Oscars in Wigan

There this one guy that as mental health issues named Andy, who goes in he keeps looking over the table and keeps trying to but in while talking when we hardly know the guy he keeps on laughing at us pointing at towards us coming close when we go to the bar.

Wasn’t too bad inside, music was ok, went to the toilet and three guys lining up sniffing drugs , lovely , just what you expect to see, thought this was closed down for this reason but clearly no different

Cheap enough. Good selection of beers. Don't even know if they do food anymore

I'm not happy had a few drinks tonight with my sister at Oscars some lad throw a glass at my chin it's all bruised n people behind bar n bouncers did nothing went to cafe stella people behind bar looked after me asked about my chin n one girl said wouldn't go to Oscars she got jumped by 2 lads n they did nothing about it disgusting needs shutting down 😡😡😡😡

What a dive, fights galore, coke bags left in the toilets. Shame reallly as was always a decent boozer before it was sold.

Nipped in while passing. Great drink prices. Friendly lady behind bar.

Great pub with a great atmosphere. Jimmy the landlord makes everyone welcome

Held my son's 18th birthday here on a Saturday evening, the manager was lovely and really helpful. Helped me setup and went out of her way to find me extra tables. The bar staff were great and i'd all the young ones to make sure. Even tough they were so busy we didnt wait longer than a few minutes at the bar each time. The drinks were very cheap. The area we were given was lovely and clean and we were even given money for the jukebox. Well done Oscars you really made my sons 18th special and a night he wont forget being able to celebrate safely with friends and family.

Quite a big pub always got an offer on pool and a good beer garden

Full of underage kids. I know some 15 year olds can look 18, but the kids in here on a saturday night were fooling nobody (except the door staff it seems)

I went in here last night for the first time since its name change and won't bother again. The place was full of underage kids who were obviously not even 15 never mind 18. There was two bouncers on who let anybody in with no age checks. Then again one of the bouncers had a very young girlfriend. The pub used to attract all ages previously but this is just a kids place now.

Used to come here all that time on weekends. The staff are amazing, if the same people still work there, prices can’t be beat its a friendly vibe music is good, fairly tidy and lots of room to move if it gets rammed out. Not seen the new refurbishment, so idk what its like inside or anything so, that’s why ive not given it 5, if its anything like the way spinning jenny used to be. I’ll be very satisfied.

All pints £2.50 from 12.30 - 5.00 pm, also includes shorts & wine by the glass. Some shots are just a quid 🤪

Quite a rowdy venue but very pleasant. Efficient and polite bar staff, reasonable prices and a happy hour in place. Modern decor, clean and bright, located in the centre of town, will definitely call again for a quick pint

Good god..... awful. Staff don't care, pub is dirty. Toilets smell better than the rest of the place. Don't bother

Enjoyed it in there good music bar staff made us feel welcome. I was probably oldest in there but didn't feel like it more for younger ones but I will be going in again.🤩
