Adan Hand Crafted Pasta in Islington

Found this Italian gem when looking for an early evening dinner in Islington. Cosy and comfortable we were made very welcome by the very friendly young man doing front of house. We were attracted by the fact that they make all their pasta and sauces fresh every morning and use organic ingredients. We shared a very generous starter of garlic butter prawns and toasted sourdough. We then both had smoked salmon carbonara. Food absolutely delicious and well-presented. The kitchen is open so you can see your food being cooked to order. Very reasonable prices for such fresh, good quality food especially in London. Very short walk from the Angel tube station. we would highly recommend.

A small but nice restaurant with lovely pasta for what would be reasonable prices, if it was not for the 12.5% service charge automatically tagged on. Seriously? Just for two people. A shame as it was an otherwise lovely meal.

Lekker gegeten. De kwaliteit en meerwaarde van de zelfgemaakte pasta en pesto proef je eraan af. Vriendelijke bediening en zeer nette prijzen.

We were a party of four out for a birthday meal and had a wonderful evening. Everyone was delighted with their pasta dishes (you can see the pasta being freshly made and it tastes as good as it looks) and the green salad had one of the tangiest, most delicious dressings I've ever tasted. A home-made tiramisu was wonderfully rich and chocolatey and we liked the atmosphere so much we ordered a second bottle of wine instead of heading off to a pub as planned. It was all incredibly reasonable and we look forward to returning when we're next in London.

I loved this pasta!! I had the pancetta carbonara and my friend had the pistachio pasta. We sampled each other’s dish and loved them! It was all so fresh - you can see them make it because of the layout. It was brilliant! The service was attentive and welcoming - they were so lovely and made sure we were happy. This was a wonderful spot for dinner! We both loved it.

Lovely place we really enjoyed the fresh pasta and the lovely atmosphere. We order salad and pasta dishes they all were delicious definitely go back

Recently opened! Great pasta, very tasty and fresh. Owner is such a lovely guy. Warm welcoming, polite and we were given an extra dish for our 18 month old daughter - Very thoughtful We will definitely go back!
