A Proper Little Cafe in East Lindsey

Great fresh cooked cod & chips, really liked the batter - probably the best fish & chips I have had for a long time You can eat in if you want for same price as take away too

Been using for years ,went today Had clearly been kept in hot box for far too long chips mostly dried up bits ,batter very hard at perimeter soggy elsewhere,not the first time lately so won't be going back,used to eat in or takeaway every week

Fish&chips twice two mugs of tea .Best in skeggy

Oh my what can I say...for the past 12yrs we have driven past this place and it has ALWAYS been busy...and every time my mum said we must try it...it must be good it's always full and the takeaway always had a cue...but we never did..my mum died in 2019 and the year after the place had been burnt down...anyway this year 2023 my grandson who's 10 said for our last meal before we go home can we try it for grandma so we did, Oh my god how bloody good was this, the fish on all 3 plates was cooked to perfection and was very very tasty,the chips a little pale but very good, and to finish it off we had PROPER mushy peas, service fantastic and price was spot on highly highly reccomend..I'm just so sorry we did not visit a lot sooner.. but we will definatley visit here in future every time Thanks everyone who works here 🤩

The chips were not edible fish was tasteless peas were ok wouldn't recommend to anybody and certainly wouldn't visit again myself

Had fish chips and peas for three people today will not be going again chips where anemic fish batter was soggy the girls were not Happy looks like papa's next time !!!

Can't better service any where in skegness at the proper little cafe wonderful staff in every way so so perlite and friendly

Garbage 2 large cod was like 1 small cod cut in half one without hardly any cod couldent go back has it closed by the time we got back to caravan disgusting that they charged me for 2 large cod never again fuming

Excellent food, priced well and staff are very helpful and courteous.

Best fish and chips around, specially if you are hungry. The mini fish and chips is more than enough. Would rather have bread and butter than a bread roll

Ordered a large cod,chips & peas wrapped. I would have been better with mini fish chips and peas. Will not be going back anytime soon. The 1 star is for the peas.

Just been through most of the takeaway restaurants with my grandparents all but this amazing restaurant has agreed to do everything we ask within 30 mins highly recommended amazing food and beautiful service….…… Proper Little Chippy is one of the best parts of our local economy highly recommend
