When you walk through the door your in two minds to walk out ,I wish I did it’s a late night pissed up kebab ,I got mine at 4pm and through it in the bin at 4.05pm

I absolutely love the food here. The pork Souvlaki is my recommendation whenever anyone asks. One of the best take aways in Halifax. The guys are lovely too. 10/10

Fabulous food from this inauspicious takeaway. Called in here after a night at The Piece Hall, expecting the usual kebab and chips type offer. However there is a decent menu choice beyond the basics. We both ordered the souvlaki, one chicken, one mixed. The lovely girl serving explained it would be 20/25 minutes but we weren’t in a hurry. Boy was it worth the wait. Freshly cooked, watched them grilling, generous portions of some of the best souvlaki I’ve had, including in Greece itself. Fresh salad, great flatbreads and wonderful tzatziki. A brilliant end to our evening! Fabulous!

Random visit last night after beers at Vocation and Co., and what a pleasant surprise! Really nice chicken wrap, very tasty and nicely done! Will definitely be our late-night go-to next time! :-)

We called in after rag n bone man at the piece hall and we were not disappointed. The vine leaves were gorgeous, the chicken Kebab and chicken gyros were yummy. Guys were really friendly snd work hard on the heat behind there. Definitely be back 👍

Amazing food and staff, went in there tonight to order take away. One of the staff noticed that I had a very minor hand injury and provided me with plasters, your kindness and attention to detail was very much appreciated!

Very disappointed with my experience from this place. Firstly it’s quite clear they don’t want to use kebab skewered meat as when I asked the chap said it would take twenty mins even though I was the only order but I persisted as the so called meat spinning around looked like it had been there since Xmas. The then took the meat out of the freezer so it’s not even fresh and tbh tasted like rubber, really poor quality frozen meat is not worth ten pounds. Shame as the place was very convenient on the way home from work but won’t be returning.

I grew to love a local Greek place in Reading when I lived there- and when I moved up here was really sad I could t fine another- until we tried here! Absolutely perfect, so fresh and hot and tasty. We will 100% be coming back again. Thank you Acropolis !! We had the pork gyros portion 👌

Had a delivery this evening of 2 shwarmas and a Greek salad. Just awful. One shwarma had bits if what tasted like dry crispy salty chicken in with no sauce and the second had a small kebab sausage with no sauce. The Greek salad was ridiculous. It was in a tiny box and for 3 pounds 50 I expected more than a half chopped tomato, 4 dry olives, a tiny slab of feta and green peppers. My husband is currently going between sitting with stomach ache and running to the loo. I thankfully picked at mine and left the majority of it. Never again.

The best takeaway in town you should try it everything fresh and the stuf is very polite and very fast to the work keep going 💪💪💪

I was here few times. Every time food is tasty and fresh. I really like this place. Staff In the cafe is friendly. The best food is here.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the food. They do not appreciate however. that there are 100 places I can walk into in this town and get food in under 15 minutes. If they want to take an hour or more to serve up a gyros that is their choice. but they won't be in business in 6 months if they continue to do so. They are clearly out of their depth in terms of UK customer expectation.

So called here last week with my wife and got 2 gyros to takeaway whilst in the shop the staff advised us to order direct as delivery times would be quicker we took our food and went home absolutely gorgeous and plenty. Jump forward a week we ordered this time for all the family and what a difference the food took nearly 2 hrs to arrive and if this had been my 1st experience it would definitely be my last , bread was dry there wasn’t enough meat on both gyros to fill one but hey oh at least all the chips padded the bread out . I could go on but I won’t needless to say won’t be ordering again what went wrong guys how could I have 2 totally different experiences within a week ??? Really really disappointed.

The customer service was great The presentation was amazing and.food quality was outstanding. Overall best takeaway been to I halifax since last year.

We used this place several times and the food is nice, however the long wait is ridiculous. Sometimes it’s 30 mins for a gyros. They are always under staffed and they don’t communicate. If they’re busy, then they should explain to the customer/s and put...

Friday night in Halifax and just went past this lovely takeaway:) I got the mix gyros box and my wife had the chicken souvlaki very nice and fresh, looking forward for next visit:)
