The annual club dinner for 2018 chose Ruth’s Kitchen for the first time. The room and tables had been beautifully decorated and was ideal for the 60 guests. The home made Tomato and Basil soup was delicious an refreshing and then guests were invited to the carvery for Turkey, beef or both. The beef was served with Yorkshire Puddings and roast potatoes. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and guests helped themselves to an array. The turkey was moist and tender with the guests claiming that both were equally delicious. The cheesecake for pudding was a tasty and light end to a very good dining experience. The food was great and great value, the service with a smile was good and highly recommended for carvery lovers. A great evening at a good venue which was enjoyed by all. We will return!

Whenever I am in Aberystwyth I try to enjoy a Sunday carvery from Ruth’s Kitchen @ Aberystwyth Town Football Club. Extremely well priced, and the best quality carvery you will find in Aberystwyth. Great service is a guarantee. Fantastic.

The Mrs & I turned up without a booking @ 12.30 & it was rammed having opened @ 11.30am. Yes we had to wait a little time but boy was it worth it. For £5.95 for a single course with 3 desert options @ £2.50 each value for Aberystwyth money is the best around. The service, attention to detail & family atmosphere made for a fantastic visit - than you Team Ruth's Kitchen. Roast is served from 11.30am to 3pm but often the counter closes at 2pm cos it is sooo busy! Loved meeting Ruth, her husband, mother & grandchildren - look forward to visiting soon plus Christmas Day bookings have just opened - highly recommended.

Can't fault the taste of the food here. The staff were lovely and the room spacious and cool. My only complaint which is rather a large one was the portion of meat which without a doubt was less than most schools serve. This was the same for the other tables around us so maybe they under ordered, but it was enough to stop me going back.

Word of mouth recommendation goes along way in small-town Aber and so it was I found myself queuing for Sunday lunch at the Seaguls' carvery. Admittedly, a certain 'soup kitchen ambiance' prevailed, however the fare on offer more than compensated for any shortcomings in the decor. If good hearty food takes precedence over table cloths and napkins then this is the place for you. I plumped for a beef and Turkey combo with all the trimmings and enjoyed every mouthful. Hand picking the crispiest roast potatoes proving a personal high-point; only marginally surpassing the fiery horseradish relish - a personal roast-dinner-must-have. If the Seaguls' signings provide the same value for money offered up here, then the Welsh Prem title should be in the bag. Diolch to the catering team - over to the boys in shorts! Top tip - arrive early (12ish) to get the pick of the roasties.

La baja puntuación de este lugar no debería reflejar su calidad. Creo que es porque muchas personas desconocen que el club de partido no domingo cenas. Sin embargo, cree que es fabulosa y relación calidad-precio muy buena.

Went for my second visit here for Sunday lunch in three weeks,I have been very impressed with the quality of both food and service on both visits. Five of us adults eat on Sunday and the bill came to less than £30!! Not bad in this day and age, it's well worth a try for the price and apple pie and custard was only £2!! If your not quite full enough after your dinner that is

The Pentre Arms, as usual was excellent. Great welcome, great food, friendly staff and good standard of accommodation. The only shame about visiting this village is that the so called village shop is NEVER open. It could be such an asset for all, local people and visitors. It looks so scruffy and an eyesore to.the area.

We chanced upon this cafe whilst in the area. What a great find! We were served by a really friendly Italian chap, who was great with my kids. We went in for some elevenses tea and cake but ended up with sticky toffee pudding and custard, crumble and custard and a Victoria sponge. All we're delicious.

Arrived at 3:05 made eye contact with staff and told to take a seat. Left at 3:25 no one had come to take my order or even interact with me. Staff have plenty of time to chat with customers who are eating or who have paid but don't always pay attention to those who have just come in. This is not the first time this has happened. Previous visits have been okay following an excellent initial visit. Won't be going back.

Ahh, everything was perfect...burger is incredible. Baby carrots, delicious. That buffolo sauced cauliflower, omg, it was absolute best. Coctails were delicious. And, pecan tart and the cardamom ice cream was outworldly. I only wished this place was near my home. Unfortunately, its 4 hours away 😞😞 Special note: waitress who served us was really lovely, kind and attentive. Thanks so much for a perfect anniversary meal 😊
