 6/10 (hot!!!) The Bhel puri was predominantly made from cheaper ingredients. Hardly any potato or puri. Mostly puffed rice and chutneys. The noodles were nice (not that it’s possible to go wrong with them) and the Manchurian was really hot. I love hot food but this was another level. My wife tried it and couldn’t have any more. I found the restaurant expensive and nothing special. Overall, I’m not sure if I would rush to return. In my view, Saravanaa Bhavan still has the edge.

It was an unforgettable experience. Master Qianghua himself welcomed me with such warmth and attentiveness, guiding me to my table with great care. After settling in, he personally served me a delightful starter that set the tone for the meal. Then, I dove into my main course, which was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was a revelation. In all my years dining at countless restaurants, this place stands out as the best I’ve ever experienced. If you say "but—but the food," you're simply lying to yourself. This was, without a doubt, a once-in-a-lifetime culinary journey.

Edit: After whole year avoiding this place, I can say that I decided to try food again from this place and I feel speechless. I was really shocked when my husband brought me food and I ate all of it because it was really delicious, I couldn’t say that one year ago. But now! I’m so happy that finally they use old recipes which is really good. Noodles has been really yummy plenty of vegetables , meat was juicy (not dry like before). For now, I can highly recommend it! ———————————————————————— I am disappointed. I used to like their food until they changed boxes. They put a lot of rice and noodles and less toppings than before. Their noodles are so dry now and without vegetables which is odd, and also their noodles are tasteless. Maybe they changed kitchen chef but it’s worse than before. Staff working like robots, no smile and rushing customers. I’m sorry to say that, but now I don’t like it…

Card minimum is 12 when a meal is averaged for one person around 9 pounds The food is great however the front of house is so rude, She is always in a mood, always speaks with a disrespectful tone as if shes doesn’t want to be there. I’m a regular who like their food and my most recent encounter was the worst she dismissed me showing me the palm of her hand saying “I’m tired of listening to you”after I told her that I come every week and order the same food. why does she feel the need to get the last say!!
