1707 Restaurant in Warwick

Warmly welcomed into the restaurant and quickly shown to our table. Table was on the ‘3rd row’ from the window and right at the end so it was not easy to see the racecourse from our table. Lots of TVs around to watch though. Food was really good and you could choose when it came out. Would definitely go again.

My son booked 1707 restaurant as a 70th birthday treat & wow what can i say brilliant ,food/drink/service outstanding & waitress holly was so good/nice,1st time visit but not the last.70year old peter whittaker .

We did hospitality at the races for my surprise 40th and was brilliant, some lovely food and the atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend for events

I had been to the 1707 restaurant previously and remembered it as very good. This visit to the race meeting on 19 October was utterly brilliant. Firstly, there is a great view of the course from the windows and from the outside balcony there is an easy view of the winning post. The Tote is immediately outside the room (as are the toilets) but a representative of the Tote also comes around the room. There was also a tipster talk. As to the restaurant itself, our group of 6 were greeted with free glass of prosecco and small pastries. The service throughout was outstanding, professional but friendly and took on board our requests as to timings. The party had starters of Bhaji, prawn cocktail and another one which I can't remember. The main courses we took were the beef, plaice fillets and vegetarian and the puddings I remember were the chocolate sponge and the cheese board. All were pronounced to be really good as were the beers, wines and water taken by the table, all served quickly and efficiently. All in all a great restaurant and with a bonus of the excellent day's racing.
