Abaseen Takeaway in Calderdale

Good food and staff are great. The only problem at the moment, at least on my visit to collect, there’s no shop front and the road is currently closed. I’d recommend getting your food delivered from here.

Ordered donner and chips, received a fish burger then rang many times but was ignored very bad experience

Very poor service. Placed order well in advance so it arrives on time as been fasting all day. No updates on Uber app and unable to get through as line purposely disconnected. Very poor service from Abaseen. In the end order cancelled and ordered from somewhere else.

They used to be good responsive but since last 1.5 years of my experience is very bad with them delievers food really late arrives really cold and hard and one refund took 3 months to give my money back lol

Its a little bit of hit and miss. Ordered on multiple occassions, and yesterdays order 14/2/24 via Ubereats, has to be amongst the worst quality of food. Donner was stale and had little to no taste, the cheesy chips were sprinkled with grated cheese that were not fully melted, thr fish burger they called back to say they don't have any and had to settle for a cheese burger which had no taste. Other than the chappali kebab which was good i wont order from them anymore.

Food is ok, prices are good for pizza. The text service is real good when you order, they should add eta of delivery on it. When we ordered for a particular time the delivery was 30 min late, so a more punctual delivery would have been better.

Lovely food tasty and affordable

Unfortunately, this is the last time I’ve ordered food from Abaseen Queens Road Halifax. Ordered 2 hours ago using Uber Eats and still no delivery received, the staff at Abaseen didn’t had the courtesy to deliver the order on time, in fact giving excuses that I the customer is in wrong and secondly, when the order was delivered, it was not complete order. Therefore, it has been a very bad experience with Abaseen Halifax and please avoid ordering Abaseen Halifax using Uber Eats.

We ordered for £50. We waited 2 hours and it was cold. The next day we called and they didn't even listen to us. Very disappointed. We order every week. We'll go somewhere else.

Good food all round, very consistent of the quality of food and service. One of very few takeways that still offer clean food.

They cook your food to absolute perfection. Considering how busy they are, the prep is on point. The 1kg lamb curry was cooked with juicy masala paste, hint of spice yet the garlic and sweet tomato blend was unbelievable. The lamb came off the bone, soft, succulent with maximum flavor. I’m not a big fan of Chapel kebabs but boy oh boy you’re in for a treat with these. Thank you for the hospitality and phenomenal food.

First time ordering from here after reading the reviews ordered the peshawari chappal kebabs, food came very warm kebabs were some of the best I've had and I've eaten a good few, plenty salad too. Very well flavoured will definitely order again thanks for a lovely meal

If you're in the mood for some quick food, Abaseen Takeaway could be an option. The smaller sized 7/8" pizzas and chips are quite tasty, but unfortunately, that's where the compliments end. The sauces offered here are nothing special and leave much to be desired. Additionally, all the pizzas seem to taste exactly the same, so don't fall for the 3 for £X promotion. While it's just another average takeaway, the smaller sized pizzas and chips may be worth a try.

they look after you,food is on point but they run out of sauces quickly so need to stock up on more sauces ,every time i go in ask for more sauce ,i get told that we got less sauce

Very busy on Saturday it was a bit of wait in this weather but the chapel kabba naan was worth waiting for ...we did make phone call order but it wasn't ready because it was busy ...

I've ordered from here before and usually the orders are great deliveries come on time and the food is good. However I ordered chicken fillet burgers today and I was very disappointed, the chips looked as if they were re-fried about 3 times they were drenched in oil and just very terrible tasting. The burger itself was packed with onion and no Mayo, and I ordered a fillet burger but received a frozen chicken patty so the order itself was wrong. After eating the burger, I wasn't even going to attempt to eat the chips so they went straight to bin, I was left feeling nauseous.

There food is always tasty bought a kebab and naan, it was delicious.

The last 3-4 times I have ordered they have always got something wrong. Once they sent they made the wrong pizzas - the annoying thing was that it was for a birthday party ordered with other food with abaseen. Another time ordered naan kebab and 3 pizzas. I collected other food from another takeaway which i collected. I then get a call that they haven’t got donner and i will have to wait another 20-25 minutes. They called me 25 minutes after ordering not 5 mins. Another predicament! I ended up collected the naan kebab and got the pizzas delivered. They guys are useless. 1 mistake is fine but 3-4 on the trot is stupidity. Also worker drops donner and picks it up with tongs and looks up to see if anyone is watching then bins it. Im 99-% sure he would have used that donner. Too obvious. LAST TIME I GO THERE. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT TRUST THEM ANYMORE. COWBOYS AND BE CAREFUL OF THE HYGIENE.

I ordered mixed doner kebab today served by cashier & chef . There was another guy just appeared to the chefs side he was wearing glasses with very attitude and he swore to me . the naan was cold dry and the kebab was old and cold just wasted my money actually

Just come here by off chance , as previously eaten at Abaseen franchises previously. Ordered a chapal kebab burger with hashbrown and slice of cheese, chips and Mango Rubicon. Surprisingly there wasn't an extra charge for the Rubicon mango as normally there is. Staff was cleaning and were busy and polite. Chips given were a bit crunchy as the owner said " they're made this specific way". All I did was mention this and out of his own kindness gave me some more chips as they were crunchy. The chapal kebab was nice and warm to eat also the chutney was delicious. Will be coming again to try the pizza and the chapal kebab on nan. Alhamdulila very nice and polite service given to myself.

Called for takeaway whilst working and didn't actually end up with what I thought i ordered. Wanted mixed kebab with salad and sauces with chips , little did I know that that there was no pitta or nann bread and the chips weren't separate, everything was piled up in a box so nearly impossible to eat as we didn't get even a fork to eat it with. First and last visit

The food is tastes amazing. The chapalli kebabs with naan the best you can get locally. The pizza, particularly the bases are so much better than the competition. The staff are friendly. Well priced and decent offers too. They are usually busy because they are that good so can take a bit of time but the staff let you know who long the wait will be.

Ordered take away on a few occasions.They missed off the toppings .Didn't tell me when arriving home rang them to say the toppings are missing They weren't interested saying that its not they fault they ran out of toppings.Did it on another occasionaswell. On another occasion ordered food asked for the price when picking it up they asjed for more saying the price had changed in the space of 30 minutes really.Why do need to lie to your customers just be truthful.lied on every occasion .

Poor poor service, staff have attitude and are extremely rude. On two occasions we were given old chips from the night before which had been warmed up. Don't bother spending your money as there are much better places to eat from. Stay away to avoid disappointment. If i had a choice this place would get a zero star from me.

Travelled from Burton to eat from here - excellent service and great food!

Went in for the first time, ordered food took over half hour to cook my order. Got home and was so over done and burnt and came with no salad. Will not be going again and would not reccomend.

don't answer the phone, food is never ready on time, better off going elsewhere, its not like your asking for free food your paying so why not pick up the phone and give customers orders when you say they will be ready!

Extremely poor service!! Will never go back to them again! They made me wait over an hour to open up and then they told me to wait a further 20 min for chicken wings! The worker was unprofessional and sounded drunk! What a waste of a journey

Chappli Kebabs are very nice here.

Very good since the refurbishment as customers now have somewhere to stand. The menu is simple and revolves around burgers, kebabs, grilled meats with pizza in there too. A popular place so it's sometimes quite busy. Ordering and queuing are haphazard so if you're of a nervous disposition then allow extra time or phone your order in. They do deliver.

Love the food that they do ordered 3 pizzas for delivery good price also perfect food and nice staff i would recommend to order from this place.
