Oi Vita Pizzeria in Islington

Regrettably, I can't align with the abundance of 5-star ratings this time. Although the pizzas appeared well-cooked and appealing, the taste left much to be desired. The marinara pizza was notably bland, lacking the usual enjoyment I find in a garlic-infused tomato sauce. Opting for a calzone didn't rescue the experience, as the filling's ingredients failed to shine due to a significant lack of flavor. On a positive note, the service was pleasant and courteous, and the restaurant exudes a cozy atmosphere. It's a bit disheartening; hopefully, they can enhance the quality of their ingredients.

Never disappointed! I have been going there for five years and the quality is always on point. The dough is perfect and the ingredients are fresh. Very friendly service as well.

There's normal pizza and then there's Oi Vita. Tremendous. You won't find better pizza outside of Italy. It's a pizzeria and they're very good at creating delicious, imaginative, and generously-sized pizzas. Absolutely rammed on a Friday night with a 6-deep queue of food couriers going out the door. All with a revered picture of Nona watching over proceedings. Try it. You won't regret it.

What a discovery!! Amazing authentic pizza with high quality ingredients. We had pizza siciliana and pizza spicy burrata, they were both top-notch! We felt light after the pizza meaning the dough was really good too. Pleasant atmosphere, nice staff and friendly manager. Desserts also were delicious (tiramisù and bocconcini con nutella). We will go back for sure!

Cracking authentic pizza and very friendly staff

We dined in this pizzeria during our trip, the ambient is actually warm and welcoming. To begin, they offered us a burrata with it's salad to celebrate New Year's Eve ! The beverages were also enjoyable, don't hesitate to try their homemade limonade and their beer. The pizzas were amazing, they are easily the most delicious pizzas we've ever tasted :-) The good quality ingredients were tasteful. The various recipes were well balanced, the base was soft and thin. We loved it ! The desserts are also homemade and delicious, we had a rhum baba' and a tiramisu. We highly recommend you to book a table on their website since it's well known and sits are limited.

From the moment we set foot in this location we were treated wonderfully by the staff, who offered exceptional service. From the ability to answer awkward questions, to the sheer enthusiasm of the staff, dining here was a pleasure.

The pizza and wine here was great, along with the service. However, the deconstructed pistachio tiramisu was a huge disappointment! As the menu states, it is ‘deconstructed’ which causes a massive hassle trying to create and eat this dessert. Also be aware that the coffee intended for dipping the biscuit into has no amaretto or Marsala wine (which I understand is the traditional recipe, but sometimes the alcohol taste is appreciated). I hope this constructive feedback can persuade the restaurant to include a traditional tiramisu that has set for a few hours in the fridge!

We had a delightful experience at Oi Vita Pizzeria! Francesco, our waiter, provided excellent service with a friendly demeanor. All five of us loved our pizzas, each one showcasing authentic Italian flavors. The garlic breads were 10/10 also. The charming atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. To top it off, the lemon sorbet was excellent. A must-visit spot for anyone craving a taste of Italy in London.

When you were not a pizza restaurant mainly focus on deliveries, you were excellent! From there, switching to a larger volume of work, you became sadly just an average pizza restaurant as many others in the area, but with super overpriced menu items. Not managed very well at all. The only thing which remained good as before , is your babà!!

Really fantastic pizza, cosy authentic place. A bit expensive but worth for having a real pizza once in a while. Best of all: it travels well (for short distances!) so great take away/delivery option as well.

Hidden gem, authentic pizza enthusiasts with their unique light&thin pizza dough, great staff too. Very good pastiera. Limited tables so book ahead (or call) to avoid disappointment. The only negative bit are starters, they used to feature montanarine, now only basic dishes.

The pizzas here are truly authentic and absolutely finger licking good. Loads of options on the menu for every single taste. Also worth to mention that the customer service here is very special - the staff makes you feel cozy and taken care of.

My partner and I we spent a beautiful night in this pizzeria, we’ll definitely come back. The food was fantastic, and they truly excel in creating perfect Neapolitan-style pizzas. The owner is not only friendly but also provides a thorough explanation of the menu. We tried the pork belly pizza with fior di latte along with the salad, and it was nothing short of amazing. The pizza dough was cooked to perfection. I will undoubtedly return to this place. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a carafe of wine, and the grand finale was the exceptional rum baba dessert. Oi Vita Pizzeria offers a delightful culinary journey that I highly recommend!

Honestly best pizza in London hands down. Ingredient sourcing feels top notch. Great tomatoes, excellent olives and the flour used must be specifically sourced. Dough is great with high hydration resulting to a soft airy dough. Order a margarita and let is surprise you.

I am visiting London for the first time and I found this lovely pizza place. People here treat you like a friend, and the service is fantastic. I met Selvin, Franklin, Camila and Alexia's staff members and also the manager, and they were so lovely to me. I tried the Sicilian pizza and a cocktail, and I loved the pizza; it is one of the best pizzas I have eaten! The cocktail wasn't the best to my taste, but the manager approached to me, and once he knew I didn't like it, he kindly offered me another drink. I can't recommend this lovely place enough to everyone if you are in the area. The ambiance is relaxing, nice, and welcoming! Our favourite pizzeria in London - we try to come at least once a month! They have the best vegan cheese I have ever tasted. My go-to is the Oi Vegan. Super friendly staff.

Delicious pizza with good vegetarian and vegan options, too. The staff are so nice and friendly, they really make you feel welcome. The restaurant is small, so it can feel a bit crowded and loud, but the atmosphere is very warm and friendly, so this makes up for it!

Amazing food and service and great value for money! Oi Vita is a great Italian restaurant, our first choice when my girlfriend and I decide to go out! All the ingredients are fresh and coming straight from Italy which really makes a difference. The pizza Frusta is our personal favourite... If you feel like good food with a cosy and friendly atmosphere I would definitely recommend Oi Vita!

The best pizza outside Naples, highly recomended!

Good pizza, friendly service, good atmosphere. The pizza dough, as explained by the staff, is not made with flour 00 like usual pizza but farina Petra, much more nutricious. If you like the napolitan style, with higher boarders I recommend. Very good tiramisu (not a lot of coffee which I prefer). They also have crodino (very Italian non alcoholic drink with a similar taste to aperol). They also have vegan options with rice milk mozzarella. I recommend to book in advance as on a Saturday evening it was full.

I went here to meet a friend for dinner with my 14 month old. We’d booked for 6.30pm but had to shift our booking to 7pm as my friend was running late. I’d tried to go here about 6 months earlier but they weren’t open for lunch. According to my friend, they’d won a pizza festival (who even knew such things existed!) so we had high expectations! Knowing we had a little one with us, they’d set up our table with a high chair which was much appreciated. The menu has a lot of choice but we ended up choosing a couple of pizzas to share from their specials which changes every couple of months I believe. We chose the garlic bread to start with (it’s vegan which is fab because my little one has a dairy allergy), plus two pizzas from the specials. One had a butternut squash base with goats cheese, tomato and basil, and the other had a garlicky green base with mozzarella, tomato and olives. I was happy to let my friend choose and while I wouldn’t have gone for the butternut squash one myself, it was delicious. They both were. Bases are thin and flavours are fresh and interesting. Couldn’t get enough of the crust dipping sauces - we went for the cheesy one and the garlic truffle Mayo. A lot of garlic was consumed that night! The homemade limonata was refreshing and just sweet enough - I’m not a fan of really sugary drinks so this was perfect. It took a while for our pizzas to arrive - but this was down to a lack of us realising that they were waiting for us to finish the garlic bread first (we were saving space for the main event!) We were also told in a very reasonable way that they needed our table and our booking was for a certain time only. The place is small and was quite quiet when we arrived but was definitely buzzing by the time we left. It’s the small touches which really make a place and I loved that because they knew we were sharing the pizzas, they’d already halved them for us and plated them up. Had a lovely meal and was pleased to have tried the food finally! Now I just need to go back for dessert!

La pizza è tra le migliori provate fin'ora a Londra, impasto leggero e soffice, ingredienti di prima qualità, insomma una pizza come Dio comanda. Menzione speciale per la splendida cameriera con il septum al naso che ci ha serviti (penso di aver sentito alcuni colleghi chiamarla Marta ma non ne sono certo), bella, solare, gentile e premurosa! In generale una bellissima esperienza, 10/10!

I am so happy Oi Vita has expanded their delivery coverage area!! I used to live close to them and eat their pizza every Friday, but since I moved to my new place I didn’t eat pizza anywhere else because nothing compares to Oi Vita. I can’t emphasise enough how happy I am that I am able to eat their pizza again!! Best pizza in London!!

What a lovely place! I had the siciliana pizza with the garlic truffle dipping sauce and everything was delicious. The service from Francesco and Marta was also so caring and friendly. My partner loved his vegan pizza too! We would definitely come back here, it was such a warm vibe with great food.

A perfect dining experience here on Saturday evening. We turned up without a booking and they managed to squeeze us in on an extremely busy night. The service from start to finish was exceptional. Friendly, attentive and informative. Rarely experienced better service to be honest. The food was incredible, the special of ragu pizza especially is worth a mention - outstanding. Hopefully it becomes a staple on the regular menu. Nothing even remotely negative to say - wonderful!!

@oivitapizzeria in north London is the best Pizzeria I’ve been to! Their dough is made with high quality flour, they use only the best ingredients. It’s an authentic Italian pizzeria from starters to desserts. Some delicious and cheeky starters. I tried “Che spettacolo” and “Spicy BURRATA” and they both were excellent. Pastiera Napoletana and the tiramisù Pistacchio were exquisite. Honestly - that tiramisu will live rent-free in my head FOREVER 💚 Last but not least - let’s take a moment to appreciate the beautiful graffiti made by @francesca_cerri_ you’re so talented! 🥰 Service so friendly and welcoming. This place jumped on my top 5 restaurants in London’s list! 🥰

The best pizza (and basil mayo) I’ve had in London!

Is Oi Vita dishing out conversion therapy as well as pizzas? Because I think I now love pizza! We had the Capricciosa and the pizza base is worth a notable mention, it's elastic, light, great chewyness and has a grainy texture from the wholewheat blend flour and (importantly for me) not too burnt on the base and crust. I don't normally eat the crust (carbs!) but I was compelled! I also understand why they have crust dips as extras, it's really worth the calories and all. It's no surprise that they've recently won first place at the coveted London Pizza festival!

Vibrant atmosphere with a very friendly and welcoming staff, while the traditional neapolitan style pizza is one of the greatest in London, must try! The team proactively assisted and the manager entertained the 4 of us with a pleasant conversation. Shame on us that since 5 years we are in London we came for the first time only last Saturday!
