Great food but lay massive portion of fish great burger sausages and battered sausage chips could have been a little bigger for the price but all in all fab!!

The chips and wings are usually really good. This time I ordered it was late, and the food was just about warm. The chips evidently had been refried and they gave us the bottom of the chips so very few were actually soft but that didn’t matter anyway bec they were all hard and stale, almost inedible. A true waste as I didn’t eat them bec I have weak teeth. As dissatisfied as I am when I ask my year old to make me a cup of tea.

My order was late because my address was not correct on my order. When I spoke to Ace, they corrected the mistake immediately and delivered my order without hesitation. Brilliant service.

First and last time ordering from here. Took an hour to send it out for delivery. Restaurant is 6 minutes away by car, took over 30 minutes to get to me. ‘Large’ portion of chips were small, hard chips with enough salt on to fill an ocean. ‘Large’ fish was small, bland, thin and overcooked (get better fillets in Iceland) saveloy had no ‘snap’. Just unpleasant tasting mush like dog food. Won’t go back again

Nipped in to grab some fish and chips. Took ages to be served after placing our order because Deliveroo/Uber Eats orders were given priority. Got back to friends' house to find the side of baked beans we'd ordered and paid for was missing. Couldn't be bothered to go back to argue the toss. Portion size was small and the chips tasted as if cooked in old fat. Glad this isn't our local chippy.

This little gem opened in west Norwood over two decades ago and the food still tastes amazing. You cannot get fresher or tastier Doner meat than they do here in Norwood or even south london. Portion sizes are good and they read your notes & customize your order perfectly.

I ordered from this shop before and it was ok. This time... wow - the amount of grease on the fish and chips sucked out all flavour. The large portion of chips was small, and the fish seemed really old not fresh and hard. I put some of the fish out for our cat who eats most things and she would not even touch it! Delivery was also right on the maximum limit of 1 hour. Very disappointed, will not use again.

Fish was bit of a chewy the batter wasn’t very fresh and fish was pretty small. Chips were average and curry sauce was small and a bit watery. I did ask for salt and vinegar in notes which I didn’t get. For 18 quid pretty poor

Wow!!! This is the best fish I have tasted, freshly cooked and lots of fish inside the batter. Also had potato fritters, which were lovely too. Definitely recommend this fish and chip shop, with great friendly staff.

Food was delicious. I had the grilled chicken burger meal, onion rings and curry sauce. The flavour was outstanding and the brioche bun was so fresh and soft. Food was piping hot too. Highly recommended.

normally service is really brilliant and the food is nice and hot but on this occasion my order wasn't correct and had to call the shop as I asked for 2 cheese 1/4 pounders and got 2 normal burgers instead and my kebab meat and chips plus battered sausages were cold the shop did replace the burgers with two new ones

Delicious as usual and lovely portions of food. Highly recommend if you ever fancy Fish and chips or something a bit different. I tend to opt in for the lamb chops meal, never disappoints. My kids love their sausages be it plain or battered, it’s my go to and it’s Halal.

Paid £17.70p for a large Cod and Chips and the food was terrible. No where near the usual high standard from here. Cod was flat and really greasy and the chips were frozen chips (not what we expected and soggy) as opposed to the usual chip shop chips. Food went in the bin after a couple of bites. Very unlikely to order from here again as it was a complete waste of money.

But 4 pound daylight Robbery won't be doing it again Don't get me started On the kebab the salad was all slimy and soggy One slice of cucumber Look like he had given up Cucumbers are supposed to be firm this literally Wilted, as for the tomato nasty. tasted like mildew in the mouth..... not nice

I was expecting better since this is one out a few fish and chips shop in West Norwood. The cod lacked a distinctive flavour and was VERY soggy inside. No crisp at all and the chips were undercooked, looked really pale. Overall, an average taste.

Extremely late and chips covered in heavy salt I didn’t ask for any seasoning but they decided to cover the lot with salt inedible food never order from here unless you love to eat extremely salty and late food took over 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering. Absolutely disgusting service

Seasoned cod! Usually the fish is bland and you salt/vinegar/lemon to taste, but this was already nice and tasty. Chips were great too. Wanted a fish and chips and that's what I got. Delivery driver was nice too. Only possible negative is there was no indication of when anything was happening, the food just eventually appeared - within the time window though so I'm nitpicking. If you want cod and chips, this is a solid choice.

The worst pie and chips I have ever tasted. I took two mouthfulls and binned the rest The chips were so dry even with loads of vinegar. NEVER AGAIN
