Order from here quite a lot but we ordered last night and 2 out 3 of us ended up with food poisoning

I love the food, they deliver on time and is clean inside.I also really like chicken achari.

We order from here frequently as its the best one around. We're creatures of habit and tend to have the same things each time. The meat samosas are exquisite 👌 and the rogan josh curry and madras too. We've tried other takeaways but always return to A1 Balti as its always delicious 😋

The food and service was disgusting we phoned up and still had to wait picking it up 10 minutes. They now keep harassing my phone sending texts constantly. It is super annoying. Does anyone no how to remove my number from A1balti house. How do I stop them texting me?

Just ordered a large amount of food from the A1, they sent a link for us to pay but it didn't go through and ended up walking to their store. Once there the guys were all really nice and the delivery guy dropped us off with our food. Ordered curry for the majority of people which was enjoyed by all. Unfortunately the husband said it was the worst kebab he'd had in a while. Forgot to order a separate curry for a family member which the guys at A1 sent out straight away.

I can tell they are lovely people! However the food was too oily and didn’t have much flavour :((. Naan bread was lovely I hope next time they add some more flavour to it!

I asked for spicy biryani and literally whole chillis were placed in the dish. Nothing was chopped. I asked for the naan to be well done but came thick and Doughey. When I called to raise these issues, a guy shot me down straight away, before I could even finish telling him what my issues are, he had answers such as; “well you should have asked for a spicy madras sauce” & “well that’s how we serve our food so that’s what you get” I politely notified him then if there is nothing you can do about these things (we all know there is and was) then I will not be ordering from you again which he seemed happy about- strange! oh and I’m also Asian and this food is not authentic. Sad times for these people. Also never trust anywhere that makes you pay for condiments that go with popadoms. It’s a no from me.

Just bought 2 a1 burgers from these people my son had what looks like a tooth which he bit into rang the shop absoluty rude and discusting attitude wanting me to walk back for another burger are they mad wouldnt touch anything from that vile place no refund he hung up fuming

I was fed up with food delivery because the food they deliver is different from the food they serve at the takeaway. A few weeks ago I went to this place and ordered Shashlik Lamb and requested the guy on the counter to pack the Nan separately. The guy was taking delivery orders on the phone worth of hundred pounds. He tried to ignore me. On my persistence he became very aggressive and rude and asked me to leave. I only asked him to pack the Nan separately because I don't like soggy Nan. I was prepared to give him extra charges for this. These people are there to earn money but are not prepared to give good service. Covid 19 have given a boost to their business in the form of deliveries. They pack rubbish in the deliveries. When customer is physically at the shop they don't like it and try to turn him away. I urge people not to order deliveries too much and try to eat in if possible and if rules allow. You will get lot better than what is in deliveries.

30 minutes late, warm and very very oily.

I honestly can't fault this place at all. Food is absolutely mouthwatering and full of flavour. We've searched for a decent takeaway and this is probably the best. Staff are lovely, and the food is always hot and plenty of it. Never change because you are awesome 😊

Absolutely poor service. Ordered food online at 18.38 on Saturday 28th March and it said estimated time 19.38. It’s now 20.36 and still no sign of em. Never again will I use these. I’ve got the receipt here anyway if they think about ripping me off.

Love their curries but delivery service is rubbish. Waited 1hr 15m tonight so phoned them, they said they had no order for my address and took my order again. Driver arrived 5 mins later with original order!! Would stop using them if the food wasnt so good.

This place used to be amazing but has now gone downhill. Unfresh food. Incomplete and wrong food orders of late. They then acknowledge their errors, offer a complimentary order next time then fail again to follow through. Argumentative staff too. No thanks

Ordered a take away tonight and when it arrived they had missed a curry, and sauces and popadoms were in a million pieces! When we called them to notify them they were very rude and dismissive...and to top it off the food was cold and vile.

Food delivered over 1hour 30 mins after ordering, rang twice told very busy. Food arrived only warm, lamb barely noticeable in curry and pizza ridiculously greasy and considering I rang twice to see where it was we weren’t even given a free poppadom. 👎🏼

Usually nip here for a kebab on a weds eve, great donner meat. Not tried the curries but they smell good.

I give 1 star... the korma sauce and sagaloo was nice. Having said that it was all cold. The butterfly prawn was the worst. Grease filled mess. Garlic bread... just bread. Ordered popadoms... didn't come. So wasted the chutney and onions. The prawn puree was ok... cold though. And the prawns hadn't been deveined. When I called to say I was unhappy ... he was more interested in telling me how much his prawns cost! Like I'm interested. His excuse for the cold food ... they were busy!!! Not my problem. Said he put the popadoms in. I said we didn't get them. Like I'm going to argue over £1. Basically... don't bother telling them you are unhappy .. as they are not interested. It's just put me off take outs. I don't order take out very often as it always seems to be a let down. Still-hungry.com

Do not order!!! The food was cold. The prawn butterfly 🤮 never seen anything more disgusting in all my life! Grease filled mess absolutely minging. We ordered popadoms... with mango n chutney The popadoms didn't come. So the mango and chutney were no use no ornament. The prawns hadn't be de-veined. So we were eating prawn poo!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 saw this on the first prawn ... so didn't eat any of it. And the "garlic bread" was just bread. Urgh. Absolutely rank! So disappointing... what a waste of £18!! Never again! Just praying I don't get food poisoning. 👎 Oh .... there were two nice elements... sagaloo and korma sauce. Remained hungry!

REAL Talk we've been ordering consistently fit food from a1 balti for a couple of years now. Chicken pakoras are AMAZING. lamb byriani always fit these lads know what they're doing. LOVE you a1 balti!!!!

I bought a kebab today. It was the worst kebab I've ever eaten. Dry, hard and cold. Bad.🤮

Food was ordered online and collected. Food was ready in the time they specified and was extremely delicious. I ordered starters and a selection of curries with rice and bread to share.

Working nights we have a lot of takeaways! Trying all the different options, we always seem to order where possible from A1 - the kebabs are a lot better value for money for quality and size. Let the food do the talking - not necessarily the look of the place 😀

Used to be good food but after a couple of not so good meals I gave it another chance tonight. My kebab was cold and no sauce after asking for sauce. Garlic bread with cheese was so absolutely disgusting I sent it back when the driver returned with the chips, kebab sauce and the free onion bhaji that they forgot to send with the order. I will never order from A1 Balti house again.

Ordered a take away from here it must be the worst kebab ever doner meat was hard as a rock chicken was nothing but water and they had spilt chill or something all over my nan bread tried to ring them up an got no answer will not be eating here again

I use the A1 all the time. Great food, good prices and brilliant customers service. Definitely recommend.
