Lovely staff, really liked the decor, lots of power points for laptops etc - ordered at counter and drinks brought to my table. I understand that the nearby library doesn't allow food, so if you need to work outside of the office and fancy a cuppa at the same time, this is perfect. It's not the cheapest but I thought the drinks were good quality and the staff were lovely.

Do not accept cash?? What? Was told they only take cash if it’s the correct amount. Come on - not everyone wants to pay by card!

Called in today for a drink and snack with a friend but was left waiting at the counter while the girl faffed around , I asked if I could be served, several minutes later I was still waiting while she rearranged cakes. I left in disgust . I would not recommend this cafe.

Very poor, soup was barely covering the bowl and when I asked I got told it’s a ladle per bowl!! Think they need to serve it in an espresso cup as it’s fit

Coffee was fine but prices were high for a not particularly large cup. Tended to be noisy with lots of people passing through. Staff were busy - could have employed another to clear tables faster.

We have just been and had a calzone plus a pizza, both were amazing! New ownership, I think? Not sure! But, either way very impressed with the service. Smiles all the way through, and an awesome meal to go with it ✌🏼 thanks guys!

We are up north this weekend so decided to visit the Glasshouse as they had a great offer on. Our waitress Kelly was great. She was so friendly and chatty. Food great. Service great. Will definitely return.

I absolutely love everything about Passion. The restaurant is small and cosy. We visited for Sunday lunch and had 9 adults and 2 children one of whom is a very fussy eater, nothing was too much effort for the staff they are exceptional! The food menu is small but perfectly formed and everything is delicious. The price for the meal was totally worth every penny if not more. I have been here for date night as well and the experience was just as great as it always it. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Barnsley as it's unique and fantastic. I advise you book in advance as it's only a small place.
