A Fine Kettle of Fish in Wigan

Sólo he estado en este chippy un par de veces. Y cada vez que te dicen que no puedes tener lo que pidas. Simplemente pedí hoy un barniz de pescado con eglefino en lugar de bacalao y le dije que no puede tener eso. Estaba feliz de pagar más por el eglefino, pero el miembro extremadamente grosero del personal acaba de cerrar la conversación. Bueno, es bastante fácil - hay un montón de otras opciones alrededor, así que no volveremos a poner un pie en el lugar.

Great local Chippy, the girls are always happy & bubbly when serving & the food is great! Only thing that lets the side down is the young chap behind the fryer, always looks like he doesn’t want to be there, poor attitude to his fellow colleagues when they ask a question & absolutely no customer service skills at all, how he’s still working here is beyond me & really does ruin an otherwise fantastic atmosphere you don’t get elsewhere.

Amazing portion of salt and pepper chips cooked to perfection. Even though the food is cooked to order here the service was very quick and efficient. We eill definitely be returning.

Recently moved to the area and was looking for a good chippy. Found it. This is the best chippy this side of Wigan. Freshly cooked. Piping hot. What’s not to love.

Drove to the Fine Kettle Of Fish tonight, will never go again .No one waiting that should of been the sign. The lady behind the fish counter , opened her mouth saying what do you want ,not how can I help you or what would you like. When I ordered fish and chips , she said is that all , I said yes please . Well I. Got 10 Chips and a fish which must have been there all night. It went straight in the bin . Worst fish and chips ever. I had just finished a 12 hr shift , lucky McDonalds across the road was open , I don't frequent McDonalds very often , but a least it was open and the staff there have manners. I hope the owner of the chip shop reads this because the staff are ignorant and rude.

What a chippy in short one of the best chippies I’ve ever visited the staff are lovely the food is fresh and always served hot and the service is prompt Definitely going to be my regular chippy 👍👍👍👍👍
