Adlington spice ltd in Chorley

Got the exact same meal as I normally order which is usually really excellent. This time however it was positively revolting. The lamb was fatty and the sauce swimming in oil. It isn't the cheapest take away by a long chalk and it'll be a while before I choose this again.

I don't know how people can think this is a 3.7 it's the best Indian in Chorley area hands down the currys are tasty and the kababs are awesome I personally highly recommend !

Good food, just what you'd expect from an Indian takeaway.

Got a £9 mixed kebab, which are usually really good however all the meat was dry and smaller portion that you normally get, salad was lettuce, naan was decent though. Very disappointing!

Hit and miss this place. Used to be a worldy of a takeaway, but it's dropped of a bit in last year or so. Lamb chops used to be 10/10, as did King prawn puri and chicken pakora. Naan bread always decent. Score 13/20 overall..used to be 18/20 in 2019/2020.

Didn’t deliver the salad and sauce with the starters or tikka maincouse. I rang up and their reply was “no worries” and they put the phone down

Just picked up a meal for Christmas lunch, the food was first class. The time effort and preparation these guys put in to produce our food really has to be appreciated. Thank you to everyone working there. James

Disgusting even my dog turned his nose up at it they got order wrong and tried to blame us the food was awful had beer from asda missing items . Never again

I can only review on the large mixed kebab - yes it was large very large but hardly any salad and the whole thing was covered with a terrible red chilli sauce that made all the ingredients taste the same

The food is excellent but the website to order is not easy to use especially if you don't want to pay cash.

Had this for the first time living in horwich was one of the best Indians I have had in a long time very tasty and warm when it arrived and free delivery too will be ordering again thankyou

Ordered the set meal for 2 and it was good value for money, plenty of food to eat. Definitely value for money.

We had takeaway tonight from Adlington Spic. The food was great (as always) and the delivery driver was very pleasant 👍🏻

Ordered food and specified for food not to be added due to allergies, salad and peppers. When contacted by my partner the alleged owner was to consumed by me talking in the background and wanting to know what I’m saying rather than rectifying the order. Offered no solution immediately until challenged to which he began to raise his voice, and state it’s “only salad” despite this potentially causing allergies. The staff member/ manger and owner as he stated Tabir, rudely argued about the order. I’m still awaiting on the replacement order and extremely unimpressed with their attitude towards customers allergies and safety. I’ve used these in the past with no issues but won’t be ordering again, their service has majorly declined with both customer service and food quality.

Ordered at 6.50 pm still no food at 9pm and restaurant not answering phone, pure greed on a busy night. Won't be using again

Wouldn't reccomend look behind the shop before ordering it would put anyone off if that are that filthy out the back I would hate to see their kitchen

Not impressed with the Curry tonight. Ordered a Passanda, with a coconut rice. Passanda was bland and had literally no flavor to it. The coconut rice didn't taste of coconut! They did send out a different curry, with pilau rice, which was slightly better. Peshwari Naan bread was bland also. Save your money, not worth it for us on this occasion.

Food ok,but daylight robbery £5.50 delivery charges for delivery in Adlington,when its just around the corner.

£8.00 for king prawn chilli garlic balti. For that I would expect to find some Prawns in it. Not good value at all !!!

Absolute joke!!!.. Took two and half hours to deliver with cold food. When I rang up they said they had issues with the drivers and I was asked to collect, even through they charged £3 delivery. And the delivery driver didn't even apologise for the delay.. Piss take they are 😡

We travel from horwich to adlington as this is our favourite Indian take away, amazing food and a very Reasonable price!! We recommend the mega kebab £10 which will feed a family of 5 and the taste of India!! We have just finished our take away, was amazing!! See you guys soon

We ordered on delivery, my partner gives it a 5/5 , the korma was really appetising , big pieces of chicken but a lot of sauce , we got free onion bargees on delivery, 😊 the first time we've ordered from here and will definitely be getting a take out from here again,

Used Adlington Spice plenty times before. Disappointed with their meals tonight. The prices have increased, portions considerably smaller and the onion bhaji was over cooked and shrivelled to a third of its usual size.

The food I had tasted was good but £3.80 for about 50g of paneer tikka is a joke.

Absolute joke! Phoned up for collection, said 15 mins and been sat now waiting half an hour!😡

Myself and fifteen family and friends for the second year running have enjoyed the best Christmas Day with excellent food from Adlington Spice. Poppadoms, chutneys, any starter, main course, rice, naan bread and sweet all for £12.95. The food was excellent, piping hot and no complaints from anyone. Yes it is a takeaway but you can eat and relax, no rush to finish. 5*

If eating from here for first time and ordering the 'run of the mill', it could be seen as a good Indian takeaway. However from trying the different dishes (from mild to spicy dishes) everything really does taste the same! Same floury sauce with no freshness. No fresh ingredients apart from the salad what comes with starters. A shame as the owner and workers are friendly.

Customer service is appalling!!!!! Ordered a takeaway last night, had friends round.. Spent a good £35. My neighbour ordered a doner kebab. NO SALAD just sauce.. When it all arrived the kebab was caked in onions to which she absolutely hates onions and then had to wait another 25mins to be sent a fresh one, after everyone else has eaten! . Checked back on the menu and it does not state the kebab comes with onions.. Rang up to report the fact it had onions and was told well we fry everything, in future when ordering write a comment saying no onions!!! Discusting way of treating customers, maybe state in your menu contains onions!!!. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Absolutely beautiful curry and I wish I could rate 5 stars as the food deserves it, however the lack of customer service recently has brought my rating down somewhat, there used to be a guy early 20s (so helpful and polite) running the counter and phone however on recent orders it been someone differnt (less than helpful and quite short attitude in comparison), now I always order Thier lamb tikka lava(delicious by the way) however I like plenty fresh coriander on and never had issues previously however last few times I have asked they agree when I place the order but last 4 times I've ordered it has never come with it, ok no big deal the curry is worth it regardless. But these minor lapses in customer quality can be forgiven for the taste of the curry.... Until last night I order my curry and the wife's along with our sides including our usual veg samosas, when they delivered meat. I called to ask if I could send them back for veg and the guy answered the phone and called me a liar that I had ordered meat, now as I have a call recorder on my phone I insisted he was wrong and he agreed to send some veg samosas. When the delivery driver delivered them I said I didn't appreciate being called a liar, and the delivery driver started making excuses for him said he never said I was a liar. Again I notified the delivery driver I record all my calls so the call of the order and the call of me complaining the order was wrong are both recorded and he can feel free to come around himself listen to them both and apologize for calling me a liar! As I suspected not a word heard since! ADLINGTON SPICE SORT OUT YOUR STAFF! CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE JUST BE AS GOOD AS YOUR FOOD. AND THERES THE OTHER FRONT OF HOUSE GUY GONE? A BUSINESS LIKE YOURSELVES SURVIVES ON LOYAL & LOCAL TRADE DON SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU LOSE IT!

Ordered a takeaway online and didn't turn up waited way over a hour and nothing so annoyed why has this happened, ?tried ringing several times but no answer WHY? ,so annoying but the truth is we won't be using you again as customer service is apaling very disappointing very poor.. You really need to deliver when someone puts a order in........

We have ordered from here on numerous occasions. The Chicken Shashlick is to die for. We also had a Christmas lunch from there There was nineteen of us, they delivered, food piping hot and plentiful, absolutely no complaints We will definitely do it again if they do it next year .Brilliant value for money.

I didn't want to order from Adlington spice due to the past couple of time things being forgotten but my partner insisted!! Well I can honestly say we will not be ordering from here again as things we're missing from our order yet again to the point we couldn't sit and enjoy a meal together. After ringing them we were told someone would be with us straight away (we live 10 mins away) but yet 30 minutes later it arrived so our original order was cold and to top it all the rice and chips were cold when they arrived. So after years of ordering we won't be doing again!!!

Regularly visit this Indian take away, they make the best curry. Offering a varied menu with speciality dishes, it really is a treat. As a fan of hot curry, they get the spice level right, but more importantly the food is absolutely bursting with flavour. The portions are plenty, in fact, I'm already looking forward to a curry breakfast thanks to the king sized leftovers from the chilli massala.
