Ace Sandwich Bar in Luton

You must try the square sausage it’s lovely. But they do the whole range of cafe food Really good prices and lovely staff. (Just finished my square sausage roll) great if you are living or working local or waiting to collect someone at Luton airport.

Had a 4 hour stop off in Luton Airport, and had no desire to pay Airport prices, plus with so much time on my hands it allowed the chance to cut the time with a little walk. Good 10 minute walk from the front door of the airport, its a little greasy spoon cafe, but prices and portions are much better than the airport. Ordered the angry Scotsman breakfast (roll with double sausage, scone and egg), a cheese salad bap and coffee. Freshly prepared, and cost £10, so while you could get a mean deal at Boots or somewhere in the airport for £3-ish, you get a lot better value and more tasty stuff here. Really set me up for the rest of the day, as it was close to 11pm before I had my next proper meal to eat. Staff really friendly and chatty.

never knew this place was there, saw it when passing with my son after a visit to see the planes, ordered two egg and bacon baguettes some chips service was fast and friendly, staff were very friendly and approachable. will deffo be using this place again and told my wife who works for david berrymans about it and she did not know it was there so i expect a few more people will use it too.

Usually good, but what happened to the supply of french baguettes recently, bap or toasted bread doesnt ‘cut’ it.

I ordered a chicken bap and a ham baguette for my lunch and when I got home, all there was few pieces of roast chicken in the bap and a few slices of ham in the baguette- far from what I heard about the quality of their food. I spent so much money for two sandwiches and I got absolutely nothing for it Maybe it was because I wasn’t white!!!

Great food, great people, great experience. The family who runs this place is excellent and so is their food. Highly recommend this place, great prices and great flavor. If you’re arriving or departing out of Luton it is super convenient for a bite to eat.

Tasty sandwiches, lovely staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to our from Luton Airport. Also do a very good protein mega box, for those cutting carbs.

If you happen to pass here before or after a flight, it's very close to the car hire and the car parks, and need something for your onward journey you be greeted by smiling faces and tasty sarnies, nothing too fancy but good honest and affordable food, pretty much the opposite of what you'll get inside the airport!

Nice fresh sandwiches, about £3-5 depending on what you get. They only take cash though so make sure you have that on you.

Great little cafe, very helpful staff.Food of goo quality, but there is a big problem - developers are going to close it down in two months' time to demolish the building.Yet another decent eatery destroyed on the airport. The social club was recently closed. All that are left are overpriced junk-food joints in the terminal.
