Amazing pastries and desserts at a reasonable price!

Paid extra for food to be warmed up, it was takeaway and was barely Luke warm. Staff appeared surly and underhand. Food wasn't particularly tasty.

Great spanakopita, Greek music playing, very friendly staff, coffee smelled amazing!

Best spot for a quick bite and something to drink. Everything was very well crafted and full of flavour. My favourite was the spinach and feta pastry, orange cake and the camomile tea. Staff was also very friendly.

I LOVE ACROPOLIS! I lived on Holloway road while I studied abroad in London, and ate here a number of times during my time here. Amazing service, food, and an incredibly welcoming environment!

Wonderful selection of traditional Greek food and lovely coffee

I don't like the new recipe of the chocolate mousse :( the old one was perfection, I used to order it so much.

Wonderful traditional bakery where you can always go and be surprised with a new delicious cake or perfect biscuits served with genuine care and sense of community. I love also the savoury options, you should try the spanakopita.

The order wasnt delivered, called the restaurant and the woman (arella) over the phone said there was nothing they could do. waste of time. avoid this place

There was really nice cakes and pastries at a very reasonable price. Service was good and even put up with us taking a little while to decide what we wanted to order as there were so many options. Really enjoyed the food. Only thing was a person was smoking out the front and as we were sat inside near the entrance we could smell the smoke.

Absolutely amazing cakes and incredibly good customer service. The staff could not be any more helpful. They move tables around so that we could fit a wheelchair in and they allowed our dog in.

Everything is delicious and the waitress is really kind. Very recommend!

Everything was perfect!!! The service was 10/10. The food was excellent and the workers were incredibly sweet. I’m definitely coming here again. The carrot cake was fresh and made well. The biscoff milkshake was refreshing and not too heavy.

Went here the other day, to be honest, the food really wasn't for me, they were using synthetic cream in their cakes i believe (thats what it tasted like) quite pricey, peaceful atmosphere and the service was amazing. People there are so nice

The spinach and feta pie was amazing. The ladies pre-heated it for us and we're very nice and friendly. The experience was very good and the whole staff were very nice and friendly.

The only downside here is the fact that one of the women, (shoulder length black hair) particularly finds it amusing to talk about people. Otherwise I love the ambience and coffee.

Club sandwich was very disappointing. Way too much mayo, and comes with salt and vinegar crisp sticks not chips!

Hoooowwwwww have I not gone here before? I've walked by it a hundred times! My excuse is that Acropolis has a large heating structure for savouries that blocks the view of an INCREDIBLE cornucopia of sweets and delicacies piled high and thick. I wish I had known about that before! The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the entire ambiance is just very cozy. Lovely coffee and crêpes. But seriously, the sweets... Stunning. If half the people who are packed in the bistro next door come here instead, they would find themselves very, very full and very, very happy.

The food arrived Cold. I don’t like mayo I asked for mustard. The chips were crisps. It all went in the bin. I couldn’t eat that.

Just back from my first holiday to Thessaloniki, wanted to try a Bougatsa with Feta, was very friendly and the Bougatsa was fabulous!. Will definitely be back when working in the area, really nice place and lovely staff.

Frappe was disgusting and not a Frappe received an iced americano with a bit of cream floating on top asked for sweet there is no sugar and then to open my food and there are no chips but a few crisps have been thrown on top of my sandwiches is taking the mick dissapointed to say the least

I’m a Greek-American living in the area without my family. I was feeling particularly homesick Saturday and decided to stop by. I’m glad I did because the service was wonderful and the food was incredible. There’s nothing like Hellenic hospitality and that’s certainly something you can find at Acropolis Bakery.

Surprised by those who comment on the friendly service as this has not been my experience the past few times I have visited. They seem to resent having to make the crepes - I was met with such a hostile response when i placed my order today that I cancelled and went elsewhere. Why do they have them on the menu if the staff are unable or unwilling to make them? It seemed to be too much effort for them and they did not even take my drink order when I remained standing at the till. At least this led me to discover the excellent Beans and Cream nearby. Such a shame as these surly waitresses really let down what used to be an excellent establishment and have lost a regular customer.

Fantastic cafe that I've been going to for a while now. Lovely staff, great coffee and amazing food. The cream bougatsa is particularly delicious. Makes you nostalgic for Greece.

The worst service! The delivery time was 50 minutes late. The delivery guy very rude and utterly unprofessional!

Second time I decided to add a pastry to my coffee. Coffee is always great however they always serve before regular guests or Greeks even if you are in line. Pastries are good but they don't know ingredients correctly. I bought a ham and cheese pastry last week and was not told there was tomato sauce in it. Not good for allergy. Today I bought a muffin, asked it there was any cinnamon because I don't like and was reassured there wasn't, however there was. Again very bad for allergy! They should know better!

Club sandwich came without any chips as advertised and the middle piece of bread was the crust of the loaf. Untoasted and so thick and hard, I and to pull it out and throw away.

Aladdin's cave for all with a sweet tooth, especially for Greek sweets. Tsourekia, Kourampiedes, Melomakarona, Pastes, Baklavas, Kataifi, Sokolates, etc. Also nice bougatsa, and all sorts of Greek pies. Good menu with Cpepes and breakfast. Excellent Fredo Espresso coffee. Small seating area inside and outside. Friendly, accommodating Greek staff, and a hospitable owner. Prices are excellent. A fan already.

Very quick delivery and tasty, delicious, warm fresh food. Just as if I was in Greece . Recommend.

Awful food and service! I ordered a club sandwich and came without chips instead had some crisps! Also, an eclair, which was dry and hard to eat, not fresh at all!

The chicken club was lovely. I wasn’t to keep on the chips tho. Unfortunately i was sent a chicken bagel and not the baguette as advertised. The dark chocolate cake is not a cake. It’s more of a mouse covered in dark thick choc icing. Didn’t like it

You can usually get 1-2 different vegan pies (spinach or leek) which are really tasty and good value

I love the place. Go for my morning coffee every day of the week. The staff is some of the most welcoming I’ve ever seen in this country

On this sunny Sunday I treated myself to one of the finest non-dairy mochas ever! Also enjoyed a fine chicken club sandwich. The staff are welcoming and attentive. Definitely coming back before too long!👌🏾🤓

Good variety of tasty food. They also do magic bags on Too good to go app.

Overpriced with basic customer service. Main problem was that what I bought was stale and not of good quality. I would not mind spending a little more but for a good and honest product.

So incredibly disappointing after seeing previous good reviews. Food arrived cold with several either missing or not as described ingredients, with no contact or explanation as to why. The small amount of ingredients that did arrive looked previously cooked and of bad quality.

I passed by this bakery today and decided to stop for a hot drink. Impeccable service and one of the best coffee's I have tasted. Would definitely recommend and would return here. Thank you.

Delicious food reminded me of Cyprus

Amazing service. I have been welcomed the moment I walked in by two lovely ladies. The lady asked me what I'm interested in eating. Massive well done for the service and the food amazing very fresh and amazing taste will definitely come again. I recommend the chicken sandwich with halumi cheese and all salad.

The crepe is delicious here, and the fresh smoothie is a must try. This is a gem of a shop and I would definitely visit again! They have a beautiful collection of pâtissières and cakes, and the people running it are super friendly :)
