It does what it says on the tin… feeds the many truck drivers with nice appetising food that won’t break the bank worth every penny I spent there and as a truck driver will go out of my way to go again

Not your usual greasy spoon cafe and not your usual motorway services with lots of people and queues. We ordered at the counter and the meal was delivered hot to your table BONUS. No queuing to pay with a cold meal at the end!

The George Hotel of Stamford High StreetThe setting was lovely and the staff attentive but there are no excuses for over pricing of this magnitude. The vegetarian menu in particular was ludicrous. £30 for a cauliflower steak is outrageous and totally unjustified as it was neither inventive nor particularly well executed. There are plenty of restaurants in London offering inventive and delicious vegetarian and vegan food for a fraction of the price. You should only consider charging this amount if you can deliver something exceptional.

12 ironmonger stWhen in Stamford we love to go to Frothys for breakfast, usually have full English which is great but this time we fancied a change and we had the scrambled eggs, black pudding and mushrooms ,absolutely fantastic. Staff and owner very friendly Will be back
