Feels like a nice pizza place back home(I'm from New Jersey USA). Everything is cooked very well. The ingredients taste fresh. And the bread if very thin but soft. I can see why this got Michelin star.

I am not Italian but would say this was the best and real Italian Pizza. However, service is not good at all. Whether people are still deciding what to drink instead of saying you will come back once we are ready you just turn your back on people? Also when answering the phone if you can not understand the other person don't hang out on people it is very frustrating specially when you do it 3 times in a row when we need to book a table When somebody has finished their meal but another still eating is a bit annoying. The lady manager needs to remember that even the owner treats people better. I would 100% go back there for the food if the service was better.

I’ve been to 50 Kalò before, but this time the experience truly deserved a review. Paolo in particular was incredibly welcoming and provided outstanding service. Super kind and attentive, especially interacting with my nearly 2yrs old daughter—it was genuinely heartwarming. The pizzas “carciofi and bresaola “ “salsiccia and friarielli” were simply exceptional (as always) as the location. Highly recommended!

I had been to Naples months ago and was skeptical about whether they could reproduce pizza in England too. I was wrong, it's still the best there too. Lower prices than other similar places, very kind staff.

50 Kalò We love to try pizza internationally, especially brick oven. The ingredients always taste more fresh and the pizza seems to melt in your mouth, leaving you full, but not stuffed. 50 Kalo is a top pizza places in the world, so of course we had to check it out, even more so since it was located next to our hotel. The restaurant is a small, relatively open space with many tables, situated throughout the space. As you walk in, there are tables for 2 situated along side the corridor. At the end of the corridor is the center point of the restaurant, aka the “kitchen” or rather oven. The tables seem to range in size and turn relatively quickly. The menu offers a variety of Neapolitan style pizzas, some starters and salads, and a handful of desserts. It was nice to see many pizzas on the menu, rather than other items; this way you know that they do pizza very well! We ordered their Margherita pizza to share; it’s about 12 inches. We noticed most people ordered one pizza per person. The pizza was fantastic! The crust was thin and crispy, just the way we prefer. The sauce and cheese were both layered in perfect amounts, neither being too much or too little. We also tried their specially crafted for 50 Kalo’s beer. It was a light beer, which paired well with the pizza. Our server recommended their pistachio tiramisu; she spoke very highly of it. But we were too full to have dessert.

I have mixed feelings about my experience here. While the food was good and the staff were polite, several issues left me disappointed. The biggest issue was the time limit on our table. As a group of five adults and a two-year-old, the allocated time 1.5 hours was far too short to enjoy our meal comfortably. Towards the end we were told we only had 10 minutes left, which forced us to rush through our food. We didn’t have the chance to order dessert or even finish our drinks. I understand this isn’t the staff’s fault - but rather a frustrating restaurant policy that doesn’t account for groups or families with children. To make matters worse the restaurant had several empty tables. The staff was nice but it was difficult to get their attention when we needed something. More attentiveness would have been helpful, especially given the limited time we had. Overall we enjoyed the food, however the rushed experience and limited time made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. The restaurant should reconsider its policy to be more inclusive and considerate towards families with children, considering it’s supposed to be a family friendly restaurant.

Stumbled across this place while staying at Citadines- we were luckily seated straight away without a reservationfir 5 people -so lucky we found it- having just come from Rome and Florence and enjoyed great pizzas there , this was fantastic. Service was really good food came out quickly and desserts were also good. Would come back again and highly recommend.

Visited as was recommended by a friend. We checked the vegan options before coming and liked the look of their options. When we arrived and we ordered the vegan pizza the waiter was rude and dismissive and followed up with "so all you want is vegetables with bread?" then stormed off. The pizzas themselves were uninspired, there was no flavour to anything other than the salted olives on the pizza. It's in their interest to just not offer a vegan option if they aren't at least going to try. On a positive note the restaurant itself is lovely and had a great atmosphere! Although the non-vegan options looked really gold we will not be recommending to anyone given our experience last night.

Yesterday, I saw a performance of Mamma Mia at the Novello Theater, and visited on the way to my accommodation around 10 p.m. The interior was crowded and not quiet, but lively and nice. The waitress was also friendly. I ordered a margherita pizza and a beer. It was the best pizza I've ever had. I wasn't hungry, and it was the first time I ate an entire pizza by myself. If I get the chance, I definitely want to visit again. I really recommend it.

Great tasting pizza. Service was good, although they are very strict with timings so if you are not careful there is not enough time for dessert. Would be useful (and more profitable for the restaurant) for staff to come round at the cut off time to take dessert orders.

The first time going there and there’s always a huge queue. Better get a booking in advance. We’ve been lucky and within 45 min waiting we got a table. Staff nice and professional. Pizza was yummy!! Will be back.

Great location with authentic Italian pizza! The restaurant is at Trafalgar Square. We went for dinner with prebooking. The service was fast, staff were helpful. This place offers amazing flovoursome pizzas, with right amount of thinkness in the crust, fresh ingredients, right amount of cheese, it's so tasty. For the desserts I had pistamisu which I absolutely loved.

I hope the management reads my review as a constructive feedback from a loyal customer. We loved the one in Rome and even visited there a few times this year back in July and wanted to try the one in London too. Unfortunately it didn't match the experience we had in Italy. The food was still good but the atmosphere was very very poor. I understand that probably being in a listed building they were quite limited in decoration options but the lighting selection was extremely poor and not functional. Although the original building has beautiful marble columns and lots of nice details instead design wise it was decided to showcase huge photos of the chef Ciro Salvo which is understandable that he's a proud chef but they occupied a huge amount of space and didn't add value to the interior design at all. The other thing was that the toilets needed maintenance. The ladies toilets were missing toilet paper and the gents toilets were out of order. The service was okay but not as good as even other chain restaurants. Especially for this price level I am quite disappointed with the experience I had. I hope there are improvements in the future so we can visit there again.

We went by making a reservation. I wanted to go again because it was a place I went to last year and loved its taste. My family tried it for the first time and liked it very much. It reflected the taste of wood fire. Prices and size of pizza are normal. Two people can be satisfied with one pizza. However, a service fee is added, 12.5% ​​and this is a large rate. I would gladly go again. The waiters were very sympathetic. Last time we ate tiramisu and it was legendary. Again, a large portion for one person.

I took an arancino as an appetizer which I shared with my sister before the pizza arrived (in the photo, in fact, it is divided in half) and I must say that it was really good, crunchy on the outside and stringy on the inside, perfect. Subsequently we had two equally good pizzas and for dessert a classic tiramisu about which there is nothing to say. Excellent cuisine, impeccable staff and a very welcoming and clean place; As an Italian I can say that it makes you feel right at home.

My second visit here, after 50 Kalo, Naples. It didn't disappoint! We'd booked the table months in advance and when turned up early, it wasn't an issue. Friendly service, excellent pizza and great atmosphere. Only 1 toilet was functioning so they're was a bit of a wait, but I guess this is temporary. Service charge was included and I was happy with it. Highly recommended. Again!

Pizza is good and the atmosphere is nice. It's quite loud when it's full. The service is already included in the bill at 12.5%, so don't round up too generously.

I went to the restaurant and there were tables with no customers, they said there must be a reservation and the wait will be 3 hours and this is funny for this long time, and I discovered later and through the responses that there were those who arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and took a table directly, a restaurant that does not respect customers who come from far away and do not have the ability to admit a mistake. Reading other reviews I was really expecting something special so although the pizza wasn't at all bad, I was a bit disappointed overall. Nothing really stood out, surprised this is frequently cited as one of the best pizza places in London...

The best Napolitano pizza you can find in London, prepared as if you were in Napoli with premium ingredients. Lovely place, good seating especially if you are served by Amalia. She has the best recommendations for starters, Pizza and dessert. Always smiling and nice jokes on top. What to ask more? We promised her to return with friends and Kids .

Why 12.5% of service Charge? Everywhere else it is 10%.. in my opinion a Client should choose how much of the tip he/ she wants to leave.. i found it a bit cold in the restaurant. Double espresso is a bit expensive. There should be honey option to sweeten. Otherwise, very good pizza and nice service.

Our small group went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Overall it was a good but not great experience. The pizza was fine, but not really worthy of 50 Kalo. The ingredients were congealed, and the pizzas were not saucy enough. The real let down was that, at the end of the meal the waitress asked if we would like limoncello (we assumed this was being offered for free as the restaurant knew we were celebrating a birthday). You can imagine our surprise when this was added to the bill, at over £25. It left a bad taste - very underhanded practices from the staff.

We ordered an appetizer, salad and pizza. Pizza came within 15 minutes - the salad after 35 minutes and the starter came last after 50 minutes when requested. Even though there are a lot of employees in the place, it seemed very uncoordinated! The pizza was delicious - that was our consolation! The rest wasn't that special!

We had an amazing experience at this Italian pizzeria! We tried the Margherita con Bufala, Bianca Prosciutto e Funghi, and Pomodorini e Bufala pizzas, and each one was outstanding. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced—the bufala mozzarella was creamy and delicious, and the dough was light and airy with just the right amount of crunch. Everything was truly exceptional, and we’ll definitely be back!

Was served a very good pizza. The base was very good, tasty sauce and very good topping. Not all waiters on the spot had a smile on their lips. Might have been a long day for some…. Recommend booking a table in advance.

It’s embarrassing how good and cheap the pizza is vs an average meal in London let alone outside of the UK. It’s the same quality as the Naples location - meaning high-quality ingredients and pizzas - but for no line (in Naples you have to queue for hours) and for a very cheap price for London standards. I’m sad for anyone missing out on these, would best 85% of pizza places in Italy

By far the best pizza I’ve ever had. If you want Italian authentic thin crust pizza, this is the place. The only criticism is the menu is just pizza (except for desserts). I get that in order for the pizza to be this good, you need 100% focus on pizza, but maybe some olives or dipping bread would be a nice addition? Nevertheless, 100% would go back again. Sadly it does not live up to the 50 Kalo in Naples, which is a high bar to meet as my personal favourite pizza place in the world. I wanted a softer moist crust with intensely charred leopard spotting but it was pretty uniformly crisp and therefore dry.

I went for dinner on a Thursday night, we had a booking and we’re seated almost immediately. After seating the waitress has asked if we’d like water, once returned she had asked if we were ready to order. Within very limited time of being seated the waitress was continuing to persist we order citing we only had the table for a limited time. The food was nice and very large compared to the price. A shame the service was lacking.

You can not compare this with the original Restaurant in Naples. The Pizza is ok. But far away from award winning taste. Service is not that friendly.

I popped in on a weekday evening with no reservation and despite a packed house, the staff found a spot for me within 20 minutes. If you're asked to wait, there are two pubs across the street and up the alley to hang out in. Highly recommend doing that. I would have waited longer because the pizza was so worth it. This was one of the best pizzas I've had and easily the best crust. It was so fluffy and crunchy all at the same time. So glad I came here.

I always have dinner here at least once a month and fortunately their quality hasn’t changed. Pretty normal restaurant. To sell it to you as the best pizza in London, it leaves a lot to be desired. It was a totally normal pizza that didn't stand out for anything and the place was somewhat overwhelming because it had too many tables.

Oh well, for London the pizza isn't bad. I grew up in a pizzeria so, I must say that in Verdello the pizza chefs do well... but there is a lack in the ingredients that is very noticeable. I had a margherita like I always do the first time in a pizzeria, and it was rubbery, cold. Furthermore, the waiters seem very annoyed, lazy, they threw plates and glasses at you... for €20 a pizza, come on.

Staff were very kind and inviting, restraunt is clean and looks upscale without being to much. For the food wow one of the best pizzas that I have had anywhere in the world. Very traditional style and sauce super flavorful without being overwhelming. Crust was done just right and everything tasted and smelled so fresh. My first pizzas was so good that I ordered another couldn't leave without trying both. By far one of the best places I have been and if you enjoy a traditional style pizza this is the place for you.

We had a reservation at 9 pm but they made us wait 30minutes to get the table. Starters were good but nothing out of this world. Pizza was probably the best ever tried. Prices are okay according to London prices. I will probably come back.

I went to their restaurant in Naples which was a bit more formal (odd for a pizza restaurant) and it was also out of this world. Amalia our waiter was AMAZING but her colleague was annoying trying to take our unfinished plates and top up our drinks too much. Can’t wait to come back.

A weak spin-off of 50 Kalò in Naples. On entering, you are immediately overwhelmed by the poor acoustics, tables too close together to accommodate extra place settings. Quality of the pizzas was also not what you would expect from 50 Kalò as the crust was too soft and soggy. In addition, there was too much cheese on top which made pizza too tough. For me, 50 Kalò... No Go
