Absolutely BANGING every time! I could eat this Gyros everyday. We eat here every match day for Newcastle United and never had a bad meal. Great Vibe. Greek staff — incredible, very friendly and accommodating! Keep smashing it lads! See you soon. 5 stars!

We had a Tray of Troy takeaway from Acropolis Street Food at the Stack in Seaburn , Sunderland . It served 4 people easily , it was a tasty meal , it’s my 12 year old daughters takeaway of choice . We were served by Sam who was polite and as friendly as ever .

This report relates to the Grainger Street market branch. Wrap up warm, a rather cold venue in winter. place. Average tzatziki with pita bread and a Greek salad we consumed with sparkly water £11.80.

Fabulous meal!!! We had ordered the tray which was £15.00 and had a selection of pitta bread, chips,chicken, fresh salad and three dips. It was amazingly tasty and fresh.

Absolutely beautiful food!! We shared a chicken gyros and the halloumi bites with fries etc and it was so so good!! Portions are huge so great value for money too. Will definitely be back!

We decided to have a chicken Gyros from here to go with a drink ,What a big mistake This was the most disgusting pile of cheap crap i have ever tried eating ..It was a piece of flatbread covered with freezing cold fries and dry chicken that was like chewing matches i literally had two bites and threw the rest in the bin . Why do these owners sell folks this muck at extortionary prices .Do not eat food from here unless your a rat ,,

The service was really good and quick there wasn’t a long line waiting even though there were many costumes and the food was so good. I see my self going back again and again. I recommend this place to everyone.

Visited today in the stack store, young lad served us. Food was delicious (we got chicken gyros with extra halloumi) and the service was fantastic. 10/10

Went for lunch in the Grainger Market Acropolis today. We had Gyros and it was delicious street food, service was quick and staff were lovely, they were also buzzing around cleaning all tables regularly.

We had the chicken tray and the dirty Greek. It was the best kebab we had in a long time. The meat was fresh and delicious, very well seasoned and the sauces very tasty as well. Such a gem of a place! We will definitely come back when visiting Newcastle again.

Partner and I have been waiting for authentic Greek food on Deliveroo for ages, it’s finally here! We ordered a Platter of Troy, which was delicious but missed any sauce. We rang the restaurant, and they couldn’t apologise enough! They gifted us a free platter of Troy box next time we ordered. Placed that order today; very polite on the phone, remembered us from the previous order, arrived very quickly! Excellent service and great food!

The first time we have had takeaway from Acropolis and it was........ the worst takeaway I've ever had! A mess of beige lukewarm crap! I'm never going there again! Threw most of the food in the bin, what an absolute waste of money

We visited the grainger market and came across this take-away so decided to have one for lunch. I ordered my husband and I the Chicken gyros trays with extra halloumi each, my god I think there was enough food in the box to feed me for a week! And totally regretted getting one each, as amazing as it was, I didn’t like the waste but there was no way I could manage the whole thing! Will definitely be back and the kids enjoyed their meals!

I just had a gyros from Acropolis Street food when they visited my village and cannot wait for their return. The guys serving were really friendly and the food when I got home was piping hot and absolutely delicious. REALLY recommended. Thankyou.

I am so impressed, the food from here was truly fantastic, the service great and the people lovely and super value for money. I would buy from their pop-up kitchen any day and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone... A great experience thank you!

Me encanta la comida griega, así que decidimos visitar la Acrópolis, no la sucursal de Newcastle, sino el nuevo lugar en la pila en Seaburn. We swung by the Grainger Market and spotted Acropolis. We enjoy a good gyros so we decided this would be our lunch spot. We decided to get a gyros and a kalamaki, and share them. They were both really good. It's a nice little gem!

Top people still a great service at a time like this (covid19) they are delivering so keep these guys busy you will not be disappointed! ☆☆☆☆☆

Piatto magnifico, prezzo più che giusto. Staff molto gentile. Unica nota dolente è stato dover mangiare con la paura che un paio di ladri si aggirassero nei dintorni, ovviamente non colpa del ristorante ma ciò ha fatto mandare il boccone di traverso.

First visit today on the Quayside Market and all I can say is Wow! I had the chicken gyros and it was so filling and extremely tasty! I would 100% recommend them and will be back again very soon! All of them had a zest for their job and very friendly. Thanks guys!

Can’t fault this place. Been a few times now and on every occasion the food has been excellent. Fresh tasty ingredients and all at a reasonable price considering the quality of the food.

I love Greek food, I know what I'm talking about as I was raised on it! Souvlaki to a Greek is serious business, it'd better be fresh, and be tasty! The guys at Acropolis don't dissapoint, fresh, delicious souvlaki, the way it should be.

Being a greek myself and often craving greek traditional street food couldn't feel any happier when i discovered this little street market gem! Excellent meat quality and hygiene standards,these fellas manage to bring a taste of greece on the road. Totally recommended to all my friends as they have a good selection of vegeterian options as well. Will revisit soon!

Flawless chicken gyros delivered by Acropolis Street Food, Authentic indeed as advertised! Good ammount of ingredients, and the price is similar to all the stalls in the market and they have vegeterian choices too, although I haven't tried any yet!
