Horrendous passive aggressive staff. Just go to any nearby restaurant for a better experience.

Our small group went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Overall it was a good but not great experience. The pizza was fine, but not really worthy of 50 Kalo. The ingredients were congealed, and the pizzas were not saucy enough. The real let down was that, at the end of the meal the waitress asked if we would like limoncello (we assumed this was being offered for free as the restaurant knew we were celebrating a birthday). You can imagine our surprise when this was added to the bill, at over £25. It left a bad taste - very underhanded practices from the staff.

Italian quality with London reliability makes an excellent place like this. Italian staff with perfect command of the English language, pizza that won't make you believe you're miles from Italy.

We ordered an appetizer, salad and pizza. Pizza came within 15 minutes - the salad after 35 minutes and the starter came last after 50 minutes when requested. Even though there are a lot of employees in the place, it seemed very uncoordinated! The pizza was delicious - that was our consolation! The rest wasn't that special!

We had an amazing experience at this Italian pizzeria! We tried the Margherita con Bufala, Bianca Prosciutto e Funghi, and Pomodorini e Bufala pizzas, and each one was outstanding. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced—the bufala mozzarella was creamy and delicious, and the dough was light and airy with just the right amount of crunch. Everything was truly exceptional, and we’ll definitely be back!

Great food and exceptional service

It’s embarrassing how good and cheap the pizza is vs an average meal in London let alone outside of the UK. It’s the same quality as the Naples location - meaning high-quality ingredients and pizzas - but for no line (in Naples you have to queue for hours) and for a very cheap price for London standards. I’m sad for anyone missing out on these, would best 85% of pizza places in Italy

Was served a very good pizza. The base was very good, tasty sauce and very good topping. Not all waiters on the spot had a smile on their lips. Might have been a long day for some…. Recommend booking a table in advance.

Everything is very tight and very loud. Unfortunately it's not particularly comfortable either. The pizza 🍕 was very, very good.

I went for dinner on a Thursday night, we had a booking and we’re seated almost immediately. After seating the waitress has asked if we’d like water, once returned she had asked if we were ready to order. Within very limited time of being seated the waitress was continuing to persist we order citing we only had the table for a limited time. The food was nice and very large compared to the price. A shame the service was lacking.

By far the best pizza I’ve ever had. If you want Italian authentic thin crust pizza, this is the place. The only criticism is the menu is just pizza (except for desserts). I get that in order for the pizza to be this good, you need 100% focus on pizza, but maybe some olives or dipping bread would be a nice addition? Nevertheless, 100% would go back again. Service was excellent too.

Sadly it does not live up to the 50 Kalo in Naples, which is a high bar to meet as my personal favourite pizza place in the world. I wanted a softer moist crust with intensely charred leopard spotting but it was pretty uniformly crisp and therefore dry.

A real find! The atmosphere is cozy, and the dishes are tasty and original.

You can not compare this with the original Restaurant in Naples. The Pizza is ok. But far away from award winning taste. Service is not that friendly.

The pizza was simply phenomenal—perfectly baked with rich flavors that impressed us from the first bite. The ambiance is unique—elegant and cozy, with details that create a truly Italian atmosphere in the heart of London, while also offering a warm and welcoming feel. Special compliments go to the waiter who took care of our table. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to every detail made our evening even more special. We were also delighted by the special touch when we arrived—songs by the legendary Croatian singer Oliver Dragojević were playing, which made it an incredible experience to hear such music in the center of London. I popped in on a weekday evening with no reservation and despite a packed house, the staff found a spot for me within 20 minutes. If you're asked to wait, there are two pubs across the street and up the alley to hang out in. Highly recommend doing that. I would have waited longer because the pizza was so worth it. This was one of the best pizzas I've had and easily the best crust. It was so fluffy and crunchy all at the same time. So glad I came here.

Best pizza in London and better than the pizzas I’ve had in Italy so far. The dough makes all the difference! I always have dinner here at least once a month and fortunately their quality hasn’t changed. Been all over Italy the last few years and I have yet to find a pizza that is equally good, except the other 50 Kalo in Rome. My favourite restaurant when I’m craving Italian pizza. I went to this pizzeria with my family, very good and artfully laid out pizza, high quality products but the best thing (and I say this as a Neapolitan) was the omelette! The best I've ever eaten!

The best pizza in the world to date. The dough is super but the ingredients are crazy. I don't think the English will ever appreciate such a stratospheric product. Pretty normal restaurant. To sell it to you as the best pizza in London, it leaves a lot to be desired. It was a totally normal pizza that didn't stand out for anything and the place was somewhat overwhelming because it had too many tables.

It was the best pizza of my life, the toilets were in very good condition and the staff was nice and polite What was particularly remarkable was that the first pizzas arrived after about 2 minutes. After the first pizzas, we immediately ordered more and these again very quickly We were served by: RAFAEL (also speaks Spanish which was very helpful ;)

Oh well, for London the pizza isn't bad. I grew up in a pizzeria so, I must say that in Verdello the pizza chefs do well... but there is a lack in the ingredients that is very noticeable. I had a margherita like I always do the first time in a pizzeria, and it was rubbery, cold. Furthermore, the waiters seem very annoyed, lazy, they threw plates and glasses at you... for €20 a pizza, come on.

Staff were very kind and inviting, restraunt is clean and looks upscale without being to much. For the food wow one of the best pizzas that I have had anywhere in the world. Very traditional style and sauce super flavorful without being overwhelming. Crust was done just right and everything tasted and smelled so fresh. My first pizzas was so good that I ordered another couldn't leave without trying both. By far one of the best places I have been and if you enjoy a traditional style pizza this is the place for you.

We had a reservation at 9 pm but they made us wait 30minutes to get the table. Starters were good but nothing out of this world. Pizza was probably the best ever tried. Prices are okay according to London prices. I will probably come back.

No doubt this is the best pizza in London. And the pistachio tiramisu - to die for. I went to their restaurant in Naples which was a bit more formal (odd for a pizza restaurant) and it was also out of this world. Amalia our waiter was AMAZING but her colleague was annoying trying to take our unfinished plates and top up our drinks too much. Can’t wait to come back.

A weak spin-off of 50 Kalò in Naples. On entering, you are immediately overwhelmed by the poor acoustics, tables too close together to accommodate extra place settings. Quality of the pizzas was also not what you would expect from 50 Kalò as the crust was too soft and soggy. In addition, there was too much cheese on top which made pizza too tough. For me, 50 Kalò... No Go

Authentic Napoli Pizza experience, the wait staff were entertaining and made the dining experience even more fun. The prices were also extremely reasonable for central London. Just be sure to make a reservation! I had the pizza Diavola and it was fantastic!

Too expensive for what is offered.

Very noisy place. The acoustics and the tables so close together invite you to leave quickly. The pizza is beautifully decorated but the flavor does not stand out. The best was the pistachio tiramisu.

It's a bit of an exaggeration, the guy who throws the pizza keeps picking his nose in front of the public.

We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to find a free seat for an hour. The pizza was great, the coffee was extremely good, but there is a dessert that I would like to recommend you do not die without eating, it does not have such a taste, we will go there just for dessert tomorrow. Dessert: piramisu 💚

I never write a bad review but the service was very very bad. We had to wait almost 1 hour (with reservation!) and we had a table near the door with so many people queuing around our table and no way to put the buggie (push chair ). We kindly asked for another place: it was literally impossible to eat at that table with the pushchair and I think very uncomfortable for everyone when there are so many people waiting around your table placed near the door. They replied that we had to wait and we did long time until we decided to go away. I am Italian and I was embarrassed because real Italian restaurant are never so bad. Maybe the pizzas are really good but the service was terrible and no respect for clients with a pushchair

Beautiful facilities and delicious foods.

By far the biggest disappointment ever. I ordered the only vegan pizza (50 Kalo) on the menu but as you can see from the picture it was more of a salad on top of the dough. Apparently it’s a local pizza and according to the waiter a “famous” one but I didn’t see it anyone ordering it or any other pictures online. The staff however were kind enough to remove the pizza from the bill which I appreciate. I just wouldn’t recommend if you are vegan/lactose free as there aren’t many alternatives.

I have been quiet few times in the past and it was something special and that is why I was travelling far to get there. This time it was different. No tomato sauce in margarita or tiny bit on the side only, too much mozzarella and not the same quality. I called the manager and he told me that the tomato sauce it is under the ham. I couldn’t see it. It’s a shame as I won’t go back. It was definitely different. Sloppy and not well cooked and definitely no tomato sauce. I would appreciated if they were apologising rather than trying to convince me. Unless if it is really what they are offering now

Real Italian pizzeria in London. Good pizza exactly like in Italy but prices much higher than the Italian ones (as in all of London, after all).

I had high expectations for the 50 Kalo pizza, but I was somewhat disappointed. The pizza is extremely thin and differs from the many Neapolitan pizzas I’ve enjoyed in restaurants in Naples. While the fritti was excellent, albeit a bit pricey, the biggest letdown was the pizza itself. It was good, but not exceptional. Personally, I prefer other places. Additionally, the venue is very crowded, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxed environment.

Have been coming here for years but tonight pizza was not right. The pizza was very thin and sloppy and arrived at my table more than 20 minutes later than friends. When I pointed out to the Manager that my pizza was almost raw and half cooked he denied it and tried to convince me otherwise. I did not return the pizza just because I was too hungry. Shame as I won’t go back again.

We went because this is listed as a top 10 pizza joint on Earth. We ate well, we were served with professionalism and care and the location is nearly perfect. As a pizza guy from Chicago, I was leery that anything could complete with my hometown heroes. I'm leaving London crowning a King of Pizza.

Worst customer service. I explained the below to them, thought I would contact them, to give them the chance to put things right. But just look how they speak to you; like a little kid, and with total, disrespect. (See email with picture) This is the standard I receive when I order via Uber eats. But what is more disappointing, is when I reach out to them before leaving a review and explain Uber eats is uninterested. Their sole priority is shift blame, taking no responsibility, and not trying to put things right. So hence why the review is a one, because their customer service and care is terrible. Disappointing

This is an Italian Neapolitan pizza restaurant located diagonally across from Trafala Square. The menu was confusing to look at, so I ordered the Margherita Pizza, which was the most popular in the reviews, and a cola. The chef is working hard inside making pizza, The table rotates quickly. Since the atmosphere meant ordering one plate per person, I also ordered one plate per person. Although they said it was only one pizza per person, the dough was thin so it was still edible. wow! It's not a taste worth admiring. I guess I'm familiar with Korean pizza... haha

-Reserved a table one hour in advance; -People in front of the entrance as a table becomes empty; -Water is not free, read the menu carefully; -I do not recommend the SUPPLÌ ROSSO starter, no presentation, a ball of fried rice with smoked cheese inside, ordinary; -The MARGHERITA pizza is good, light, if you have the option to choose your table when you arrive, choose a table far from the front door, your pizza may get cold; -Amalia suggested chili oil to me, it was a good idea, it is very good; -I highly recommend the creamy PISTAMISÙ dessert.

Fantastic wood oven Pizza! I had the Diavola, and the combination of Fior de Latte and aged Parmesan cheeses is a tasty duo. The spicy highlights and olive oil make it one of the best Pizza I ever had...

Pizza is terrible, the crust is undercooked and they brought it so fast that it’s clear they didn’t care on a Sunday night. My fault thinking that a restaurant nearby Trafalgar Square at 9:30 pm on a Sunday would be any good, yet they charge for a good experience.

We found this restaurant some years ago after going to a show. It seemed that not many places were open in that area at that time of night but luckily we came across this one, and it did not, nor has not since, disappoint. Really great pizzas, great lively atmosphere and really nice friendly, efficient staff. Well worth going to, would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Ok I'm visiting from the US.,but that was darn good pizza and caprese salad with a glass of wine. Fair price point $$. If in The neighborhood drop in for sure.

Having had pizzas delivered from here, and been past many times on the bus, I was keen to visit and eat in. My wife and I stopped off en route to a railway station. We got a table despite no reservation and it being pretty busy. Service was friendly enough but felt rather rushed - typically the servers shoved the plates in front of us and we had to call them back for things like pepper or parmesan cheese. Likewise with the bill. The place is very noisy with poor acoustics and lots of shouting. The pizzas were okay but really not that special. I don’t mind the ‘black bits’ which come from a proper hot pizza oven regardless of what they might do in NYC! Drinks prices seemed high especially given that service charge is also added. The toilets seemed a bit rough/ready and tucked away especially given that this is part of a ‘posh’ hotel building. We’re not likely to rush back, especially given that a small intimate Italian restaurant in Victoria serves pizzas that we generally prefer.

Once I saw this place reached v high on the list for the Best Pizza in Europe (obvs excluding Italy) I started dreaming that maybe, just maybe, I could finally reunite with my ever-eluding love: a genuine pizza in the UK. The verdict: they make one of the best pizzas I've tried in Britain but, unfortunately, it's not quite there yet for me. Service however is superb, nice ambience, a tiramisu fresh/softly made, and we were given sparkling red wine (!) to try which was a nice touch. So go enjoy, it's definitely worth the visit. Just keep in mind it's food in Britain, and therefore adjust your expectations.

Who has pizza for Valentines? I did in this pizzeria with a beautiful interior. I was a little concerned by the short time booking but we were t hurried and enjoyed a couple of delicious pizzas in this award winning pizzeria from Italy. I loved the selection on the Le mine pizza vegetal selection and had the Tris di Funghi with the white cheese Fior Di Latte Cheese, which was a first. It was delicious and my date thoroughly enjoyed his pizza. I’ll definitely return as there were other pizzas I wish to try!

Wow what a mess. EATING BLACK/BURNT FOOD IS DANGEROUS and unnecessary. Pizza is made each day without burning it, it takes time and standards. The staff tried and was really lovely and thoughtful but the pizza is just awful, really awful. Soggy and black crust is a sign it time do something different. I guess this place is riding on reputation because it was crowded. I don't know how they sleep at night making such low a health hazard of a product.
