Been here before and meal was amazing and the young girl who served us was amazing but tonight two out of 4 meals were cold. Two of us had desserts and they were cold. The same young girl served us and couldn't fault her but the man behind the bar never asked my husband was everything with your meal alright and not even a thank you while he paid. Vert poor customer service from him.

Aye really went here for Scampi and chips got asked is your meal alright, I said NO it’s Fukin brilliant I’ll be back tomorrow. Boss food.

Just received 4 meals from them, this is the poorest helping I have ever had the garlic bread was soggy a small kids size portion , my Daughter took chips with hers she had 5 chips in the box this was the macaroni & the cheek to take £9.95 for this disgrace not a happy customer tried to call no answer.

Cannot fault any of the food or service absolutely amazing, new people that have taken over have dine a great job, as expected few teething problems but James goes out his way to sort it out.

Sunday roast was awful,could not manage more than a few mouthfuls really stringy,chewy and utterly bland. Hate to leave negative feedback especially for small local business but really unhappy as we did complain but the issue was not resolved - food was left practically untouched on our plates. On a lighter note the young girl who served us was fab,friendly and an asset to the place.

It's a tad expensive for what you get the menu is a bit confusing the curry is just the side of edible menu said rice or chips must be sacrilege to request half rice and half chips thought customer was always right can't see me going back here TripAdvisor is a trusted source I always look up a place before I go even though I try to give the benefit of the doubt and be optimistic this is my own review and in my on write I'm feeling generous so I gave a star higher than I felt comfortable with

Been here so many times and always great food and service.bar staff are lovely and very helpful.new management as told!!what a difference.having a meal with someone standing in the bar watching everyone's movements as ov customers and bar staff.the man in the pink shirt at the bar stood in the doorway of the staff whom were really busy and trying to get past him with food but he didn't seem to move or care.he watched every glass staff poured and meal served as if he was the police.very uncomfortable to watch.the staff have been amazing for the 8 years we have known them.and seem to have everything under control.but to have someone watching customers and staffs every move is ridiculous.new management need to reevaluate priorities. Be nice to your customers and even say hello and introduce yourself.dont make us feel uncomfortable or youl lose more custom.hats off to your bar staff

Stopped in for late lunch. Warm and inviting interior. Placed order at the bar and did not have long to wait for food. The portions were much too big for me, an overcrowded plate. I had breaded fish and it was just a bit dry. Way too many chips, but if you like it large then this is for you. Also coleslaw was one of the sides, does not go with fish and chips. There was also salad along with the fish and chips. My friend had sausage and mash, could not believe the amount of food on his plate, he had to leave a lot. Overall, volume over taste. Friendly staff. High chairs available. Clean toilets and free parking.

This is a fantastic pub and restaurant in alloa there is a great seniours menu which is very reasonable my favorite go-to place when friends and family meet up the steak pie is excellent I usually get a Christmas lunch here every year it's quite good the restaurant bit is quiet and convivial very nice food and drinks very reasonable prices

Called in with partner for lunch, Great service couldn't ask for better, the portions are large, especially enjoyed my gammon steak! Would definitely recommend to anyone passing thru or in the area

Visited today for the first time and what a lovely friendly place this is , great quality food all freshly cooked , great portion sizes and great prices Highly recommend And will definitely be back

I went here recently with a friend for lunch. This was my first time so I was a bit thoughtful about the menu posibly not having anything on it I'd like. Oh how wrong I was! Excellent choice of dishes to cater for even the most fussy of us. I had lasagne and chips while my friend had the chicken, ham and leek pie with chips, and we couldn't resist the desserts. The staff member who served us was polite, cheery and helpful and the dining area we were in was neat, tidy and clean. I'd highly recommend it. A lovely place to eat.
