Acomb Tandoori in Northumberland

Amazing. The best tikka masala i’ve ever had. Staff are incredibly friendly. Would definitely reccomend to anyone in or visiting Corbridge!

We’re long standing customers of this place and are always happy with the food, but have to say the quality is at its best yet. Had a chicken dhansak last night that was so spicy it was breathtaking yet the sweet pineapple brought relief with every bite! Honestly the best dhansak I’ve ever had. Husband’s Madras was equally authentic and delicious. The only curry place around that doesn’t skimp on full flavour. Great quality rice and breads etc too. Brilliant!

It's on an industrrial estate and is take away only. Don't let that put you off. It's excellent.

Good Indian takeaway, good variety for both spicy and not-so-spicy, so happy with their food. Especially love Peshawari naan bread! Chicken biriyani is also nice, but might get spicy from time to time (for my taste, I'm not a big fan of spicy food). Matapania side dish is also one of my favourites there.

Great food and delivery service

Very late delivery but worth it. The tandoori chicken, chicken tika masala and the lamb biriyani was great. Would recommend.

Just received my order of Mixed Kebab with Chips and Korma Sauce from Acomb Tandoori tonight 22/10/22. Absolutely first class food, delivered on time , very hot and plenty of everything, can’t fault the food from here it’s perfect everytime.

Food was over an hour later than expected. Despite being promised it was 'nearly there' twice in between. When it finally arrived, the food was pretty poor, bland, and frankly quite similar to chip shop curry sauce. Won't be using again.

Had a Beef Bhuna last night, couldn't chew the beef was so tough.

Always delicious. A little gem tucked away where you wouldn't expect it.

Ordered tonight at a localish caravan park, bit of a confusion over the delivery but mostly my fault, sorry guys, food was delicious and piping hot still, keema nan was loaded with meat which was much appreciated, well worth it

5 star review :-P We have used acomb tandoori for years now. And all we can say it's a little hidden gem in Northumberland. We're not one's for adding stuff on the net for the sake of it but acomb is great value the food is excellent and can't emphasise that enough it's also the cheapest that does not mean they skimp on ingredients or the taste.I recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food or wants to try something different.
