I now understand why the reviews were so low - my assorted meat came literally 5 little pieces of meat ina container , wasn’t even a quarter full and everything else well bland , jollof rice more like red coloured rice )(no taste) . Won’t be ordering again and if anything I should get a refund £50 for two spoon fulls cause that’s all I had eek

The most delicious African food I have tried in the UK. Amazing services, highly recommended. I have tried white rice and beans with stew! My friends had masa, Eforiro, jollof rice, plantain. The Edikaikong is great too.

Have been to 280 degrees at least three times and have been impressed with the Isi-ewu delicacy that they serve. Admittedly it is not inexpensive, but one must expect that good food will not come cheap The goat head comes in a wooden container and is well spiced and very authentic taste wise. I would hazard that in terms of taste it should compare with any similar dish in Nigeria. My only very qualm, and I pointed this out to the proprietor, is the fact that there a quite a few sturdy bones that one has to negotiate whilst eating the dish. I was informed that some customers actually prefer the bones not to be removed. All in all, I would recommend 280 Degrees as far as Isi-ewu is concerned. It beats all other Isi-ewu spots that I have eaten in recently.

It's over priced for below average food. The jollof rice and chicken weren't tasty and it was cold. Very disappointing especially as the jollof rice smelt burnt, was dry and lacked flavour. Be careful ordering from delivery companies as they can't track the Driver and you can't cancel if something goes wrong for 280d, unlike many other restaurants. 280 degrees took 2 and a half hours to deliver my food after they said it would take 55mins on the app. When I called them after 100mins of waiting they said they didn't know how long it would take and blamed the rain, as if it never rains in London. They then called back 30mins later and stated that they would send an Uber who will arrive in 20mins. The Driver didn't come to the door. I had to walk down the steps of my flat, come outside to his car, open the door as he asked (he didn't even say please) and bend down to get it as the lazy Driver couldn't even be bothered to hand it to me, he just pointed at the bag. I suspect the Driver is one of the staff to be honest, but as I have an injury and walking is painful I paid £10 for door to door delivery, which I didn't receive.

Extremely annoying, incompetent and unprofessional restaurant. Who delivers food 1 hour past the delivery time??? Only 280 degrees Kilburn. Regardless of whether or not you are next door, they will be definitely come an hour late with sub par terrible food. Waste of time and money!

We ordered the grilled fish with yam as the side. When getting back to the car after picking the order we noticed the yam did not look fresh and they mentioned when we called them that they had used the oil to fry many other things. The grilled fish was tasteless and must add the meal was not worth the £29:99

Dark, dirty and shabby surroundings, were presented with a menu with truly ridiculous prices, £30 for soup and almost every dish similarly priced. Chose a platter for two which was also £30. The food was stir fried peppers with cubes of overcooked chicken and beef. Plantain on the side. Whole pattern wouldn't have cost more than £1 to make. Drinks were chosen from a menu but were much more when the bill came- the excuse - the menu prices are out of date. Some haggling got them reduced to the menu price. Overall a complete rip off with average food. Avoid.

I paid over £30 for my food and it has not yet arrived when I called the restaurant they claimed it was delivered outside my property and hung off the phone I don't know the delivery drivers contact and left hungry. I want my money back rubbish experience!!

Ordered the okra soup, not really that good, didn’t eat it. Fufu was pretty good tho. Had to contact them because the food was very late, the number was not even working. Kinda felt like they forgot to deliver my order before I contacted them

First and foremost they sent me burnt chicken pie(shock) they also do not accept cash even though that’s against the apps policy. Staff very rude with zero customer service. Tiny portions and no ability to order extra or larger sizes if you wanted. One size fits all apparently… delivery charges are a robbery! In total it’s always a difficult / bad experience with these lot and like some Nigerian restaurants (they really don’t care) watch this review go straight past their heads lol

For food of £15 and delivery fee of £10 the quantity of rice is too small and there’s no option for just rice and stew. So, I had to pick rice, beans and plantain.

I had to contact restaurant several times to find out my order « status » as there was no information on the app. Order was not ready yet so the driver left the restaurant at 8:40pm (time I was supposed to be delivered). Then he could not find the hotel address. I almost gave up. I could get my order at 10:07pm instead of between 8:40 and 9 pm… very disppointed of the delay. Restaurant was cooperative giving me informations over the phone as I have a french number and could not easily be contacted by driver…. But well… last time for me.

Very bad experience i will never ever do it again. The worst resturant ever. Very high price for very little amount of food, delivery charge very high 10£ for order with 10£ price and over that delivery was late, take more than one hour for less than 1 mile distant, food quality bad. Very poor quality food for a restaurant run or owned by igbo's as i expected nothing short of quality as an igbo man myself. Service was terrible, very bad customer service, the food was tasteless and wasn't hot enough. My overall experience was just bad. The only good experience of the night was the DJ who was great! The price doesn't reflect the value, the quality nor experience. I'm prepared to as much as for a good and tasty food, but I'm sorry this was bad.

We had a great, authentic meal. Staff was very friendly and food was tasty. We had the oxtail pepper soup! I would definitely recommend it.

The food I ordered was not complete. The fried fish was omitted from the food delivered and no cutlery was included in the delivery.

I ordered goat head (isi ewu) from 280 degrees restaurant today and specifically asked that it should be properly done as the last time I ordered it had been mostly bones. I turned up to pick up my order and about 10 minutes away from the restaurant, I opened the dish to start eating and to my surprise the goat heat was cut in gigantic pieces instead of bite size as is the standard. I called the restaurant to complain and ask if they would rectify the order or failing that process a refund. The response I received was full of lies, customer blaming and outright refusal to do anything for a customer as soon as they have collected your money. Apparently, they do not accept any complaints as soon as you leave their restaurant with your order. WATCH OUT - these people have no scruples, they will sell you something different from what you ordered and pull out this alien policy when you complain. I called the police and have been advised to submit a complaint to trading standards which I’ll process tomorrow. I’m doing all this to ensure that they improve their customer service which is non existent now and for them to realise that they are doing business in a country with va standard and consumers are guaranteed value for money paid for services.

I would never order from here again. I read the reviews before hand and should have listened to them but I love to give my culture support at every open opportunity. I now wish I didn’t I paid £20 something for Ogbono with pounded yam. And then £16 for delivery. Never in my life have I felt like this was such waste I feel scammed I received the tiniest container of what they want to call ogbono. It was so salty no actual flavour. I didn’t enjoy it one bit I wouldn’t even give it one star. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I am a big fan of Nigerian food and, besides my mother-in-law's cooking, some of the best can be found at 280. Delicious egusi soup with oxtail and some with goat meat. On the edge of chili hotness for the onyocha palet! We have also had really good moi moi and jollof rice. Tasty and healthy! Thank you.

I ordered for bitter leaf soup with Assorted meat and was charged £21 plus delivery fees , but there was almost NO meat inside the soup despite that meat is the cheapest food stuff here and even in Africa , its a very big shame to serve 2 tiny shaki and miserable beef inside a soup of £20

We had really tasty meals there. The Afang soup was top notch. The service was great. They had really nice Nigerian Jam playing the whole time. I highly recommend

Visited London and was craving Nigerian food. Ordered Egusi soup with dry fish and assorted meat. Finger-licking experience. This was everything I imagined and more. Can't wait to visit 280 Degrees restaurant with friends and family when next I'm in London. Highly recommend!

The guy that served me and my friend was extremely friendly, he made us feel really comfortable, fast service, food was extremely tasty, my friend got jollof rice, plantain and meat and she loved it, I got jollof rice and beans and was very tasty. The beans are probably the best and tastiest beans I have ever had, baring in mind it was our first time eating from the restaurant.

280degrees Jellof rice has been a winning treat for my family. As soon as you give an option for a takeaway night, everyone will be in total agreement for 280degrees jellof rice.No rice grain is left afterwards and is really always a finger licking experience for the whole family.We always look forward to jellof nights.Can’t wait for the lockdown to be over and we can eat in.Thank you 280 for making my family agree on one thing .Happy customer

I live outside London and very occasionally travel in to 280 Degrees in London for the specific purpose of treating myself to a Nigerian meal when I get cravings.Because of the lockdown, I have not been able to get to 280 Degrees and it was too far away for delivery. So I attempted to tame my growing several months old cravings by ordering food from a locally accessible Nigerian Restaurant.That was when I understood the difference between an Orchestra and a One Man Band. They both produce music, but the difference between both may be measured in light years.First thing I am going to do when restrictions are removed is head to Kilburn High Road.
