I ordered through an offer for 25% off my order. Placed it on line and waited for delivery. This was the only let down as it didn't arrive until after Father's Day. Next time I will make more thorough check on delivery times to avoid disappointment. That said, the cookies and pies were delicious as always. It arrived safely by the delivery team and I had soon had them all in the fridge to chill and enjoy after dinner over a couple of days. Great place for the daily or special treats for those you love!

Shocking. The cakes look like they've been used as a ball in the NBA; tell me what's the point in the box that they're 'packed' in having fragile tape on, when the said box is then put into a DPD bag so the fragile tape isn't visible at all?! And what's worse, the cakes also tasted and felt as though they'd been left out in the sun to dry for a couple of weeks. And to add icing to the cake (pardon the pun), I paid just shy of £6 for delivery of the two cakes that I ordered. This is meant to take 1-3 days upon ordering, however I didn't receive the cakes until 5 days later. All in all, to say I'm disappointed is a huge under statement. What a waste of money. I wouldn't even bother wasting your time and money on the postal items.

Cookie Baking Class - Good session with the girls. Such fun for a birthday activity! There were a lot of options available and could decorate to our hearts contents! Would definitely recommend.

Very, very poor service. Was waiting for the best part of 20 minutes despite there being only two other customers in the Café who both had already sat down with their food. Very slow and disappointing for what is usually an otherwise enjoyable experience.

This was such a lovely meal, the staff are so lovely and make you feel so welcome I have been here twice and both times have thoroughly loved the food and atmosphere. Will be returning. I had the avocado and mozzarella toast and an orange and carrot juice and it was so tasty! And not overly priced for the good quality food!

Attended today for a Mother’s Day brunch which was booked however when we got there we had to wait for a table to be cleared and prepared for us. We were then sat down and had to find a menu ourselves, it was disappointing to see that the floor was also extremely dirty. We had to go to the counter to order ourselves which was fine however due to queuing with people coming in for takeaway I was away from the table for 20 mins. It would have been a lot better if someone had come and taken our order, they had about 6-7 members of staff off who were all lovely and pleasant but table service would of been better and would have avoided the counter becoming chaotic. The food was lovely, well presented and filling and the milkshakes were fab!! We had planned to take some cookies home with us but they had sold out and had very limited stock which was disappointing seeing as it was Mother’s Day and only 2pm! Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this place for people to sit in but would for the takeaway desserts.

The terrible reviews are spot on for this place..... went Sunday for breakfast... NO BACON, NO AVOCADO, SELLLING BREAD WHICH IS NOT SOUR DOUGH AS SOUR DOUGH...... NO EGGS....... I would never visit this place again at £11:75 for breakfast i expected way better... what came out was a joke i wish i had taken a picture

HULL St Stephens - TERRIBLE!! - Went today after seeing what’s on hull advertising this place 2 days ago - when we got there everything seemed ok not too busy there was tables free and food coming out. We were sat down by a waitress who handed us menus and did not state anything was unavailable or they were experiencing a busy period. I stood in the queue for 10 mins to order no problem however when I got there I was told there was no breakfasts and no mushrooms. I went back to my partner who then wanted Nutella pancakes. I queued again for 10 mins to order again. After 20 mins my latte came but no fresh orange that I had also ordered. We continued to wait and could see people around us were also missing drinks as they were being served one at a time and also were being told there was not enough ingredients to make their orders 30 - 50 mins after they had ordered. One table left after waiting 45 mins for their food and asked for a refund.. and another table were about to leave also after they had been told to change their order twice however their food then came after an hour of waiting. Another table was a family with young children who also had their order changed due to lack of ingredients a while after placing their order and they then asked for it to go as they were waiting so long. The guy only brought the drinks out in glasses just as they were leaving to be told by the customers oh we are taking everything to go now. This was all happening around the room as we was waiting for our food. After 45 minutes I went to check our food order and the orange juice. I was told there was no Nutella for the pancakes we had ordered. So we settled for chocolate sauce instead. She said we were next in line however a table next to us had been there longer than us and still hadn’t received their food. We were then approached by a waitress who said they now had no orange juice are you alright with lemonade instead. As this was the 4th thing we had been told was unavailable over the space of an hour my partner said do you want to tell me what you do have as everything I’ve asked for so far you’ve told me you haven’t got - and the waitress replied they’ve had a rush and it’s not her problem.. no apology or anything offered to rectify the situation . we did not order another drink and asked for a refund. The pancakes then came out at different times. Now the food was good when it came out I won’t say it wasn’t the pancakes were fluffy and fresh however the whole experience was so poor it just didn’t matter by this point and had ruined our visit for us. There seemed to be no manager present and the staff did not conduct their customer service well at all. It was mayhem. The waitress ended up on the phone to the manager as we heard her tell other staff she was calling Lee the manager from the other end of the cafe. She paced in-front of the glass faced shop saying how many complaints there had been and that they had no ingredients. This again was an act that should not have happened infront of tall the customers. At no point did they tell any new customers waking in that there was long waits or shortages in ingredients. People were then sitting down and leaving. As we left we had to go and ask for our refund of the orange juice which was granted but again no apology made. This refund was done via the till as an automatic refund. It is not in my bank as of yet but I will be monitoring. Safe to say my experience was absolutely awful and it’s such a shame as it had potential to be good. I would have expected as they knew what’s on hull had advertised a promotional video for their cafe that the first Saturday since (which city was also playing) they would have ordered enough ingredients to keep up with demand. They were open from 8.30 and out of most things by 11.30. That’s only 3 hours of service. We will not be returning ever again nor recommending to anyone.

ST STEPHENS STORE REVIEW: Worst experience in a cafe ever. People had been waiting nearly an hour for their food for the waitress to come out and tell them there was no ingredients left for their breakfast. She then proceeded to go “it’s not really my fault though is it” really poor service. I got up and quickly asked for a refund as I didn’t have all day to be sat waiting for a sandwich. The staff need customer service training. Such a shame as it’s such a prime spot for a cafe! Lots of people followed suit and left immediately.

Such a lovely little spot. The woman that served me, Daisy, was very knowledgeable of all of the food and made sure I had everything I needed. I am hard of hearing and she accommodated my needs perfectly. I rarely leave reviews as I am a busy man, but wanted to take the time out of my day to appreciate the lovely experience that was all down to Daisy!

Have often passed and thought the bakes looked delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful but disappointed by the grubby-looking plastic beaker I was served my hot drink in. The deep cookies had no flavour at all, as if they were made with cheap ingredients. I couldn’t finish mine.

Really shocked at how bad the customer service was when visiting today. Tutted at by staff, eye rolls, not told price of an item. Ive never had bad customer service here before but never been served by this person. Won’t be rushing back.

Plastic coffee beakers. Floor dirty. Cushions on seating dirty. Uninviting. Staff not welcoming. Sugar was brought with used spoon in. Menus grubby.

It seems a shame that little thought has gone in to the seating at this cafe - the incredibly narrow upright bench is very uncomfortable. The tiny tables are so low that trying to eat is an equally uncomfortable experience. The music playlist is so bad it is distracting & doesn't match the atmosphere of the cafe. A board outside advertises that they do brunch, but once inside, the only menu displayed is for the vast cake selection. The staff told me the menus for brunch were on the tables. They must get so bored having to tell customers this , over & over again - why isn't it up on the wall? When it got busy & people were queuing, clearly looking at the wall for the brunch menu they actually left rather than queue to wait & ask where the menu was. There are not nearly enough vegetarian or vegan options. The 2 good things about this cafe are the brilliant, friendly & capable young staff and my avocado, mozzarella & . Upon leaving, I paid & tried to leave a tip. The waiter told me that they are not allowed to accept tips & when I asked why this is they explained that, even if I had left cash on the table, the money would go to the cafe & not shared out between the staff.

Visited the Beverley, East Riding establishment late July 2023. Looks a great place from the outside, the seating area at the rear not so good. The chairs are too low to the ground should not be a problem however, the concrete bench seating is raised far higher than the chairs, I sat towering over my partner who sat on the opposite side of the table, another couple to our right had the same problem and found it amusing, which I guess it was and both ended up sitting next to each other on the bench seat. The coffees we ordered arrived, an Americano and cappuccino, both contained very little coffee and were overly milky and weak, I noticed the couple to our right were also served the same anaemic looking coffee. We did not finish our drinks and left feeling disappointed

Visited your Chipping Norton venue in late June, it was a Monday morning about 11am, chosen as large menu cards outside advertising a brunch menu. Sat inside and once settled my husband went to order, I was just having coffee, my son and husband wanted to eat, despite their being various choices on the displayed menu only bacon and sausage sandwiches available, none of the much more indulgent/interesting on the menu, we were advised it had been a busy weekend and there was nothing left. I had requested a cortado, both staff looked blank, subsequent explained what it was, no brown sugar? After what seemed like a long wait, no other customers present sandwiches arrived which were good. Not a great experience at all, staff seemed totally uninterested, place looked like it could do with a good sweep of the floors and tidy up. Generally very disappointing.

Stopped here before meeting friends for lunch for a treat for later. Got the box of 6 for £20.00 with a mix of cookies, brownies and deep dish cookies. Great value and enjoyed by both friends and family later! Love the treats from here....never disappointed with what is on offer any time of the year

Beautiful interior, super friendly & happy staff with great knowledge Coffee is the best I’ve had in Beverley & it’s so nice to have somewhere that’s pretty & relaxed rather than the standard coffee shops! Cookie dough is insane & the biscoff cookies are to die for!

Popped in for a mid week treat! Such delicious cakes and sweets! Highly recommend and we will absolutely be back for more!
