Tiny, cosy place serving up some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten. Do not be put off by the modest exterior -- once you start eating, you will be amazed.

I have been coming to this Italian cafe every morning for the past year for my coffee and can safely say it’s the best in the area!! Not only that, the food is incredible. The owner cooks a variety of fresh (usually Italian) food every morning and it’s absolutely delicious. Last night the owner put on a special private dinner for us as we are leaving the area…. I was blown away by the quality of the produce that was used. It literally felt like we were in Italy. Thank you Eglel for such a beautiful experience for our final week in Finsbury Park! We’ll miss you and the team and Girasole!

Girasole taste of Italy. after having my first dinner there, I completely got the meaning of its name. Girasole is the name of sunflower in italian and nothing is more appropriate to get the point of the energy that you'll find in that place. Eglal. the owner, is a warm, sweet and adorable person who introduces her concept professionally and passionately. Everything is nice there and you feel immediately into a lovely and familiar place. Like sunflowers follow the ray of sun's light, at the same way, you'll be captured from the Eglal's smile and the dishe's smells where you'll see all shade of Italian's colours and tastes too. I found this place by chance and definitely it was a lucky chance. Unfortunately, there is a side effect! you can't have enough and you might risk to become addicted of it! I highly recommend this place . 5 stars !!!

We had an absolutely delightful experience at Girasole yesterday. From the moment we stepped in, Federica and Yulia provided exceptional service, making me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the meal. The lasagne was a culinary masterpiece; each bite was bursting with rich flavors and perfectly cooked pasta. To complement the meal, the coffee was truly delicious, leaving a lingering and satisfying aftertaste. The interior was wonderfully cosy, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall dining pleasure. I can't wait to return to Girasole for another memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

We have had the pleasure of attending 2 of Girasole's evening supper clubs so far (they are normally every other Saturday) and both times it's been fantastic. Love the local vibes, great and interesting takes on dishes. Eglal is amazing and makes the evenings very entertaining and enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend taking advantage of this local gem if you get the chance.

Had a stunning dinner here last night. An intimate setting surrounded by shelves of Italian treats expertly chosen by the all-Italian team at Girasole. Each course is beautifully presented and served with an attentive but relaxed front of house. The dishes are perfectly balanced and the menu chosen with care. The menu also caters well for vegetarians. Perfect evening for an intimate date or take over for a birthday party. Cannot recommend enough, a slice of Italy in N7.

We had an amazing private dinner at Girasole. The ambiance was great, service excellent, well selected wines and the food delicious. Very affordable for the amount and quality of foods. Definitely recommend visiting Egle and her team for your next special occasion or for delicious italian goodies!

My favorite cafe in London! I come in for my morning coffee and am met with great service and great coffee. The manager is also an amazing chef, you can tell she is very passionate in everything she does!!... Surprisingly also Girasole Taste of Italy takes dinner booking. I have booked my Valentines dinner and it was really amazing. We have been served a delicious pre starter and a glass of prosecco as a welcome. My highlight dish was the Lamb. Its was great experience. Highly recommended 👌

We had a three course meal, prawns as starters, risotto with lobster and tiramisu. Service was great, high quality food and dishes well presented. Hugely recommended.

We had a 3 courses meal for our San Valentine and I cannot recommend enough Girasole. We really enjoyed our dinner, amazing atmosphere and the staff are friendly and very professional. I'll come back again for sure. I'm still thinking about the Lobster risotto, a mix of different flavors. Well done to Eglel and her team.

The atmosphere is so cozy and the food is AMAZING! Definitely a go to if your in the area, wether your just grabbing a pastry and coffee or having an Italian light lunch. I've been a customer for years and couldn't imagine the neighborhood without this gem.

I was on a course around the corner and most of us on this course came to this cafe for a coffee and treats The staff are friendly and the coffee is the best! I love my oat milk latte served here I loved the wooden and nature decor. So cosy and warm Great service and great find Thanks to Egle

We went in for a short cake. But the atmosphere was so lovely, environment clean, and staff were nice and friendly. That we ended up staying longer. Having various herbal tea and relaxing and chatting.

We came across Girasole via Groupon but thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there. It was so intimate and food was delicious. The ingredients used were explained to us when served and food cooked only upon ordering. Was a opportunity to feel like you’re were escaping London for a night and would happily go again.

We came to this place a few times, we just love it. Their coffee is one of the best Italian coffee in London by far (& I am fussy).. I loooove their fresh croissants in the morning and their tarts are to die for. The staff is welcoming and shows Attention to details, the place is warm & super cute. Today we were lucky enough to get a very special treat with a fresh dish prepared just for us for lunch (Super spoiled), the presentation was artistic & the food was flavoursome, delicate & creative. Egle (the owner & chef) will go out of her way to make you feel looked after. Her genuine interest for foods and recipes shows and ohh She CAN cook! Honest & authentic, this place is just a gem! Egle organises private dinners too (couples, small groups) in the evening and she offers a very tailored menu at very reasonable prices. This place is special indeed... & although I did not want to tell anyone because I am worried you will take all the croissants in the morning... ultimately... Sharing is Caring!

what a lovely place ! small and cosy with a great atmosphere. the owners are extremely nice people and you can easily tell that the lady is very passionate about food. I was even offered to get a different type of risotto than the one in menu and it was delicious. great wine as well 😉 on top of that, not expensive at all, definitely coming back next time I'm in London !

Best cappuccino in London, lovely cakes and special breakfast!!

I went to this ‘authentic Italian’ cafe to pick up some cannoli for the trip home yesterday. Oh boy and they are so bad I have never tasted anything that terrible in my all entire life!! I’m so disappointed and if I wasn’t 100 miles away I would of return it to the shop. Not only they cannoli are bone hard they are full of artificial fillings and the main taste is sugar. Nothing like a cannoli they have promised and nothing I know and pretty much those are pretty much non edible!! Spending a lot of money those still ended up in the bin at home giving me stomach ache after only a few bites. Avoid at all cost. Maybe other things they offer are tasty but I won’t be returning. I wanted to add the girl on the till wanted to give me too short change as she couldn’t add up the basic math up to £20..... very poor.

I went here for the Italian tea. As well as tea I had a mix of filled ciabattas, cannolis, bread and home made jam. All very nice.

Eating here in the evening was a fabulous experience. The food was exceptional and very well presented. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was romantic.

I found this place as a unique non-mainstream coffee spots with Italian specialty pastries and cosy laid back vibe and it's own soul. Recently I have learnt they have started serving dinners, so me and my girlfriend decided to try it out, as we are not big fans of fancy big places or posh ones. And the evening was perfect, low light, candles, cosy little place, Owner and the Chef treating us to a true honest food that makes you want to smile it so good. I had a mushroom palenta with a beautiful hint of truffles to start and seafood pasta with generous selection from shellfish to shrimps and creamy-tomatoety sauce. My girlfriend had a starter of quinoa beetroot salsa with goat cheese, this was unexpected and more of a high cuisine type of dish, done perfect! As a main she picked spinach sheet lasagna with pancetta, delish again) Oh yeah and all that accompanied by Aperols and good wine too. I am not a dessert person but went for it and it was worth it. All in all, my type of place, about good evening of food and great time, without the pretentious socialising noisy bit.
