Forest Fungi is a great breakfast / brunch spot. The breakfast menu is served until 2 and offers some unusual and delicious options, mushrooms are front and centre as you would expect. They have also introduced a BBQ menu and offer tea and cake in the afternoon. There is a small farm shop on site and a good range of fresh baked goods. The service is friendly and approachable and prices reasonable. The best thing about Forest Fungi is the food, high quality, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented every time. At the weekend it is sensible to book in advance.

Over priced for what it was. Burnt bacon no sauce on food even tho asked for it on there. Rude service.

There should be a government warning about this pub. You should be warned about how lovely it is. So nice to walk into a pub that's still a pub. It's how a pub should be. We went with friends for the first time last week and we will certainly visit again. Great atmosphere with friendly locals, lovely staff and then the food ‼️ OMG this is what pub food should be like. Fresh, cooked on site and a desperate Dan size portion. I could not recommend this pub any more. It's a proper pub with proper grub. Go you will love it.

Restaurant Review I was really looking forward to dining here, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The menu was quite misleading—we thought we were paying £50 each for our own steak, but it turned out to be an 8 oz steak to share. While dessert was included and we had one each, that didn’t make up for the disappointment. To make matters worse, no one asked how we’d like our steak cooked, and it arrived rare. I couldn’t eat mine at all. The sides were underwhelming—truffle chips were nice, but the Caesar salad was literally just a bowl of leaves with a few croutons thrown in. For dessert, the chocolate delice was fine, nothing special. But what really topped off the evening was the state of the facilities—there was only one toilet for the whole place, and it was in awful condition. Overall, for the price, I expected much better. I won’t be returning.

been there several times because of the nice garden and pool table, staff and landlord are unfriendly, not very relaxing atmosphere. It is not worth it in the end, there are nicer pubs in the village.
