Best Indian food in the area and super value

My 1st visit to Aroma 11/07/24. Was a little apprehensive as some of the reviews were extremely negative but also quite old. Aroma does some great set meals,I have friends that have tried them recently and would try them again. I didn’t want a set meal as you get more than I could eat so I had a lamb balti with pilau rice and garlic naan. It was delicious I watched the chef cooking it so I know it was fresh hot and tasty. I will definitely use Aroma again.

Rat infestation. Great for Food poisoning.

Brilliant all rounder for my weekly takeaway love it, balti taj mahal and the aroma mix massala are two of my favourites never been disappointed. Keep up the good work lads

Aroma has to be the worst takeaway in Golborne! Cold mushy chips and rock hard 3 week old donner meat. Avoid like your life depends on it. Also customer service is none existence and rude.

I was looking forward to my curry and they cancelled my order without a reason

Regular customer, food always good but decided on a large chicken kebab and was gutted how little chicken was on it.

Order wrong Items missing But what was delivered was OK.

Always faster than they say they will be, always tasty, good value for money, always too hot to even lift out of the bag right away. Great little indian. Perfect that it's our local!

Used to have takeaways from here and kebabs were lovely. This time only small amount of chicken and salad was just bit of lettuce. Also very late with order and order not complete

Great Indian food + great value

Shocking service tonight. We order every week never a problem. Today we got 2 donner meat and chips. Selected large for both trays to arrive half empty. We rang up to speak to them explained we order all the time and never had a problem before. They made no offer to rectify this what so ever they just said they'd have a word. Clearly customer service means nothing to this take away.

If i could rate this place 0 stars i would. Food was cold , curry was extremely watery. No sauces with popadoms, asked for spice in curry- not one bit added. Ordered a portion of chips bag wasnt even a quarter full. Place is awful wont be ordering again. Definitely wouldnt reccomend.

Absolutely horrid! Chicken Tikka Masala full of water and completely inedible. Had no choice but to bin it! Clearly pre-frozen and reheated! Will not buy again!

We had a lovely meal from here yesterday. Can't fault at all. Food freshly cooked and the Chicken Bhuna and Naan bread were delicious. Would definately recommend and will go back.

I've used this place a number of times despite their food being average at best, but they're the nearest takeaway. Tonight, ordered online and after 2 hours, delivered wrong food and unable to get a refund since I paid online and the guy on the phone couldn't speak english.

Best Indian takeaway I've been too. Was 10 mins late but food was piping hot and delivery driver also apologised. Never had that before from a driver and can't thank them enough for the high level of customer service.

I ordered my food at half 7. Said it’d be here at 8. It’s now almost 9pm. Ravenous after a long day at work driving over 90 minutes to train staff and 120 minutes home in traffic. Thought we’d try a new Indian. Absolutely fuming. Food isn’t even here yet and it’s 1 Star from me because I’m contemplating ringing them and telling them to shove it. I rang at 8:30pm. Didn’t even have the chance to ask where it was before a staff member rudely interrupted with “yes 2 minutes” and hung up. That was 20 minutes ago! Do not order here if you want your food at a reasonable hour. *update* 21:22 - food arrived. Food was gorgeous. So I’ve bumped the stars up. I guess we’d go back. Only to collect. Never as a delivery. At least we’ll be there in the restaurant when collecting to monitor how long it takes

We ordered our food with a confirmed delivery time of 7:50. The food did not arrive until almost an hour later. The restaurant is only 1.5 miles away and we only ordered 2 curry’s and 2 rice. When I called up at 8:10 to ask where it was the gentleman on the phone was very short with me and said that it would be 5 mins, yet it still didn’t arrive for another 30 minutes. The food was piping hot however, it was the first time I’d been disappointed with a curry I’d ordered. My chicken tikka masala was tasteless, watery and oily. My partner also said the same about his chicken makhani. It was not worth the wait. We won’t be ordering again.

It's been 2 hours and no sign of our food, rang three times and been told 10-15 mins each time. No apology or anything. Bet the food won't even be any good at this rate. Think I'll pass next time.

Early delivery time which was very annoying. Watery tikka sauce. Wouldnt reorder or reccomend

We always get the deal with a few amendments. Chicken jalfrezi is as good as I have had, my wife's tikka makhani is always delicious and the Bombay Aloo is wonderful; the staff are always friendly and efficient.

Got to be best curry sauce anywhere around this area by a mile £2 40 might sound expensive but you get huge carton, totally recommend people try!!

Rang after an hour and a half of ordering, was told would be another half hour so I cancelled order! They said they had to refund through just eat! However still waiting refund! Have spoke to restaurant but they won’t refund until they are ready! Thieving restaurant! AVOID

Went last night thoroughly enjoyed it excellent food, ready on time and staff were friendly. The mid week credit buster deal can't be beaten. Will be going be again.

the meal was 45minutes late being delivered. the popadoms were soggy. the onion bages were lukewarm and tasteless. but the curry was good.

Had tried many in the past but this was so far the best!
