An easy walk from Victoria Station, Aberica is Spanish restaurant, which I visited as part of a group to taste authentic Spanish cuisine. One person in the group had recommended this based on a previous visit 3 years ago, and visits to other branches. The decor was nice, and we had a private room. The table was round with nice chairs.This gave us the possibility to engage in conversation across the table, and eat as a group. One star for this indeed! The next star is for the friendly and patient waitress and waiters. We ordered quite a few starter dishes to have as tapas, however, the food did not come together but one after another, and to share we had to cut it in minuscule pieces, with the cutlery we used to dine as no other cutlery was provided. Some dishes were not introduced. I have to give the waitress a star of her own for being attentive to food allergies and intolerances. Regrettably, two people shared a wine, and waiters poured this in other peoples glass not sharing the bottle. This is not acceptable, and for that a star is lost. Another star is lost due to the food as previously described, and the presentation was more English than authentic Spanish were a 6 pieces of sliver thin Manchego was to be shared by 8 people. I had looked forward to this dish, but it was impossible to share so I lost out, and cannot comment on the taste. We could have ordered another one but the look of it did not entice us to do so. We opted out of dessert and went to Ole and Steen, Victoria instead -see my previous reviews of this place. The Spanish person recommending the place was disappointed, but the overall feeling of the group was that it had been a nice evening, with a selection of food that would never cater for all peoples taste and allergies and expectations, and the ambience was worth it. I cannot say it was 'very good' and therefore cannot give 4 stars, and would I come again, hmm probably not.

14 Soho StTo be honest I don't like the design here and the drinks are too expensive. But those who like the spanish way of bars, will enjoy this place.

36 Broadgate CircleCame here for Xmas drinks with staff last night and couldn’t believe how poorly we were treated by this military like head barman. He really was very unpleasant. We were a mixed group of men and women and we ordered a round of drinks for circa £100. One of the ladies did not like the way they over spiced her cocktail so politely asked for something else. The head barman, who wasn’t even serving us, got involved and very angrily started waving his hands around as if we were trying it on - we weren’t. We then sat outside and for our next round we popped in to the neighbouring bar to get this lady the cocktail she wanted and we also purchased more drinks from both bars. The barman brought security over and demanded we left because we were drinking a drink that wasn’t purchased from their bar - but we were drinking 7 other drinks that were , vs two drinks that weren’t - so if we apply this rule , we were not allowed to sit in either bar ! So I agreed to then go in to his bar and purchased another round for £110 , which I believed was our negotiation to allow her to remain at our table , but of course , as soon as we had purchased it, he tried to throw us out again and then got two security guards involved to do so. We then left as I he was literally. Shouting at us “ go spend your money in their bar, we don’t care if you don’t spend it in here “. Seriously, what ??? It was almost laughable. We remained completely calm throughout the interaction but this guy was like a man possessed. Suggest you consider appointing a new bar manager because this guy is dreadful.

26 - 27 Leadenhall MarketOrganise a company Christmas party with La Vina. Fatima is very thoughtful throughout the process. From menu planning, setting up the place, taking extra orders, flexible about the deal... she has help to create a smooth process for the party planning. The food was great! No complaints from my co-worker. We had a very good time.
