Had to change my review from 5 stars somethings changed maybe owners as the food totally different way less, curry and satay tastes strange and watery used to be my go to place unfortunately ill have to find somewhere else

Complete waste of money, honestly the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. You live and learn never again.

we order every two weeks for a family of five every time brilliant today everything we ordered even the chips had changed not for the good i’m assuming the place has been taken over nothing was nice at all most went in the bin won’t be ordering again

food nice and hot, the only thing was I ordered chips and not rice but still enjoyable

I really wish I could that fortune fried rice every day! The Jade House never lets me down with the quality of their food, and they don’t hold back with portion sizes and the amount of meat included. Definitely my favourite Chinese takeaway

Good food, delivery driver was very nice

Everything was ok apart from the chips as they were a bit hard as though they’d be sitting around a while and the chicken balls we’re a bit tough

Take away delivered by just eat Late by 40mins even though i ordered two hours before Food was poor to say the least One and a half of small prawn and just thin strips of chicken and pork, not sure where the beef was ( probably with the lack of prawns) I know food is expensive but come on at least give us what we are paying for or stop altogether I have a photo of the prawn and chicken but unable to post So disappointed as I had read some good reviews 🥲

Absolutely awful delivery service. waited over 1hr 30 mins for our food had to call the restaurant 4 times to find out where our order was. kept been told 5 mins, 10 mins, leaving now and still 30 mins after that

This Chinese was OK- not the best but the reason for the low rating is because I ordered sweet and sour sauce and I am certain it was out of date. It tasted so offensive I poured onto my food and it smelt odd and then when tasted - it was foul

sweet and sour sauce was awful and watery, beef was chewy and tasteless, bag of chicken balls missing which just eat refused to refund. however tue salt and pepper chips were lovely!

Delightful meal as usual. Piping hot. Arrived much earlier than expected.

As always we have to reheat the food as it’s never hot and the chips were like they had been sitting around a while

My fave Chinese to go too now! Everything I’ve had from here is delicious! I don’t mind waiting a little longer if it’s gunna be fresh and tasty definitely won’t go anywhere else now.

Takeaway where they delivered direct from their Web site. Really nice food and great value. Tasty and fresh. Definitely ordering again!

Enjoyed most of it. Didnt think much to the pork and chicken with bbq sauce though. Otherwise not bad. Prawn crackers lovely and thick and good for using as a boat!

Never turned up! After calling twice then said it was delivered to a neighbour! Never ever ordering from them again

Food was alright. Salt and pepper chicken you could hardly chew without breaking your jaw.

I ordered special fried rice, with variety of contents, chicken, beef ,prawn pork etc , I couldn't find any of them, just really little shavings loads of rice,the special is you don't get any thing in it ,sorry first time to use this venue and will not use again ,cost me a Tenner for rice

Food was great quality, arrived on time and was hot, beef chow mein was lovely as was the beef in black bean sauce, would recommend and will use again

DO NO ORDER FROM HERE. Food was late. I rang the shop twice to say it was on its way. The driver said he was late because the delivery he did before me made him late because of traffic. Why didn’t the shop inform me of this. Will no order from these again

Would not order from this place again spent £35 chips look an taste like they been reheated so I phoned up and asked for them to replace the chips as their not edible 3o mins later still waiting for chips and the other food is going cold I phoned again she said to reheat my food in microwave it’s a joke will never order from here again

Good portions, tasty and friendly staff

Few months ago your made a mistake and dropped food off when we didn't order. Then we get hassle from a bald headed guy with glasses as if it was our fault. Now he don't speak and is ignorant and awful and needs to be carful. Awful service

lost our many years customs due to the bad behaviour of their delivery driver. shame as food was good and previous drivers we're brilliant

driver had problems locating my address but he phoned me and all was well, very good service, only slight problem was the chips were slightly crispy but overall enjoyed the food

proper old school Chinese, lovely food and loads of it!

Lovely food…. Arrived within 15 minutes of ordering so makes me think it’s not fresh and more prepared and microwaved.

The food was nice and the portions were large however it took 2 hours and a couple of phone calls to arrive.

Everything was hot, had flavours, good size portions worth every penny we spent

Had nicer Chinese. There was water in the bottom of the salt and pepper chips and chow mien wasn’t nice at all

Always super fast. Great sweet and sour chicken, the sauce is the best I’ve had, got a kind of pineapple tropical aspect to it rather than the typical red food coloured sugar syrup. Very tasty, would love a wider selection of drinks though. Maybe some Chinese drinks

Not the best wouldn’t order again. Sweet and sour sauce like nothing I’ve tasted before and not in a good way. Chicken balls doughy and not crispy. It did arrive quickly and salt and pepper chips were good

The sweet and sour was very sickly like syrup and the chicken was soggy.

I was warned by message that the delivery would be late but, as it turned out, only 10 minutes. No problem.

Had these meals before, usually excellent but tonight far from this. Very greasy and rice was drowned in liquid turning it to mush. Not impressed this time.

Please don’t take so many orders on if you can’t handle the volume of them. Totally understand being busy today but almost 2 hours from order to delivery whilst being told it was already on its way. And this isn’t the first time.

First time using Jade House. Very impressed with the quality and quantity of food. The food was piping hot, lovely!!!! Will definitely order from them through Just-eat again. Loved that I could pay through PayPal as well instead of cash.

Ordered roast pork fried rice but got special fried rice. Hubby really doesn’t like prawns so this was rather disappointing. The rest of the food was lovely as always.

It was 2 hour late, really ridiculous. Food was average. We thought it was the branch of jade house situated in armthrope because that one was really good especially the food. But looks like it’s not, however if it anywhere linked to that armthrope one then please do better esp with delivery time. Thank you.

Meal was delivered within 5min of estimate time which was acceptable. However, the meal was not hot, as it usually is when previously delivered, only lukewarm so had to be heated before eating. Apart from that the meal was delicious. Thank you.

Outstanding food. Can't believe we've never ordered from here before. All the food was hot, heaps of flavour in all of it, didn't need to add any salt and cooked to perfection. Well up there with the best Chinese takeaway's in Doncaster.

Ordered from here for a long time but sadly this will be our last order. Ordered a beef curry and rice and chow mein, chips and curry sauce. Received the beef curry and rice and a chicken curry and rice. Called to rectify and we were told they were too busy to do anything about it and we could just have the meal for free next time. But that doesn’t help us tonight when someone is left with a meal they won’t eat.

Chow mien tasted burnt. The food just wasn’t very nice and we spent £50. So wasn’t happy at all

Can't fault anything. Food was amazing, delivered within time scale and food was hot not warm. Would recommend jade House and just eat. Amazing!

I don't eat Chinese very often and was a bit disappointed. It was far too salty for me. Lots of meat in the curry and the salt n pepper chips were nice as was the egg fried rice. I just found it far too salty.

Tasted ok but the container wasn’t good and the rice fell out into bag

By being early it showed that they don’t get many orders so overall delivery time was good food was a 5-10 we can say 8-10 for a Donny Chinese overall worth more then a tenner 👍

Asked them to cancel it and they said they didn't know how to whilst laughing and speaking in Chinese in the background. Used these for many years, will not be entertaining again.

Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Little bit busy so you might receive your meal a little late sometimes but the food is very good and they are nice people's. . Definitely recommend it
