Abbies Pizza in Staffordshire Moorlands

Had a 14 inch chicken tikka pizza and chips and ended up been ill nxt day with food poisoning. Wouldn’t touch this place again

You know you've had a good night out in Leek when you end up in Abbie's. The pizzas are great after a few drinks, maybe one too many drinks but who's counting, not me that's why we went to Abbie's. Friends of mine have the Donna kabab and they always enjoy them especially with curly fries. Which are also excellent. Good job Abbie's team and thanks for keeping your doors open late for the people who've had a great night.

Chicken kebab ( food poisoning last night !!! ) been coming for years never again

Awful, abbies has recently had new owners, and the standards and services are very poor. Such a shame as it was the best in leek for years..

Got the worst food poisoning ever from this dive. Phoned them to let them know and they couldn't give a toss. Recommended not to use this take away

Always amazing food and the staff go the extra mile to make it special lived in leek all my life and this is the takeaway I will always recommend

We ordered some burgers that came with a few spots of mold on the bread. We order regularly and never have this issue. Called the restaurant, the staff were great, helped quickly with a refund and 50% off our next order. Very polite and apologetic. We will still order from here as the burgers are great. Thanks

I'm doing this review after more than one order being not satisfactory, I paid alot of money for not alot and then can not eat the chips,always forget to put things on burgers and chips are so hard even my kids won't eat them....n they eat anything

If i could leave zero stars i would, went there on thursday night and have been using the place for years, to be Greeted with a Maggot in the food which was opened in the shop. We were offered a Can of pop, which was also dirty by the way! Will never touch the place again.

Ordered a pizza. Within 40 minutes of consuming I started with really bad diahorreah. 4 times in an hour. Not sure if your toppings are in date but I can't understand how a pizza would give someone food poisoning. Not ordering from here again.

Just called in after a night out for a chicken wrap, half way through I noticed some of the chicken pieces were still pink. But on top of this, there were black hairs ingrained into the the pieces of chicken themselves, fingers crossed I don’t get food poisoning 🤞

Sadly my burger arrived soggy and the meat pattie was very bland, my chicken was very dry and unseasoned. I had ordered a Hawaiian burger but there was no bacon or cheese on it so perhaps they could re-name this burger as it's very mis-leading! My sister ordered a cheese burger and it arrived with no cheese but after calling to let them know they did remake the burger and deliver another so I can't fault for that. It's just a shame the rest of the food wasn't enjoyable.

I order from here quite regularly, not happy that they sell a wrap when I asked for nan bread, when I call thinking they've made a mistake they pass of a aldi wrap like it's nan bread, saying that this is the type of nans in this week.... Afew month bk I had to return precooked yesterday's chicken bk to the shop,always forgetting sauces...what a shambles, my girls love a Abbie's but when it's thing after thing, you have to draw the line some where, it's not just the odd mistake, also Ur mayonnaise that we had last week seemed to taste off too...sort urselves out or my money will go else where, it's not like leek hadn't 60 other fast food places

Decent takeaway, pizzas, kebabs, burgers etc. Parking close on the market place, also deliver. Does get busy in evenings

The guys behind the counter were friendly and the lady who was preparing our order has excellent customer care.

Absolute shambles, my order took 2 hours to get here after getting told it would take half an hour, then I rang they said 5 minutes, half an hour later it still wasn’t here, then when it finally did get here the pizzas were cold, curly fries were soggy and my friends feta cheese came liquidised and olives came with stones in.we were lied to and disrespected when calling and got the phone put down on us, not acceptable do better, we expect a refund asap, if you know me you know I’m not one to complain but this was out of order on so many levels, I am utterly shocked and saddened at what this town has become. P.s. my Dr Pepper was too fizzy.

Was told £7 delivery Leek to Foxt. When delivered charged £10 delivery.

Delivery was 2 hours late and when it came it was cold. Staff were rude on the phone. Won’t be going again

Had cold food delivered. They did resend the order and everything was good. But had a long wait from start to finish.

Ordered at 8.30 said 30 min delivery time . Called after 45 minutes, to be told its on its way !! Numerous phone calls and lies. 10.40 still not arrived , I understand they may be busy , but please be transparent. Expect a full refund of 30 pound , toast tonight !!!!

Abysmal service recently, order two pizza's with BBQ base on two occasions and on both occasions the pizza's didn't have bbq base, didn't mind waiting the first time but second time round is bad. Ordered the same again last night, told to come collect in 15 mins. Arrived to collect and the guy looked around cofused and said hold on, no problem. 5 mins later Asked me a second time what the order was and he said 5 mins. 10 mins later asked me again what my order was then looked around at his colleagues confused and asked his colleague to ask me what my order was, told me he remembered speaking to me on the phone but doesn't know where my order is. So I just left.

I'm using Abbies for 3 years now and I'm very satisfied with food and service. Even if something goes wrong (because it can happen to anyone it'statistic) they will sort it out without any problems. Highly recommended.

Absolutely diabolical service, not used Abbies for over 2 years due to poor service, thought we would give it a try again. used the online ordering, countdown said 25 minutes for delivery, 2 phone calls and one half hours later cold pizzas arrived and uncooked chips. Never again. Food straight in the bin. Lesson learnt. Apparently can't leave a no star review

Ordered £30 worth of good at 7.45, 9.30 pm still waiting, Abbies gave lost a customer I will never buy again...

I left a 1 star review a few months back after abit of a todo with the old manager/owner now with them gone and the old owners back abbies is now back to its former glory brilliant news so happy to see them back and the food back to A1 standards

Dirty hole by far the worst pizza I've ever had , it was cold and not cooked through how is this place even still open 🤮🤮🤮

Not very nice at all, chips came soggy and tasted horrible inside, pizza wasn't too great either, overall 90% of the food went in the bin.

Ordered from Abbies last night. Since the new ownership I can say they are even better than before! Great pizzas...

Had takeaways off these for years quite regularly ordered one last weekend which came wrong phoned them up and the first person I spoke to said no problem we will sort so I thought brilliant had a phone call 10 mins later or so of the owner/manager basically trying to say it was my wifes fault they got the order wrong and practically told me not to use them again which I have no problem with quite rude to be honest since the new ownership

Disgusting food! I called up and agreed I would collect but wanted to make sure they accepted card, they said yes. When I arrived they said they didn’t have a card machine, so I had to search for an ATM. Got home, it smelt quite good. However the pizza tasted like it had been sitting around for a while and was heated up. Barely any onion in the onion rings... popcorn chicken was fine. Both me and my partner felt ill afterwards. Avoid!!

This is our favourite takeaway in our area as it does some variety. The pizzas are always amazing from there.

Absolutely disgusted!!!! Ordered pizza deal and a child's meal. 1hr passed no delivery. Rang up and said 15mins. 45 mins passed still no delivery. When it finally got to us there was no child's meal. 2hr 35 mins after ordering the childs meal was delivered by which time it was to late. All food was was below standard.

Ordered online at 6.24 (email confirmation), screen time states 45 minutes delivery. An hour and a half later, we called to find out whats happening, only to be shouted at and talked over for interrupting them when they're busy!!! We requested a refund which apparently takes 7 to 10 days????? I won't be ordering from here again and would advise you to avoid.

Awful, ordered on line, we are not from the area but on holiday! would not recommend the food was substandard when it arrived - very late, the people answering the phone put the phone down on us twice when we asked where the food was if we had not paid on line we would have cancelled, they said we shouldn't have ordered as we were 8 miles away - how do you know when you are on holiday!! if this is what the area has to offer won't be going back very disappointed!!!

Driver took order to a completely different address than the one we ordered to, was promised the food would be made fresh but when it arrived it was cold. The chips are always sub standard and the pizzas have next to no sauce on them. I would order from somewhere else before here, not worth the risk.

Just been abused by a lady delivery driver outside abbies. Saying she was a driver. My dad has pulled ligaments and I was waiting for him. You could park in front or at the side of me. Shocking the delivery drivers you employ. Will not be going again. Very bad experience

Food took 2 hours to arrive. Called twice and got to different excuses each time and when the food arrived one of the burgers had hardly any cheese, the chicken was slimy and disgusting. Overall, a pretty terrible experience.

Order garlic bread with cheese and there will be no garlic! Mainly just caters to people on a night out

I must order from Abbie’s every week. Today I ordered online which said would be 40 mins. Took 95 mins to arrive and tasted like it had been made that long ago. Phone constantly engaged. No apology by the driver. Shocking. Pizzaline or Steakout from now on.

Top food and top service from the friendly staff.

This is a good restaurant and don't get me wrong the food is spectacular but the time you have to wait is unreal so if you are in a bit of a rush don use Abbies and use Pizza Line up the road because the food is the same but they are much faster.

It definitely is a place to go,with very good service, quick,and also very good food, it's also my local.

They probably would be good if you didn't have to ask for your pizza to be stop being burnt. The free pot of sauce definitely compensated. Better than waiting another half an hour for another pizza

helluva lot better than Moorlands Fast Food. Their food makes me ill.
