Amazing lunch, Dad had a ploughman's and Mom and I quiche and salad , my dad is an excellent baker but had to admit defeat in the battle of coffee/walnut cake ! Friendliness and smiles from the staff were much appreciated , can't recommend this delightful establishment enough ! Will definitely be back !

I absolutely love this hidden gem. The team to start with, we’re absolutely lovely. Extremely friendly and helpful with menu choice. They would stop for a chat as well, which made feel so welcomed and I felt right at home. The food was amazing, it was so fresh and piping hot. You could really tell that they take pride in their food here and want to ensure they serve you the best food you can get. It was extremely well priced, I couldn’t believe how well priced in fact. There’s a good menu selection as well. The cakes there, they are just incredible. Since visiting, I have spoken to friends and family about this beautiful place where you can visit the gift shop whilst you’re there and leave extremely satisfied with every aspect of it. My friends and family absolutely loved hearing about it and hope they can make it for a visit soon as well! Thank you to the whole team for making the visit so special, I can’t wait to come back soon ❤️

What a lovely place. You walk through a lovely gift shop into an outdoor area, that has lots of hidden nooks and crannies. All covered so protected from the elements with lots of lovely different tables and armchairs. Such a lovely place to sit and relax. The staff were all lovely and friendly and so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We had the afternoon tea and it didn’t disappoint was lovely and fresh and presented beautifully. The plates and tea cups were all pretty and we offered refills and the staff kept checking we had everything we needed. Will definitely be returning.

Came with friends to celebrate my 60th birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time. First of all, the owners have made clever use of their outside space by creating a really cosy, covered area with lots of nooks and crannies, lit by lamps and with comfy armchairs and sofas - it looks so inviting when you step out, you're spoilt for choice where the best place to sit is! Someone there described it as a secret garden which is very apt really. There is a wide variety of food on offer - we had afternoon tea which was fantastic - all beautifully fresh and delicious - and I was especially touched as they kindly made a savoury afternoon tea just for me, a wonderful and generous array of delicacies, the highlight of which was the warm cheese scone with melted cheese on top! The waitress was friendly and made us feel most welcome: she told us our table wasn't booked after us so we settled down for a wonderful afternoon of delicious food and non-stop chat in the comfortable, relaxed surroundings. The owner came out towards the end and asked us how the savoury tea had been as she'd never made one before! I thought this was a lovely touch and a sign of someone who really cares about their business and their customers' satisfaction. We ended the afternoon with a little browse in the pretty gift shop at the front before heading off home, feeling very full and very happy! We definitely intend to return - highly recommended if you're in the area.

This place is bigger than it looks and the slices of cake are even bigger! We had a lovely lunch at little Taste of Heaven sitting in the Cosy corner, it is all beautifully decorated. The polite staff made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. It was very busy on Wednesday (half term) but I would recommend booking anyway so you aren't disappointed. We enjoy a huge slice of cake (Black Forest Gateau and Biscoff) it was hard to choose as the all the cakes looked amazing. The gift shop is beautiful too so I will be back for Christmas presents I'm sure.

Came with friends for my birthday to what I thought was a small tearoom but wow what a surprise awaited us. At the rear or the shop is a hidden treasure.Lots of little nooks and crannies and comfy seats and tables. I had the baked potato with filling with side salad. Very nice but smallest baked potato I've ever had and also only cooked in microwave so skin not crispy sadly. The best selection of cakes ever. Very pleasant attentive staff who soon put right couple of small problems. Will definitely return. Wear a warm coat as you sit outside albeit under cover although there are heaters on the walls. Will definitely return as is a lovely quirky place.
