What a beautiful restaurant. The decoration is excellent and the toilets spotless. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is amazing . Our first visit but will definitely be back soon. All in all a great experience

Takeaway arrived, however the order was missing a few items, tried calling for over an hour, constantly engaged. Its happened a few times now.

Disappointing experience. Food was great but was let down by the terrible service. After ordering our drinks, took 30 mins to get a diet coke and an additional 15 on top of this for 2 cocktails. We received one of our starters an hour after we arrived but the second starter arrived with our mains?!! One poor lad who'd only been working there a few days single handly was trying his best to serve everyone but didn't really see any other staff. Tried to charge for a rice they didn't actually give us. Won't be returning unfortunately.

Another great night at A Taste of Thailand. Service and food excellent as always. The live singer was awesome. Can't wait to be back again!

Fabulous tasting food with big portions and friendly staff.

The outside of this restaurant doesn't do it justice, it truly is a little gem. The food was absolutely incredible! I got the lamb and it was just falling off the bone!

I've been twice now and thoroughly enjoyed my meal both times.

Absolute fantastic, booked for 8 people, had two children with us and very accommodating, every member of staff very happy and keen to make sure the party were too....highly recommended, our experience was 10/10 will 100% be going back

Stay well away from this takeaway they don’t have a clue on how to run a delivery business, 3 hours waiting and get phoned up at closing time to say my food won’t be getting delivered and a refund is on there way, the manager seems like he’s got newt going on between his ears, the owner wants to sack them all it’s run by kids!

Takeaway is excellent, don't bother eating in.

First time eating Thai and won't be the last, a wonderful experience, a real treat for the taste buds, and an overall great night out.

Outstanding Service & cost but most of all the food was amazing We had satay starters, the red curry, pad Thai and the chilli fries. The food was piping hot and delicious served promptly by lovely staff such a great little Restuarant

The service was absolutely shocking, we waited 30 mins for our starter then 40 mins for our main. Speaking to the couple on an adjacent table and they had been sat waiting for 40 mins for their starter. It definitely seemed like they were concentrating on takeaway orders. But the very best part was that I ended up with a bout of food poisoning!! I had exactly the same as my partner but he had jasmine rice and I chose egg fried rice and so can only assume it was the egg fried rice that caused it. Two days of food poisoning I can safely say I will never return!!

Still 50/50 about this place. Given them a go a few times. Last time being a bottomless brunch. Enjoyed the music weather and drinks but the food isn’t good. Deep fried beige and bland tasting. I want to like it more but they need to up their game turn off the deep fat fryer and cook fresh and proper Thai. Sorry guys happy to come to another event but I’ll be eating a subway rather then nibbles !

Went here tonight for my birthday and I was really unimpressed. The service was just chaotic. Took absolutely ages to finally order. Drinks coming to the table that wasn't ours twice. Drinks we ordered continually not available. Guy taking our order couldn't find anything on the system so we couldn't have it?! For some reason all beef has been removed from the menu so no beef red curry anymore! Drinks just didn't come and had to be reordered. Some mains came. Then 5 minutes later others. Then 5 minutes later rice and noodles. Just chaos. Quality of the food was all pretty good. My ribs for starter where really tiny and dry and mainly fat but the rest of the food was pretty nice however rather expensive. The whole meal was just really frustrating and sort of just ruined the night. The guy who dealt with us at the end was actually very lovely and very apologetic but it really was too late for apologises. He removed the service charge from the bill which I wouldn't have paid anyway. I have been here before and had no problems and I really don't want to dislike this place it's exactly what we need in buckshaw but I'm not sure I will be rushing back after tonight.

We went for a date night and enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening with great food. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive and chatty. We shared a mixed platter, I had salmon panang and my wife chose pineapple rice with chicken - all of which was delicious. We'll definitely visit again!

Came for dinner with friends. Food was delicious. The owner always makes a point to come and meet everyone and check everything is ok. Lovely outdoor seating. I had the lamb shank which was delicious! I’ll definitely be back for the live music!

This place was tried previously and recommended by my partner (who is a longtime vegan) so I tried it. I'll be honest I've tried ALOT of takeaways and I wasn't expecting anything special. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely outstanding! I myself am not vegan or vegetarian and even I really enjoyed these options (the spicy chicken rice I had was also extremely nice). Would VERY MUCH recommend 👌👌👌

Absolutely amazing food!! The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Cocktails are so tasty and very moreish, and the food I couldn’t stop eating! attended taste of thailand this weekend, honestly this is a go to place me and my boyfriend had the pad thai and cocktails which was amazing as always. couldn’t recommend this place enough, also the staff are always fabulous 10/10 service x

3 of us decided to try this restaurant, having previously had take away. We each had something different, and all the food, starters and main course, was fabulous. So tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely go again, and happily recommend others to enjoy.

What an amazing little find! After all the pubs and restaurants had closed in Buckshaw by 10pm on a Friday, we walked past this place and a lovely lady waved us in. From the minute we stepped in, the atmosphere and team working there were super lovely. Alicia who waved us in turned out to be the owner and what a little beauty she is… super fun, down to earth and wants all her guests to have a the very best time. The cocktails were beautiful and we had the best night staying until after closing. We already can’t wait to be back either as a group of friends or as couples! If you haven’t yet been you’re missing out!! Don’t hesitate to go, would 1000% recommend!

Took a while to get served, not because it was busy. I was the only customer there. Told food would take 15 mins. It took 25. Food was average. Got part of the order wrong. Wouldn't go back in all probability

Me and my partner came on a Saturday night, we were pleasantly surprised with the live acoustic singer performing. The service was pleasant and prompt, buy on to the main event the food WOW! After travelling around Thailand in my younger days it took me right back! What a local gem very lucky have this in our doorstep.

Don't bother, this used to be fantastic, it's either changed ownership or they are now far too complacent Ordered chicken and prawn toast-3 small slices of deep fried baguette with minimal topping £6 1/4 crispy duck, no hoi sin sauce and had evidently been cooked days ago, dry, stale and not even warm with pathetic slices of carrot and cucumber, also stale £14.95 Shame as a couple of years ago this was a reliable, fresh and tasty place

Very disappointed,im going to keep it short and sweet purely because the waiter was very reasonable and knocked most things of the bill .1 million per cent everything was from the microwave and to me that's not acceptable.100 per cent will not be going ever again .

Slightly disappointing dine in experience tonight. The food was actually very good although I asked for egg noodle side and received rice noodles instead, after the long wait for food I couldn’t be bothered to send it back. The dinner didn’t get off to the best start as we waited a little too long for our drink order to be taken, followed by a longer wait for them to be delivered to the table (just a beer and vodka coke) we suspect the order was forgotten. When we were ready to order we requested a bottle of white wine with the main meal, but were told no white wine delivery had been made that day, so ordered red instead. Confusingly 3 separate tables seated after ours actually received white wine bottles, so that remains a mystery, If they got a late delivery, I would have expected to be notified. I must mention that the waiter (one and only) who served our table was fantastic, but it was painfully obvious that the restaurant was understaffed due to the long wait times. I must mention the music too, I found it completely inappropriate to have an entire evening of 90’s dance classics blasted out at such volume that it was difficult to hear each other speak in a restaurant setting serving Thai food, it just lost the ambiance for me personally (and we are a couple in our 30’s). Another note for improvement is the cleanliness, the windows are visibly dirty (small point) but the table itself hadn’t been cleaned properly with what I can only describe as saw dust like deposits on the plate, napkin and cutlery. The wine glasses were also very mirky with dirty water marks, I’m not sure if everything is hand or machine washed but either way was not done to a very good standard. It’s such a shame, because it would have been nice to have another nice local restaurant choice that we could rely on, but unfortunately although I rate the takeaway, the restaurant experience is seriously lacking…especially at the price point being charged. We are honestly not usually a critical audience, but there is much room for improvement in this case. I can therefore not recommend a Taste of Thailand for the in-dining restaurant experience but is still worth a shot for takeout.

Ordered a takeaway for Saturday night 1st April. Ordered well in advance during the afternoon. pre-order. Chose a 7.30 slot. Arrived at 9.30, by which time we'd given up and ordered from elsewhere. 40 pounds spent. Shameful.

so disappointed in my order this evening Ordered half a ducks and ribs The portion size of the duck was like a quarter size if not smaller (we paid 19.95) we still had pancakes left from the 1st pack and all the duck was gone. All the veg was dry like it was yesterday prep. And the ribs where more bone than rib! We have always had a good experience ordering from you! My meal wasn’t worth £30!

Usually nice, but poor this evening. Out of loaded fries but didn't mention it when ordering on the phone so only noticed when we got home and checked the order. Ordered chicken fried rice as a replacement upon return to the restaurant & that took 35 mins to make. Given a free sauce for troubles, turns out its a pot of water. Disappointing.

I have had takeaways before which have been good but this time I thought I would give the restaurant a try. I booked a table for my wife's birthday and it proved to be the right decision. Visited here on valentines day 2023 with my partner the food was all amazing and the sharing platter was to die for. The atmosphere was a nice chilled vibe there was a singer on singing relaxing songs while we were eating the staff were friendly and warm welcoming dident have to wait long for the food and it was all fresh and hot, thankyou taste of thailand for a lovely evening 😀

Shocking business model.. offer delivery on their website, spend the time going through choosing food and all the way to payment to then be met with errors saying can't be processed.. ring the place to be told that because they have a busy restaurant tonight they aren't doing delivery. Misleading advertisement and should not offer delivery if they can't meet the demand. Poor operational structure all round

I used to bring my mum and daughter here for lunch and have had takeaway previously. But recently they served me egg in a vegan dish and it has broken my trust in this place. Not an isolated incident as I know someone else who said they had the same thing happened to them last year. Very disappointing. I don't recommend to vegans.

A returning customer to Buckshaw Village ATOT, after a couple of bad experiences approx one year ago were the food was of poor quality and parts of the orders missing. Our experience wasn't great when being charged £20.00 for a takeaway. I can confirm that in terms of quality, the food has improved!...We regularly order the vegan munch box for 2, which consists of yellow sauce (non spicy), spring rolls x4, a choice of plain or satay loaded fries, rice, pad Thai tofu deep fried in a tamarind sauce. (NB-sweet chilli sauce and cucumber relish used to be included, perhaps this is no longer served as there was none in this order). The taste of each dish was flavoursome. Each dish compliment the other. Each tub comes approx half full and we questioned the quantity, but actually it was more than enough for 2 people. Whilst the price has now risen to £22.50 - we did feel that the vegan munch box is worth it. Since we last visited ATOT they have extended their eat in service, they now have separate bar and sit down areas. For anyone wanting to eat in, the restaurant is very tastefully designed and worth a visit. I would suggest booking in advance as most tables were occupied when I arrived to collect our takeaway this evening (Sunday).... Staff - from my brief encounter were both helpful and pleasant. We will be returning in the future having had a much better all round experience this time.

Visited for the first time last night with friend's and can't wait for a return. Luckily it's on our doorstep so the return will be very soon. Food was amazing, staff were fantastic, very helpful and attentive. And to top the night off there was a singer who played all kinds of music which was fab in the background but once everyone had eaten we were all up dancing. The atmosphere was brilliant. Such a great addition to Buckshaw, literally everything you need on a night in one place. And we were even more pleasantly surprised with the bill..for the food, drinks, service and entertainment we paid only £40 per head

泰菜一向是我最喜愛的。剛剛去完南瓜塲，就來到附近的這間泰國餐廳試吃一下，叫了3份套餐。 其中兩樣是同一樣的。 蝦餅就一般 春捲相信應該是現成貨。 紅咖哩其實就做得不錯吃的。可是，就沒有金不換同香茅嘅味道，立即感覺欠缺了很多～ 浪費了紅咖哩的這道菜色～ 冬陰功，都吃到冬陰的味道，稍為湯料多了點。 泰式炒河就真的比較差，正宗泰式炒河是用羅望子醬炒的。但很多 泰國以外地方開的泰國餐廳都因為不容易找到羅望子醬而羅會用番茄 汁來代替的。但問題這個泰式炒河茄汁落得重手了點！ 吃落有點一pat pat～ 頗為失望😞 餐牌上某些單點要自己另外加錢先有肉類或海鮮，這個就覺得非常之奇怪！從來沒有遇到任何一間泰式餐廳會這樣做的，沒理叫個紅咖哩或黃咖哩， 但當中完全沒有得包括豬肉，雞肉，海鮮，若需要以上東西，就要另外加錢🙄 （ 不止是這兩款菜式可以是這樣，還有其他同樣） 這個真的不可思議！ 難道叫個汁，然後再叫個白飯撈埋，這樣就食一餐😅 不知道是餐牌出錯還是什麼了🤷‍♀️但叫套餐就沒有這個問題了，就會包括雞肉，豬肉，或海鮮任選一種。 總括味道， 雖然都有知道廚房內煮的人都是泰國人，咖哩味道其實都不錯的，但真的缺乏了金不換同香茅這種香料，就已經不覺得是正宗的泰國菜啦～ 或者這些材料入口太貴了吧～ 想吃真正的泰國菜，還都是建議在泰國吃會開心很多喔～

We've ordered from ATOT a few times and the food has always been delicious! Good portions, flavourful food, and a great range of options for vegetarians and vegans! They are also incredibly accomodating of my partner's nut allergy, we order in advance and our food is prepared in a safe area to ensure minimal risk - very unusual to be this well catered for as a vegan and a nut allergy sufferer! We will continue to support this small business and hope to find an occasion where we can eat in the restaurant soon!

First time trying it. Tried phoning 10btime no answer. Ordered online. Went to collect. Didn't get told they didn't have my sticky ribs until everything was ready. Offered my the menu to choose something else but would have had to wait, and I didn't want the other food waiting (glad I didn't as chips were look warm when I got home anyway) Got a refund but wasn't even a complimentary prawn cracker.
